I think as you’ve admitted yourself, despite not understanding it, most do not want a monumental grind to have to do every month to buy stuff.
Its for cosmetics so yeah, it doesnt give anyone advantage in any end game content even if tmogs happen to be my “real end game”
There is a vast difference between wanting more fair pricing or a greater amount of tender and turning it into a monumental farm every month.
Personally I’d prefer they take a look at the costs so that the tender we currently get goes further.
It’s way way too expensive… I never have enough for what i want and you can only freeze one item.
It suuuxs
The prices should be more sensical, I think all agree on that, makes no sense when we see mount cost 800 and some random nothing not so special weapon costing 800 aswell. Or pets costing 300 and next month 600 and so on. The prices just jump all over the place so they should be more sensical yeah.
I could see also increase in the total amount of currency we get for month, I could also see means put in place for people to grind the currency. Putting some additional small means to gain the currency to these conditions wouldnt be away from anyone and everyone just benefits really.
Yep, more tendies are needed. This month I wanted the horse, the 2 full transmit sets, the fist weapons.
I could only get the fist weapons and 1 of the 2 transmog sets. This is completely underwhelming. And I can’t lock the horse either. I locked some mount months and months ago I don’t even want. But you can’t remove locked items. Other than actually spending the tendies on it…
It’s a good system. But it’s too many goodies for too little currency to buy most the stuff people want.
I actually looked in the shop if there was a way to buy something to get extra tendies. There was none. And actually I am thankful there isn’t.
Some months just have too many cool/fun things you end up blowing all the little amount tendies we get and still not getting what one wanted. Sadness, pure sadness.
Its good thread for good cause and I hope some from blizzard sees it and some sense with it!
You must be new here
Not really, as been playing wow since 2005 now but I see what you mean. Yet there is no reason not to be optimistic or to keep a positive attitude in the hope that something will change.
They don’t need any. They are perfectly capable of coming up with that on their own. And put it into action.
Sadly.
But it wouldn’t be a mandatory grind.
Just because something is enabled by the game doesn’t mean you have to do it if you don’t want to.
They experimented with some shop items and scrapped that. I’d rather not have a pay irl cash solution though.
Yes you can. I just replaced whatever I had frozen last month with the peacock mount yesterday
I wouldn’t say no to more tender each month, though I rarely buy anything because often the transmogs are gimmicky which I can understand like during the Christmas season but that doesnt interest me and I usually find the mounts also ugly and I don’t really care about pets.
But if they did increase tender it would probably lead me to buying more stuff instead of hoarding it like I do now.
I’m not going to say that the Trading Post necessarily has fair costs as I don’t believe it does but at the same time this is a system that costs us no more than before we had it so I’m okay if I’m not able to get everything that I want. I can either wait for it to come back around or just simply get over it.
It might be unpopular but I think some people have just had a taste of something nice and crave much more of it. A few cosmetics on a monthly rotation and some Tender you can obtain easily isn’t something I’d place high on the list of things I’d want Blizzard to concentrate on.
That wouldn’t solve the issue, only push it back until you filled them slots up, too.
The TP in general has recieved a significant amount of extra items and more expensive items since it launched, without Tenders being adjusted. Naturally we started to run out of Tenders.
There are onbly three possible solutions:
1st, adjust pricing policy
2nd, extend the amount of Tenders obtainable from the journal
3rd, sell Tender Bundles again in the store. This is the least desired approach, of course, but not impossible to happen again.
I am sure Blizard is well aware of their “Item/obtainable monthly Tenders-Ratio”.
I think it’d be the same for me. As it is quite a limited amount we can get compared to the cost of items, I get very picky. I don’t mind that, I only choose stuff I genuinely like and know I’ll use, in that sense it works for me. But sometimes I’d like to be able to dabble in ‘maybes’ instead of being such a scrooge lol. I can imagine people who care for mounts, transmog sets and/or pets are struggling quite a bit by now. I think Puny’s solution would be best, to tweak the cost a bit. I’d rather not tempt Blizzard to try it in the shop again.
What if they lowered the costs and increased gains bit and add maybe 1-2 weekly of some task in game that gives 100 tendies? I think all these 3 combined would be pretty fair
But you see this is the actually psychology here. Get the community to complain about the cost ratio to the earnings and then announce that the COMMUNITY asked for it so they have obliged. Either get a monthly pass or purchase them in the store.
Personally I would advocate to allow players to sell them on the AH. Then again 1000 tenders is enough for someone like me who does not actually coveted anything in the TP and rarely actually purchases anything.
Oh you are right, You just drag the item you want in the slot. I was under the impression that there was a button to click that wasnt there
