Kind of hard without concept art at least, but the Wandering Ancient sounds the best. Glad it is winning.
I am very sad that the Caterpillar is the least popular on EU, the Nerubian Swarmer sounds the most boring to me.

I nearly went ancient…nearly…
But the idea of riding a colourful catapillar was too tempting…
I know some people are sceptical “blizz will add the losers as store mounts Hur dur” I kinda hope they do, there’s a few here I think are pretty cool ideas and wouldn’t mind owning. Don’t get bias against store mounts, let people spend their money on what they want.
Not particularly bothered by the gooey saber by the sounds of it, nor the nerubian one.

the sentient Wandering Ancient seems more original and unique for me

it really does have the potential of a colourful, quirky, whimsical mount, all the other mounts are rather basic sounding to me.

This was my reasoning.
Ancient is unique, but riding golem is in game in a few forms.

Nerubian, pretty sure we have some? I have a blood tick which I think is the model anyway?
Book, pretty unique granted, but that surfing animation…argh.
But a catapillar like the silk worms in jade forest or valley? That’s cool. We don’t have a ground worm mount that scuttles, and if it’s brightly coloured, that’s awesome. I’d actually really like that for my gnomes.
Be even better if it turns into a butterfly or moth when flying but I doubt it.
Very sad to see it’s near the bottom, I hope they add it somehow. Not sure I’d buy the others but the catapillar may tempt me if it comes up. This said the ancient is a very worthy choice and it does sound amazing.

exactly. as tempting as the sticky kitty is, i do prefer the caterpillar.
tbh they all have potential of looking good, but the caterpillar is truly unique imo.
edit: i mean, in the end, its a free mount, so i wont complain.

Having pictures would have been helpful.
I just have images of the goosaber being a felsaber with a slightly green coating in my head, which switches me off it. The only cat mount I like is my mechanocat and that’s largely because I can paint it

yeah but i think they only brainstormed and dont have any prototypes yet. even if they have and published them, they are still subject to change and that would only get people upset because its “not what they voted for” when it turns out different.
yeah, thats what turned me off as well. i have this image of a green zulian tiger in my head for some reason, which i find really unappealing. 
just the fear of them being all some sort of recolours is turning me off a little.
but i think somewhere in the article they mentioned they will be unique mounts so…i ll just sit back and see, its a free mount after all and i dont have to use it.
