I think they were in the Shadowlands Dressing Room, but I can’t find them now, so either they were in an earlier version and now removed, or I mistook some of the old tentacle-less ones for new variants.
What you’re saying is also an opinion though ? And as I said earlier and Tiabeanie also agreed , void elves should get new things , not existing ones from another race.
I don’t think night elves are superior in any way. I’ve always disliked them being part of the alliance, mostly because they were their own faction in WC3 (and I kind of wish WoW had been a 4 faction game - Horde, Alliance, Night Elves and Undead).
As for their models; I greatly prefer the blood elf model. But like I mentioned; taste.
True. Like they say, the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.
I prefer Night elves model (and with SL customization of Nelves I’m POSITIVELY DROOLING) but I also dislike the alliance (and more importantly alliance PLAYERS as nearly every single one I’ve met in 10+ years of WoW was awful), so I mostly play belf and orc females. Nightborne looked cool on paper, but they had literally no customization so I didn’t switch.
We can’t have everything that we want. The only hair color I can see added to the Void elves is either white or black. The natural blonde or brown ones are never going to make it because it will take the uniqueness away from Blood elves.
If you really want Blonde hair, then play a Horde.
Just do what I would do, pick the natural skin tone, grey hair, and blue eyes, and you’ll have a high elf.
Although me personally I’m choosing Dark blue hair.
Sorry, but I just disagree with that.
One or 2 shades of blonde will not take away their uniqueness. That’s just silly.
Do you know how silly that sounds?
I’ll see. I already have a max level void elf hunter. I’ll play around with customization in Shadowlands. But I would really like a non grey, non blue color. And preferably a little more choice in non-tentacled hair. Non-edge lord. Just something a bit more classy.
A grey haired, blue eyes Hunter is basically Vereesa. Get the Silver covenant tabard and you’ll have a High elf looking elf. That’s what I’m planing to do, but mine will have a Dark blue hair.
It’s not about those options specifically. I just want a GOOD looking (to me anyway) void elf character. At the moment that’s impossible.
All of them look like goths or edgelords. I don’t want that.
That’s basically what the race is about. You realize even if you look normal outside of combat you’ll still turn voidy when combatting.
Again, I feel like you really want the girly blonde elves which are already in the game on the horde side.
Adding them to the Alliance will be a mess. Just look at this thread. Half of the comments are arguments between horde and alliance complaining because we got normal skin color, let alone if they added hair colors it would’ve been Ww3 in these forums lol.
I’m happy that we got normal skin and blue eyes. It’s something I’ve always wanted. But let it stop there, no need to add normal hair colors unless it’s something gothy like black that can work for both normal skin and void skin. Otherwise I can’t see blonde hair added at all.
I don’t really care about that. I like what I like.
And I don’t want to play any more horde (except as a rare alt). I’ve played them for years and horde is boring and it has more of the type of players I loathe; tryhards.
Well, to each their own. I don’t think it’s enough. Certainly not because most allied races ‘shipped’ with WAY WAY WAY too few options.
There’s no faction logic.
If I had it my way, factions would be a thing of the past.
This whole ‘hostility’ thing is so old it’s not even funny.
It’s time for cooperation.
Imo ofc.
Well, it’s good to understand someone else’s views. Even when you fundamentally disagree.
Ps; I saw a nice white hair color among the new human haircolors coming in Shadowlands.
not to pick at it but in regards to racials, the belf racials are terrible, what is it? enchanting bonus and a gutted arcane torrent that used to be useful but now is never used by anyone
the velf ones are supremely better in all siuations, more damage proc, spell casting immune to melee, half price transmog
in almost all aspects the velf are better - so I don’t understand why people can’t see the justified anger from the belf stand point
The Grass is always greener on the other side. I saw some high elf fans wanting that Arcane racial.
I personally don’t care about racials, never really looked at them.
But the belf anger is mostly because we got some normal skin tones, which can make us appear to be High elves with void colored hair. The anger isn’t justified became its only skin color that’s borrowed, nothing else. And this was done so to make them look like high elves, but with void colored hair.
Blood elves will surely get more stuff.
And I’m not gonna back and forth with this.
I already made a forum for the Blood elf customizations. If you wanna see anything added to the Belfs, feel free to comment there.
But this constant Belf vs Velf thing is starting to be annoying.
Both of them are cool in my eyes. I will surely create both toons based on the different customization I’ve seen.
