I expected the alliance / horde ratio to be somewhat even, but as it turns out I was wrong about that. That’s really the only complaint that I have, but faction imbalance has a huge impact on WPVP.
I knew it was going to be a gankfest of epic proportions, and while that can certainly be fun, I doubt anyone enjoys an unbalanced realm, neither the gankers nor the ganked.
Blizz should have released BG’s with the honor system.
Actually Vanilla pservers artificially were on a much more difficult patch, in retail Vanilla people weren’t rolling around in epics, hell when honour launched the amount of guilds who had actually cleared MC was extremely tiny.

It will not change the fact I push you on the facts, that I atleast understand the perspective of alot ppl not having fun atm.
15k+ ppl on one realm vs 3k is bollox. Vanilla was way better in that regard for all parties.
Yet you seem not to care much about the game in general, only me me me.

Alright I’ll bite. I’d say I’m a casual player (with deluded hardcore aspirations). I have a demanding job and an even more demanding girlfriend. So when classic came I said hey, f…k em both, and went in balls deep. Which in my situation is playing a couple hours every other day. I am now lvl 56 (ally) and the game is 100%, not being hyperbolic, UNPLAYABLE! I cant level, I cant do dungeons, I cant quest. I can die often and repeatedly and thats my only real option.
What did I expect from playing on a PVP server?
Oh you know, actual PVP, not Player VS Server which is now the case. I expected ganking, griefing and all that jazz. But in between it I also expected genuine moments of narrow outcome world PVP. You know the kind everyone actually wants, the one that requires skill and has you on the edge of your seat. Well I’ve seen a LOT of the former, very little of the latter.
(I also expected that when blizzard says something is coming at the end of the year. That would actually mean end of the year and not early November).
What motivated me to roll PVP?
My friends rolled a PVP server. Also I was constantly told, NAY berated that “If you want the real experience you have to pick PVP you scrub”.
I looked up server populations/proportions and hey they seemed pretty equal when I made my ally. What could possibly go wrong right? I DID MY RESEARCH.
I am now left here held as a hostage. A hostage to the time i’ve sinked into my main. Wanting it not to all have been a big waste of time, I continue. But NOT for long, friends are leaving one after the other. I’ll most likely go soon enough.
Well done people. We killed Classic. Blizzard might have tied it up, but it was freaking we that put the bullet in its head.

Expected exactly this in P2. Doesn’t mean I like it though. When the phases were announced, I was looking forward to P1, P3, P4, P5 and P6 while I pretty much planned for a break during P2. P2 on a PvP server just isn’t a part of classic I enjoy…

What I expected?
I expected Blizzard would maintain healthy player population and reasonable faction ratios.
I also expected players grew some brains after 15 years and they will understand good faction ratio is best for everyone and players will be trying to achieve that.
But in the end Blizzard does not care and most players are stupid kids pretending this is ok and rolled Horde for better racials. 15 years and nobody really learned anything…
