You are talking about people who are firstly rank 1 players then streamers and they are watched for their skills. We are talking about “attention seeking” streamers that aren’t good at the game but they cause all drama and always get boosted.
I’m aware you’ve said that, but when your counterpoint to ‘There’s a small amount of RMT going on, but my friends don’t do it…’ you’re gonna get push back on that and people pointing at all the openly advertised avenues from streamers that were already pointed out earlier in the thread for Blazing at least. Especially when you said you’re going to believe the price list on boosting websites over ‘people say’ when that website has been around for ages and advertised on streams. I’m not ALSO saying that every boost is doing RMT like a couple have just that RMT, much like many other game rules need to be getting looked at more frequently and sternly. To have such places advertised at MDI and competitions is weird.
Lilith should have specified that in their post, then. Their initial statement did not make that clear at all.
That is your interpretation and yours alone.
If you know of any RMT going on you can report it to Blizzard
Accounts involved in RMT rarely come off lightly, they are usually just banned and don’t get to come back. They have to make new accounts losing everything they had.
I have? Those streamers still advertise that same website/company. Even advertisers we see having to use new accounts, but not said streamers or the related boosters from the ladder.
The fact that you say ‘most boosters don’t do RMT’ and ‘my friends don’t sell boosts for RMT only gold’ are your interpretation and yours alone. Don’t use that as a line of argument, if you’re going to say such things.
If accounts involved in RMT rarely come off lightly, why are there still so many about especially in regards to the ones that are openly advertised even at Blizzard competitions. Why was Reck like the ONLY one that got hit for account sharing when tons of people were doing that back then to pilot/boost. That’s the points people have brought up, and ones I have as well. Those ones haven’t lost a single account outside of Reck, who was still allowed to come back.
I am frustrated, and I’ve seen some others in this thread that were frustrated by the same things. It’s not like botting which I’ve NEVER seen advertised by streamers and you at least see them losing accounts pretty frequently. The only time I’ve ever even heard of an RMT Banwave was for Gallywix.
We can only presume the people doing the carrying in those scenarios like the exposure of being streamed with that person.
Some streamers get gifted all sorts of things by their viewers. It’s kinda crazy.
Kreygasm I lost
the botting part of the vid is outdated the ban hammer should only happen after he gets enough gold to sell, to buy 5 extra wow accounts to bot with.
Cause everybody knows blizz is very bad with bod banning!
there must be a visual bug
i changed the mog yet armory shows the previous one
as if it did not update since few days ago?
You look beautiful anyways
thanks
was experimenting while trial of style was active
first time i see armory not updating with the new mog
since few days ago
See if it sorts itself out tomorrow. The forum profile is based on what you have on, on the armory. Fingers crossed it fixes it soon.
thanks
it was the armory not updating with new set
Hi all! Towelliee here!
WoW what an interesting read from my EU m8s!
SO let us clear the air! My main is my BrM (Brewmaster) he is 10/10M CE with Shade on Illidan. I play with RL friends and good peeps. Legit. I am a Mythic Raider before I am a PvP’er.
Now my Paladin is who is more KNOWN obviously has taken a back seat. But he is considered my MAIN ALT. So he was about 216 Item level through Heroic and a couple Vaults. I did PvP with some guildies. Go to 1600 with Prot Paladin/FDK and UDK. Then 1850 with our guild Boomy. Now I like to keep my tanks within good iLvL range. So with 3 weeks of no Heroic drops, and bad vaults, and terrible M+ I paid for a 2100 Boost.
Now for those saying a BOOST is a CARRY. You never have purchased a PvP Boost before to 2100. You literally need to have some sort of previous PvP arena experience AND know what you are doing. You have to be pretty much already geared and ready. I got assigned to a Fire mage who worked with me in Comms. We built a synergy and I learned a lot past the 1800 bracket of Arena. He definitely guided me but I pulled my own weight and made the right moves. By the time we were in the 2k range he didn’t really have to tell me anything we just knew what to do. The boost basically saved me 3 weeks of grinding Arenas and instead this took 48 hours 2 sessions. about 70 matches.
Some other notes. No I did not quit lol. I raid log now weekly and that is about it. I have 6 60’s all the tanks the other 4 are in the 205 range but I don’t bother with them.
Thanks and have good day EU
My theory is that Blizzard run Blazingboost.
They purposely make the game more inconvenient so that there are more things players want to skip, and therefore get boosted in, and so they go to “third party” blazingboost and give more money there. Money which actually goes to Blizzard once again!
I mean if I were an evil, greedy corporate guy with no soul, I know I’d totally do that.
Do you reckon you’ll be able to reach 2100 on your own in the next season/on an alt, then? Just with LFG people. Not trying to be snarky or anything, just curious how much a PvP boostee actually learns during the sessions!
They don’t need to prove anything, though.
I was just asking a question. :<
