Unhappy players from pvp servers please explain

No I wasnt meaning you. I won’t argue that. I’ve personally never expected it to be like vanilla, always thought it would be like private servers in terms of community.

Edit: and it was like private servers mostly. All you alliance guys say there’s more horde though, which isnt like private servers.

I really do not believe it. Complaints aren’t evidence to me. I want some visual aids showing that your server is unplayable.

I play Noggenfodder which as per latest working census had a 25/75 Alliance/Horde population, I only talk about my own server on population.

However yes, this is more of a pserver than retail Vanilla, which is disappointing, as a pserver experience, Nost did it better.

The idea that horde have more just seems odd to me. The racials; were people really so quick to pick undead for WOTF when already Alliance wouldnt have many warlocks? For a RNG orc racial that is only useful against some classes/specs?

Seems odd, since Alliance racials are clearly superior if you’re thinking of being a tryhard.

Main Blizzard’s fault is no control over faction ratio. They should have defenetly done something with it even not allowing people to choose horde on servers with too much horde. Cruel, but effective.

People thought there would be like 50/50 ration between two factions and wars with enemies of the same lvl. But now some servers are 70/30 and this is not fun at all when 1 poor ally is being chased by 20 horde players.

So, I can uderstand alliance players saying its unplayable now. Especially those who are under 60.

I’m unhappy with alliance players… trying to run from fights instead of helping, often while being more players than the horde… simply letting them win fight after fight

haha not relevant but before Phase 2 that happened to me, I was being chased by two level 50s when I was caught at a bad time; 60 warrior just ran past me /targeting me probably hoping I died. Bastard.

I’m on a PvE server, it’s completely playable.
I dunno where you’re pulling that from.

if your server has 80% of horde and only 20% of your own faction it has nothing to do with wpvp anymore, you cant step outside of your maincity without getting ganked just to get to brd it can take you up to 1h

Thats a raid entrance man

Edit: Show a mid level zone, thats like average playerbase. Will see how bad ganking is for alliance etc

Edit2: well I mean, the more you show in general the better. It shows it’s a real thing.

Its derived from the term “Baby Boomer”, used for the generation born in the late 1940s to 1950s, none of which I imagine are playing World of Warcraft…

Yeah in the joke, it’s just people who are slow to adapt in general. Mad about popularity of fortnite etc. Can be a kid boomer.

What are you talking about? fortnite is the best thing that was created! Those boomers, man…

The thing is… Most people are not here for the journey, but for the end game. How fast can I get 60, how fast can I get geared, and how fast can I get my honor up. Not thinking about what your actions will end up in. A lot of people that were here for the journey can’t enjoy that and are forced to go for the end game.

They have fun now ganking alliance on most servers. But these people will slowley leave, and the horde ends up with less and less to kill. And when the BG’s are added they will have insane queue times, so to keep getting honor, they need to keep doing the wpvp ganking.

Classic could never be the same as vanilla. First of all people know the game, know where to go. And use this to their advantage to do this as fast as possible. Also the mindset of the players is different. I see a lot saying “boomers”. If they would look into that, that is a generation before the generation they are calling boomer.

I understand both sides. And none of them is wrong. At least that is my oppinion. I just think that Blizzard should’ve added BG’s together with the Honor system to have the slightest chance to make it work.

I’m afraid alliance will leave, and therefore make it unplayable for horde. At least the pvp aspect.

Did I expect this to happen? Probably. Did I hope it would not happen? A lot. But there are just too many variables that have an influence. I’m just unhappy that Blizzard did not do a lot about the variables they had full control over.

Sorry if my English is not that great, hope you understand. And just my opinion, and maybe I’m wrong.

To put it simply, I didn’t roll on a PVP server.

I rolled on a RP-PVP server. It’s a roleplaying server with elements of PVP. So I expected much more roleplay than PVP, ganking and jerks who laugh at people RPing.

I didn’t get what I applied for, and I want to transfer to a regular server.

LOL.
Alot has todo with this idd. (/sarcasm)
You’re a kid, thats what most ppl got out of it.
Nothing to do with this discussion in general.

People expected everyone to be retarded and unorganized like back in 2005.
Everyone who has played on a newly launched private server knew exactly what was going to happen.

What is your realm?

And thus my point. Classic WoW is a pay to play private server.

Very well put Orcbama, I am experiencing the exact same. Lvl56, re-rolled 3 times due to various reasons. I love to PvP but I am now stuck on a server where I am not even able to leave the inn in Silithus before im torn to peaces by +5 hordes.

Result: Cancellation of sub (ending Dec. 9th if it doesnt improve).
I can live without WoW and Blizzard can live without me. Life goes on and what happened 15 years ago is just a dream of a different time, haha.
