I know everyone who disagrees with you is an objective bad role-player or is doing some power fantasy play to feel good about himself - how could you be wrong when your character is the âlothar of his timeâ, mr âDa Vinci of RPâ.
Okay? I didnât know that you have to see me role-play for me to be a role-player.
True but nah Iâve genuinely roleplayed with you and didnât find the concept / execution very appealing
It was on a character called Silandros, who was a blue dragon who was also a member of the Alliance military for some reason and loved killing the Horde
Maybe you improved since then and became this super interesting roleplayer but Iâm speaking from my personal experience which makes me think your roleplay is equivalent to your forum posting and your PVE ability
Probably the 2nd worst reason after greafing. In fact, I can at least see how some pathetic people might find it funny to be a distuptive a-hol. Whatâs even worse is that these other group of people with the âzoo touristâ mentality actually think theyâre somehow on the moral high-ground.
This is a really lame thing to write, you do this every time to devalue the fact that someone was griefed while rping. No matter who the person is, and bringing their newest example of being griefed.
My RP was griefed two nights ago by some guy spamming toys for a solid 20 mins before he went up on a huge mount. Atleast he went away shortly after that.
But as you say its just 1 example so it does not count. But instead i think its 1 example of over a thousand.
Unable to be immersed for RP on an RP server. That is a problem, no matter if it is âonlyâ 30 mins. Donât think time is relevant to if it matters if you are being griefed or not.
What are you even saying here? Is it that people are shutting you down because they donât agree with you but they all come from the some discord chat/community or what?
Yeah they should feel bad for agreeing that OOCers belong on an RP server.
Are you saying you are playing the devils advocate just for the sake of it? Because it always seems you are and that is rly lame and boring. Not everything needs a person disagreeing for the sake of disagreement. Doing so only lowers the value of your argument because you will be unable to back it up properly (which we clearly see is the case)
He was technically Kirin Tor (as you know, during WoD the Kirin Tor had aligned himself with the Alliance against the Horde). Rather than fealty towards the Alliance, he was there to hunt the black gems (that server-wide project with⌠whatever those things were, the void gems? those). Note how technically speaking my character was playing both sides, also fighting the Alliance as a blood elf (ultimately even trying to favor the Horde over the Alliance in the conflict).
Edit.
This is always the way you start a discussion with me. Itâs not a strong start: it tells me your emotions are speaking instead of your brain. Iâm sure that in all that wall of text, I wonât find anything worth reading.
The reason some topics donât have a strong representative for the "unpopular opinion"is because the foundation of that opinion is totally bogus and whack and thus doesnât need to be heard.
In this case we see there is literally nothing to defend this crud than âpeopleâs rights to behave in a way that purposefully disrupts the intended purpose of the serverâ. What reason do you have to do that other than being a tosser? âFor the principle?â Yeah I donât think so.
So if youâre prepared to pick up the mantle of the unpopular opinion despite it being so because of huge dislike and lack of solid grounding, donât be surprised if people donât see any value in it. This isnât like some political think tank where the other voice may need airtime.
Imagine going into a science conference on evolution and being upset when people donât take your âwe need to show all argumentsâ as legit when you begin a presentation on creationism. Absolutely bonkers.
Yet everyone seems to find them challenging enough to warrant a reply, or is close-minded enough to be genuinely offended by these posts.
All these people patting themselves on the back (and trying to play upon false equivalences, for example) tells length about the insecurity behind this whole topic.
