Maybe blizzard could allow transfer of retail character to classic? Say, maybe a level 110+ retail char to a level 60 with basic green weapon & armor? Just a thought. I have many alts on retail that are unlikely to get any play again & would like to have them on classic without having to level them again. Unlikely I know, but just an idea.

You would have to strip them of everything, imagine the impact of you transferring a character from retail where its raining with gold to classic.
In addition, items in game have changed over the time, so you would not be able to transfer with bag space, etc etc.
So it would rather be a lvl 60 token that you earn in retail for classic?
Yeah I would add, no gold, no professions, just a basic level 60 char with basic level 60 geens & nothing else. Iād still like to have this option. A level 60 token to delete a 110+ would be cool though.
Lvling to 120 takes quarter of the time it takes to lvl to 60 in classic. Also there is lvl boost in retail. No chance that will ever happen.
Imagine a 5 year old DK coming into the game and epic face rolling every1 with their OP spells vs any1 yeah that would be so balance?
And also add flying and LFR while you at it

Well, thereās no Dkās in classic, so obviously not that class. How would a classic char with no gold, professions, or items other than green armor/weapon be OP & facerolling everything? Please explain that reasoning? Iād have to level professions from 1 & go do quests/dungeons etc to gear my character still. & it was just an idea, Iām not desperate for this to happen or anything, but my 110+ alts are just there, Iād be highly unlikely to play them again & once done, no return, say, for example.

Idk maybe flying mounts will be pretty OP vs ppl and they only have 60% speed cmon bring some proof i have a hard time believing this is real
@Kork - I didnāt mention flying either. Obviously classic has no flying, so why mention it. I didnāt mean anything from retail transferring that isnāt available in classic other than the basic character itself.
& before anyone else mentions faction rep etc - reset to zero - none = nothing - start again!
I like the suggestion of maybe a token for a fresh level 60 in exchange for a 110+ character.
But monks and demon hunters will break the meta will be too many leathers and more posts will cry on forumā¦ still waiting on ur proof mr/ms dwarf

I have several level120s on retail, and most of them have been leveled for 2-3 weeks casual gameplay.
I rolled my first toon on Classic on day1. Still havenāt hit level60, currently halfway to 58. Working hard on it.
I donāt want people who donāt have the time/dedication to play the game, to receive level60 boost basically for free.
If retail becomes as hard as Classic, it will be another thing.
I donāt think they should but it should be only classes that existed in Classic and if you are a race combination that didnāt exist you need to change to one that does, and wouldnāt a level 110 be 50ish?

@Quayle - It was only an idea. I have many alts parked on retail, Iām unlikely to go back to. I donāt see any points that it would ruin anyone elses experience of the game.
Letās be clear here - Blizzard has not mentioned this ANYWHERE, nor have I read it anywhere. It simply just popped into my head this morning, whilst I was briefly logged into BfA & looking at my character list.
If someone thinks itās a ridiculous idea, then please explain your points as to why? Donāt just call it stupid, without any reasoned argument.
Time spent leveling a 120 is around the same as a level 30-40 on classic. So you would basicly kill off any leveling in classic with your ābrilliantā idea.
Explain again why you think you should be able to transfer a character from a completely different game? If that is so, i want my runescape character here, time ive spendt on that character should equal a character with full tier 3, thank you

& not exactly the same as transferring from Runsecape is it (whatever that is!) - thatās just a cazy comparison. Theyāre all WoW characters on the same WoW account.
Sorry, but YOUR post makes no sense at all. Tier 3? I put in my original post it should just be with basic gear. (not saying mine does make sense, probably a mad idea!)
btw - I have a level 60 & am leveling alts. Was just a thought people, donāt get your knickers in a twist over it.
