Towelliee - pvp gearing is ez

He used to PVP alot in the early days, way before Twitch, was good too, these days WoW and streaming WoW PVE is His primary business and income, now, if he got paid for doing PVP I’m sure he would.
For Towelliee PVE as far far more “streamable” content.

For me your excuses are laughable and still won’t make me respect the fact you paid for any kind of toxic practices boosting is. You paid for boost and we basically talked about it.

The fact you came here being nice listing all your excuses won’t change the fact you used boosting that Blizzard should stop in the first place. Seeing every LFG group filled with boost offers just makes this game worse and worse. Instead of improving and trying people just farm/buy gold via tokens and buy boosts to flex then with their gear and achievmnets. Even though you don’t flex like Nexos I mentioned above doesn’t matter because you supported boosting with gold/RMT you spent.

Typing how hard it was to “actually play” with that rank 1 or gladiator player doesn’t justify the fact you did it. That guy probably played 1000 cr below his real rating. What about these guys who tried hard and practiced themselves to reach their goals that you won with and farmed?

Presenting this as positive outcome of a boost it just toxic. Instead of supporting boosting you should be vocal on the fact that Blizzard’s “gear is gear” and “WoW as game as whole” practices are just bad designs. You have way more influence than we all do and you could do something for players and your streaming fans but instead you just buy boost and pretend that everything is fine.

That’s why I have problem with respecting most of the streamers because instead of showing their real opinion about the game and supporting community they try not to criticize the game to get these beta keys first.

If you lads got boosted/carried , who cares!?
You aint the 1st/2nd/3rd to come here to the forums , saying its a good awsome thing , who cares tbh , juts a silly online game lool , i always say the same to you all , you have my total respect , no one as anything to do/judge others stuff…
But in a weird way this looks like you advertising something for others to folow or something…
just my 2 cents

Where did you mention that? It’s a long thread and I admittedly didn’t read through most of it, and now I’m curious…

Yeah agree, Top guilds boost each others alt’s in greens through Mythic and funnel them gear it’s just the same thing, they were boosted.
It saves a ton of time doesn’t mean they can’t do the content, and in shadowlands with PvP gear being as it is no doubt a high majority have done exactly what Towelliee did.

Even though you don’t understand anything it will be cringe for you 100%.

I actually do! Will have a look when I make myself some dinner, thanks.
EDIT: Is my forum acting up or did the link suddenly disappear?

Disappeared for me too lol

He’s obviouslly a “content creator” like Asmongold is, making content JUST for views rather than awesome gameplay.
Alot slag Asmongold off, but, he is very good at what he does creating high view content and thats his goal NOT real gameplay

I tried to make it look right but I only messed it up. So I just leave a link.

Yes he is but flexing on 2100 gear when he was literally put on base because he can’t even deal damage. Look at his Stormkeeper combo - he didn’t even cast Lavaburst first to get 20% more dmg on Lightning Bolt. This guy clearly can’t play the class. It was my guild that boost him and people don’t even hide it.

Thanks. Now I got it. Haven’t watched anything Nexos put out for at least… 3 years? Last time I did it was him making fun of some custom content private server.

It’s so cringe and sad to watch him saying “die trash in Polish” or something like that when he is literally boosted in every content and nickname “Bzykanie” which means “Humping” literally. This is the worst possible example of Polish community.

The biggest problem is that people think he legitimately got this rating and that by playing like him they can get similar gear xD This is hliarious.

And he doesn’t even play on Burning Legion! Surprising.

He does. He moved his character to BL horde.

Oh? He used to play on Defias Brotherhood, if I recall correctly.

Yeah, I understand your point, same with PVE boosted players you can spot them straight away in pug group, which is one reason I’ve always said using high ilvl is a bad metric to use when picking people for groups, but still people pick ilvl first.

It’s a little bit more difficult to pick that out with PvP, though. The boostee appears to have high experience and we do not have an equivalent of warcraftlogs to check whether they have actually done anything during the fights or not, and we cannot easily check who have they done all their arenas/bgs with in their rio history unless they were boosted by someone known. You have to do some more thorough checking to spot a PvP boost buyer!

You can see from a mile that guy doesn’t even know the class mechanics. Whole one shot at the time of the video was based on using Primordial Wave, Echoing Shock, Skyufry Totem and then hit 3x Lavaburst into two quick Lightning Bolts and if Bolts crited or you have mastery procs someone could die. The way he bursted in Kotmogu he lost around 40% dmg.

It’s extremely easy to figure it out with gameplay. If someone plays let’s say Mage like you and has gladiator tittle from the current season and then this person just deals PvE damage with no setups at all as Fire Mage then you clearly can see that this person didn’t get gladiator. You learn the way to play certain class from even playing against it. You might not know the details but you’d know when you die to it to know how to react.

Thing is, that requires you actually playing with the person and potentially losing some rating. PvErs can most often identify a boost-buyer without even inviting them to the group.

nope, not easy at all with pugs. Even by selecting carefully groups, pugging RBG to 1k6 is painful, u have to be lucky enough to join decent groups, and dodge enemy 227 ilvl boosters as well

100% this. The best groups are these that require you to be on voice and then you listen to their deep breathing and button mashing because none of them actually talk but in game voice is a must. Also a concept of target calling is so bad and archaic. Nowadays if you have CDs you call it and you just burst together. Warrior not calling his Sharpen Blade is a crime.
