When i hover my mouse over the back of the mount ( on top of the back maybe half way between rider and end of the tale) i see cogwheel kind icon and when i click it it summons the questgiver. But i have to be landed (on the ground) for him to appear. Sometimes he appears right where i am and is hard to see cause mount covers him.
Farmed from 14 to 40 in about two hours at the Blood Gate with a group of 5.
This. It’s kinda silly that it works well like this, but… ah well.
For those who don’t want to grind; just do what you normally do and eventually you’ll get it. Yeah, you will have to be patient then.
I feel I have been trolled, I have to admit.

i just received word on my ticket about this. blizzard is looking into it and they are probably gonna increase the drop chance

Only response i got was “Check wowhead for how to do the quest”, and if i didn’t agree with the droprate i needed to put in a bug report…
Appears to be a cooldown on it. Yesterday I got 7, then no more.
Today I got 4 at once, then no more.
so it looks like this will be a total waste of time to try and farm them in one go.
i guess its designed to give a few everyday, so just log in each day and kill mobs until you get the 1-10 echo drop.
after 5-6 hours i’m at 28/40.
its bit pain … droprate is very very low.
I got 7 yesterday from first group of mobs, got 6 today from first group of mobs and tried to farm for 1 hour and got only one and give up, its daily grind i guess.
Just hit 40/40 and got the set. Stay strong and keep grinding, folks! You’ll get there!
Seems bugged for some people. 3 hours of farming today. 4 from the first pack, 0 additional ones.

Agree, the effort needed for this is just too damn high.
If it were a hour of so farm I would not mind, but I have gotten only 4 thus far.
Sure this is a unique transmog set, I would not have mind the hard grind if I hadent basicly paid money to get it. When I read it befor I did my purchase I thought it would be a small fun quest chain to do while watching Blizzcon. But after 2 hours and only getting 1, it was a pritty hard /rq. It’s not even a fun grind tbh.
But I have bug reported it already for the low droprate and unfun gameplay for it. More people should do it so they act on it.
Sure some people has already got it by now, but realy how fun was that grind?
I got four in one drop yesterday, then a further a few hours later. Today I’ve had nothing.
I have tried following the discussions on here and reddit and wowhead but nothing seems to work.
Although clearly some seem to have figured something out and are getting the set. Seen the odd one or two but neither willing to share how.

but even here they have to boost their MAU making this effectively w nearly 2 weeks long quest.

they will do anything humanly possible to boost MAU.

Bugs are bugs, this is clearly not intentional. Dont presume that everything is to lenghten the played time.

Good to know its a low drop rate.
Seeing as this is a feature from the new expansion which is maybe a year away from release I dont mind just picking up a few echoes whenever they drop.
