Low key true tbh
Surely they did it a hundred times in the PTR.
Btw for Europeans the game is not playable in the PTR, with 150ms of latency already a huge disadvantage.
Blizzard, for next phases you need to make PTR servers for each region.
it was so obvious Ulduar is nothing compared to retail raiding.
Isnāt retail raiding really long encounters and just wiping over and over and over for weeks waiting for some players to not mess up? I havenāt bothered with WoW after Cataclysm but I heard about it.
Only in mythic depending on your guild. HC and NHC isnāt that bad
If we talk mythic then not really. Itās more about bosses being released obscenely overtuned and then being gradually nerfed, last race to world first was pretty close between Limit and Echo and then winner was basically decided by Blizzard via last boss nerf timing.
It being cleared in 78 minutes by a bunch of sweaty nerds that played Warmane WOTLK the last 3 years and Ulduar on the PTR for a week straight doesnāt prove anything.
The Hard Modes ARE difficult. The average player is never going to see Algalon.
iām sure in 2023 everyone will encounter Algalon lmao
Average Classic/Vanilla enjoyer:
Thatās why I quit retail mythic raiding. Wiping 200 times because one player messed up is just discouraging and completely anti-fun.
I mean one player, not the same one player.
This is a cool guild. 78 minutes Hm Ulduar is cool. I would like to be in such a guild.
Define difficult with game mechanics from 14y ago.
Then replace that player and send it back to play classic raiding lol.
cant avoid indirect taxes, or u never buy anything
Yeah that sounds awful! I also gathered it seemed to be mainly guilds with a lot of streamers trying to beat each other to get first, which also soundsā¦Iām not sure how to describe it actually, but I donāt approve
Nah. My guild didnāt manage to clear the DPS for Hodir 10M or 25M. No way puggers can.
Between 78-120mins after release, several guilds who spent 30+ hours practicing on the PTR during the prior weeks managed to beat bosses that they had already beaten after 30+ hours practicing on the PTR, that they had already beaten 74 times on 3 different private servers during the last decade.
I actually recognized a few names from private server guilds, like Exander in Progress. People need to stop being surprised that the players who are experts at this content are able to beat it with ease. It would be like being surprised that a Mario 64 speedrunner is actually good at the game and then using their skill as a barometer.
Reading comprehension.
It is, yeah, but HM Mimiron and Yogg 0 is basically the same thing.
Thatās what high end raiding is, having to do mechanics and execute high DPS/HPS.
Yeah thereās nothing impressive about it. The average player is never going to beat Algalon so the difficulty is there.
youāre lowkey [redacted]
