If you’re in a position where you’re using LFG/RDF for levelling you’re not in a position to rush to get raiding.
Never seen this rule anywhere. And well my druid has A4 despite being alt, so I deside whom I am going to tank for.
It’s not a rule, it’s just how it is.
If you’re planning on week 1 raiding you already have groups set up to get you there.
At this point when it comes to RDF, I don’t mind either way.
However, the argument against it with ‘‘social aspect’’ isn’t really valid at this point.
Now when you join or make a group and invite people, people don’t socialize. At most people say ‘‘Hello’’ or ‘‘Yo’’, and then people say ‘‘Summon’’, ‘‘Summon me please’’. To whoever is closest. If a summon doesn’t happen instantly, chances are 1 or 2 people will leave without saying anything.
During dungeon, people don’t socialize anymore than they would do with the RDF either, and when done, people at most say ‘‘GG’’ or ‘‘Bye’’.
The majority of ‘‘social aspect’’ with the current LFG tool is mostly negative, people not being allowed to join a dungeon even when they are 2-3 levels above the recommended entry level because they don’t have full epic from level 70 content, and tanks being kicked or flamed for not ‘‘pulling fast enough’’.
However, I have to also add that if my memory does not fail me, there were similar issues to this back in the days when the RDF tool was first implimented with the ‘‘vote to kick’’ function, where people were randomly kicked and ported out, so I don’t know if RDF would actually solve the issue, or just create another.
Either first boss has to die or 15 minutes have to pass before you can, so no this didn’t happen.
They were in the game at the time, and they aren’t destroying the economy wtf?
Well I’ll say my best to try and have as much of it as possible. RDF is to be added, if they don’t it definitely won’t be Classic.
Not true for everyone tho.
In tbc I leveld with friends and we were fast and got all attunements done first week.
Then we could ez join some guild to get raiding, bcs they didnt get a full roster first week.
I’m doing the same this time.
Jesus christ guys stop feeding these pro-RDF people , just ignore them, RDF is not comming back and thank god for that.
So what you’re saying is that you did it with friends and didn’t have to use LFG/RDF.
They were in the game at the time, and they aren’t destroying the economy wtf?
??? They were never in the game and sure asf never was a reward for tanking/healing. Also they did destroy the economy with ores and herbs, as well as giving valuable potions from a profession lol

RDF does need to be added cause the sweaty neckbeards literally gatekeeping normal dungs lmfao

A lot of people seem to paint this picture that WoW pre-RDF was this idyllic place where every time you created a dungeon group you made lifelong friends, then RDF came along and everyone just magically stopped talking. WoW has had a much deeper problem for a very long time which is that it doesn’t encourage, reward or barely even enable social interaction.
RDF was a defining feature of WotLK. Not exactly universally loved at the time, but a key part of the authentic Wrath experience. It isn’t really Wrath without it, even if it launched as late as in patch 3.3.
Personally, the whole joy of the RDF for me was that you could queue and then head out into the world to level, do dailies, gather mats, etc.
And you are certain it was like that in the first iteration? I am not claiming it wasn’t, but I know for a fact that people complained about these things with RDF back in the days aswell, getting kicked from the group by the ‘‘vote to kick’’ system, that is.
Ah, I thought you were talking about the adventurer packs from quests.
Not sure what server that’s happening on, but making your own group and ignoring all the neckbeards is the key to victory.
I guess you’ll have to eat your words and everything else when they do add it.

It 100% is one of the defining features of the game. One of the first things I’d say many would remember about WOTLK is RDF, good or bad.
This is insane, how is it not really wrath with it? This the same nonsense Blizzard came off with that RDF “didn’t feel Classic”. It was part of the game, it belongs in the game.
The quests never did give them either, Go look up any of the old quests that isnt from wowhead (cause wowhead updated the rewards) and you will see u got nothing from it lol
It’s the opposite, LFG really works for the lazy that want to be carried and RDF is literally a random dungeon finder.
It’s alright honey, you’re just lost.
