Today I will remind you

Its barely insecurity, its just that people are sick of getting gawked at and disruptive behaviour should not be cheered on.
Only logic sense

I believe my first post in reply was called condescending.

I’m sure what we have here is just an extremely based and judicial review of megs post without reading it. Definitely not being condescending, because that makes someone not worth engaging with if I recall.

Lmao RPers are so sensitive who cares if you’re being griefed he says as he can’t help but keep posting every time the thread comes up to defend his inane position

Disagreement wouldn’t be so ill-received if there wasn’t more behind it. Not just when it comes to me (I’m always the troll after all, no?) but even from perfectly neutral parties that were accused of being perverts and so on.

Just look at the attitude on this topic with a detached mind, and you’ll find a lot of sh1t.

I was called in by our dear gentleman Aerilen. I’m sure a part of that sneaky Paladin wanted my take on your experience.

You would have arrived, called or not. Don’t lie

I don’t know if you have like a reading comprehension problem but Aerilen was mocking you

Nobody asked for your opinion

What is there behind it?
The fact someone in a raiding guild tries to defend disruptive OOCers? Of course that won’t be well received.
Its not like there is a neutral stance here, people that don’t intend to respect the purpose of this server should be picking a different one.

He was, but it was also a provocation which was hiding a genuine question (read: “how can he make Telaryn’s experience fit within his view”?).

Not necessarily. People on the internet tend to jump on anything they perceive as stupidity, no matter how obvious it is. It’s why people debate Flat Earthers and PETA.

think you’re just reading into it chief

But the fact is that it’s not just some monthly occurrence like you claim. I just don’t publicly report the dozens of other times I’ve lately experienced RP being griefed. Counted about 14 times one particularly busy evening :upside_down_face:

it’s like going to a circus to see the clowns

It might be what happens when you keep telling people they aren’t welcome. They come at you and try to make your day worse. It’s what trolling is about.

That people want drama, and want to see other people thrown in the mud. OOCers aren’t heavily damaging our server. If you get out of that misconception, the perspective on this affair changes a lot.

You mean to tell me the dragon poster is actually an OOCer?

Valley of Wisdom and Honour yesterday were pretty bad.
Cath Square near the harbour was pretty gnarly the day before.
I can’t count individual cases, but different people kept rising out of the OOC mildew to troll.

We say they aren’t welcome, so they prove our point? Genius idea for them.

Prehaps not the Realm but those that are dedicated roleplayers that lives, breath there certainly have felt been disrupted many years by Oocers.

I know you’re pretty steeped in this enlightened centrist persona you’re desperately trying to cling on to, but your opinion is really far from the objective truth. The griefing isn’t happening because of the lash back; the lash back is happening because of the griefing.

This current campaign you’re seeing is a pretty recent phenomenon but OOCers have been griefing RP for decades. People just got tired of people like you

“He is a dragon RPer but also doesn’t RP” 10/10 for logic, you’re surpassing even yourself.

Why does the disagreement have to have more behind it? If a clown keeps turning up at parliament to suggest crazy bills the fact the house keeps rebuking them isn’t evidence they’re doing it because of personal grudges- there’s no proof of that. There is proof it might be because they continually suggest bills they probably know the house won’t entertain.

As for the neural parties pervert accusations, whataboutism. Nobody has suggested that trolling mount humping OOCers are perverts. We’re talking about why some people seem to think on a roleplay server that defending behaviour that has no intention other than to disrupt roleplay needs to “have it’s day in court”. To date I haven’t heard a single compelling reason why.

Not to sound malicious, but I haven’t seen you around in the major hubs either, so it is quite normal to doubt that you have a good insight on the situation.
People have pointed this out already…
Kicking the hornets nest for the sake of it?

And that explains why there is so much toxicity all around the community.

If more people would try to be diplomatic, you’d have less mud-flinging contests.

We tried. It doesn’t work.
And saying RP servers are for RPers isn’t toxic. It’s accurate.
