Most non-healers don’t appreciate the value of a well designed UI. It’s not just about gaming performance but convenience. A bad UI is exhausting to use for several hours straight.
No bro, I haven’t done the mythic raids, I haven’t even entered them.
I’ll show you, buddy. As soon as I can, because I started again a week ago after a two-year hiatus.
Dude, I tanked and healed all +20 WITHOUT WA except for the first two years of TWW, because I didn’t play for two years. I think you’re way behind marrying these addons. They ruined you rather than improving you! You think there’s no life without WA:rofl: I feel sorry for you.
You’re right. This character isn’t the main character Oh my God, it was, then I realized the resto shaman wasn’t for me, so I changed.
But don’t worry. I accept the challenge. I’ll show you the results with the main character and I appreciate you asking.
A +20 when you played is a +10 today. There was a M+ level squish. A +17 would be the equivalent to a +27 or so in DF.
I got my portals literally the 1st week I started to play. Every single season. DF included.
You missed a lot. Basically, a KSC “bro” talking like a wanabee pro. Kinda that.
And I call BS your “I looked for a mythic raid”. They did not ask you for your “UI”. You literally started 1 weeks ago. Im sure you impressed them with your 200 ilvl gear and for SURE you got interviewed.
What a clown. Lying like that…
I recomend that you simply stop talking. Coment on things you know.
No I agree with you. My game had 1gb of ram used in addons installed. I loved a good addon. I have removed WAs all together as I have decided to just play remix and mess around with it until midnight and use the blizz stuff
The game ran worse with all these weak auras and addons on a decent rig with 32gb ram and a 3080. The loading times took ages with them.
The games mechanics has become bloated because of these addons. It’s dev v addon. Not dev v player.
I am pleased combat addons are going and will be going. Maybe for the exception of cells addon. Blizzards raid frames are shocking and the click casting right now won’t allow you to bind mmo mice buttons to it.
The day I discovered the existence of addons (a loooong time ago…), I decided I would never use them.
Till the present day I’ve been true with myself, and still happy with that choice
One thing I’m thinking about is how much better someone would be, as a player, if they can do twice the number of m+?
Like would +20 comparing to +10, linearly, equal twice the skill?
Just a thought I had cause I think some would imply that.
How do you then quantify skill?
Wait, let’s not talk it. But needless to say, there’s a lot going on with this; much wisdom.
Not even close. The skill level of people doing +20s is unbelievable. Its not linear. It’s exponential. People doing +20s are 10^10 times better than people doing +10s.
It dosent seem like it. Because if you watch a video of a +20 everything looks “easy”. Until you walk into a +17 and try that yourself. And its absolutely impossible to do things 2/3 key levels below what they do.
That is like comparing an Olimpic runner to a random fatso in the super market. Not even close.
There’s something the addon-deniers are forgetting. The extra customization and features blizz is pumping into the default UI come with a ton of extra configuration options, which is what most people dislike about addons and is the reason they avoid them.
Yes, I know. With every new season, there’s a key level squish, but I’ve always reached my goal of +20
I put a lot of effort into the keys, since I don’t have the opportunity to do mythic raids (I don’t keep up with guilds anymore and I’ve been playing solo since Shadowlands), I make up for the lack of mythic But you can still do raids in PUG, like 6 hours to take down 3 heroic bosses xD That’s fine, come on
When I started playing again, I looked up M+ by watching some YouTube videos and learned they’ve made a pretty big change four new affixes (which I need to reread carefully), but like I was telling the guy above, it’s not a problem for me. I put a lot of effort into M+ to make up for the lack of the mythic raid, and my goal is to achieve the +20 achievement every season
So, when you don’t know what to say, you insult and criticize?
I enjoy it when people do that, you know? Because they give the impression of “hit and sunk” and so you have to say something off-topic to try to stay afloat. I thought you were more intelligent and more inclined to pursue a civil discussion, but from what I see, you are the clown here
Then don’t be surprised when I write to you in game linking the results you asked me about on the main character.
I’ve already added you to my in-game friends list
There isnt. The original key level squish was in Dragonflight s4. Tww S1 was notorious for being absolutely brutal, +20 was world first level. So, I apologize in advance but i doubt that you play on that level, especially after a 2 years break.
Dragonflight, Shadowlands +20 is Tww +10. https://www.wowhead.com/news/dragonflight-dungeon-level-squish-in-season-4-harder-m0-with-no-affixes-or-timer-338037
The greatest skill of them all: adaptation.
This guy must be a true genius, skill exponentially growing with each season.
Or it’s that it’s not so special, you just gotta be a bit focused and studied:
But… there is no +20 achievment anymore. If you mean the one for portals. It’s +10 now. (Can easily be achieved without addons, so that’s something at least)
Thanks. I missed this information.
So, as the article states, a +5 now equals a previous +15
After reading it, I cursed, I won’t deny it.
And I’m very happy that they increased the difficulty of the HC and M0 dungeons.
Well, the M+ situation is quite different from how I remembered it two years ago… But I’ll still get involved
So, based on this, I should basically stop at +10 (since I was previously completing +20).
Nah… That’s a very poor result!! It’ll take me longer, but I’ll still aim higher. I’m absolutely not satisfied with a +10, damn it.
Bro, I know I CAN’T friend you on Battlenet. Please don’t make me so stupid.
I created a level 1 character on Uldum, your realm, I named him like this character I’m writing with here, Ellemental.
Give it a try, add Ellemental as a friend in-game (not on Battlenet) and you’ll see that you’ll find me on your realm. But whether you do it or not, it doesn’t matter to me, the important thing is to find you online and then write to you.
