Hey Guys, So golemagg is full as hell, so we are planning to transfer (at least some of us ) but the situation on Dragonfang seems pretty bad based on Census data. Only 498 alliance player were online at 18.20 on weekday (on golemagg there is a 8k que already) . The one’s already transfered. Is it worth it? Is there any world pvp cenarios? I don’t want to transfer to a dead world just to avoid queue.

I think it’s very quiet at the moment but queues don’t seem to be getting much shorter so people may be forced to move at some point. Honestly who knows!! Chicken and egg type question it’s too quiet so people don’t want to go, if enough do the problem will go away but will they?!

thank you for your answer. I’m a bit confused because I have no time to sit in the que as most of my active playtime I spend there, however I do activly participate in world pvp events which is not possible if there are no enemy to come by. Anyway, thank you I’ll sleep on it.
It would be a good thing from blizzard to advise what happens if there won’t be enough player on a realm

being able to play as soon as you log in is worth it.

dragonfang is already a ghost town, the transfer proposal failed. Don’t go there, it’s not worth it.
The queue really sucks though, we’ll just have to wait until it gets better I’m afraid;

More and more chars are moving there and 8k queuers should too.

Honestly I think the server is gonna fill up over time, if people just moved instead of accepting 8k queues as normal then Dragonfang would be a pretty decent server already. I’ve seen people slowly trickle in and it is getting better over time, more guilds are transferring and it’s slowly getting better but it will take some time

None of them are worth it atm. For every new server there are a bunch of threads complaining they’re dead.
In my personal opinion, only allowing transfers and not new characters on them is ridiculously stupid and what causes this exact problem. But that seems like an unpopular opinion. If almost no one is using the free transfer and no one can make new characters there well…the hell did you expect would happen.
I don’t see that Dragonfang is locked anymore and I was able to create a new character there.
Well thats good but I’m not sure it will help. It would seem the majority don’t want to transfer.
It is open to all and yes the server is no were near as active as others atm but ive seen more and more xfer over in the last 2 nights . i honestly think the queues are here for the long term atm so its pick your posion. sit and queue and wait to play or play and wait for groups . but eventually the server will catch up
i’m actively screening the forum to get a clearer picture, but im more confused than ever. ppl calling the server dead, and it cause more ppl to avoid it. Its just a chain reaction which cannot be turned right now. Earthshaker looks promising though. Its a shame that golemagg has to choose dragonfang …

Completely agree. I also planned to move strongly believing the realm would become medium very quickly, but there are too many discouraging posts making people better stay in queues. I don´t really get why these people are doing that. But since they really seem to be that stupid, I have no choice and I will stay on Golemagg as well.
I did the change because my friends already moved. If the server population remains low then im pretty sure blizz will find a solution, so no more queue for me:)
