Norf RP guilds hardly exist because of this ostracism and drama practise they took on. Surely it’s not hard to see why I’m so fervently against the practise now.

I disagree, I think it’s long dead now and I doubt it’ll return anytime soon. Yes two guild wouldn’t qualify as a renaissance
Even House RP that was meme’d on pretty hard for a while by many is still alive. People will always find communities for what interests them and keep it active.

I distinctively remember that people disliked your forum post and disagreed with you due to the fact that after deciding RP wasn’t for you, you then went on to make 7 other alts and remained on the realm and then proceeded to lash out at roleplayers on your forum topic. To my knowledge, you couldn’t see it from our point of view when we tried to tell you the reason as to why we don’t tend to tolerate OOCers, and you began spewing toxicity and then blaming us RPers for it? I believe that’s why at the time, you didn’t have many fans because you slander us then choose to remain on the server and participate in the forum, thus adding more fuel to the fire.

This is a classic “you started it”. No, I did not. I said I rolled on the server and found out RP is not to my liking. People asked “why don’t you transfer”. I explained that this costs money. People kept asking, so I told that I have multiple characters, etc, etc. This just grew long and there was enough of back and forth with the tone getting less and less friendly in both directions that you now remember it as me turning toxic. But in reality, it was both started by not me but other people yelling that OOCers have no place bla bla bla on this realm. And it continued in its vitriolic direction not thanks to me, but thanks to others who were trying to tell me that I am wrong not to transfer / whatever, despite the cost.
I know you probably aren’t going to be convinced. /shrug
You forget the part with your willful ignorance on finding RP and thinking that going to Cath Square to find it is some weird idea out of our reality

I did an experiment, in the open, was flying over and reporting how much RP I was seeing to check whether my impression of it being rare is wrong. I reported what I saw correctly. Turned out RP was rare. Not my fault.
