i’m just trying in vain to get you people to understand why belf fans are annoyed at this stuff and that its rightfully so
Void Elves: Gets Blood Elf customizations, because alliance whines about not being able to play a race that is on Horde.
Blood Elves: Does not get Void Elf customizations, current Blood Elf playerbase complaining about this unfair treatment: treated as whining.
Alliance playerbase claim: Horde bias.
Also forgot: allied races were not supposed to get any new customization options at the beginning of shadowlands to begin with.
Also Void Elves: Gets customization options in the beginning of Shadowlands… because Horde bias.
I’ve already been over this. Scroll up. There’s plenty.
And this thread is about customization. Not racials. If Belf players want better racials, they should make a thread about that.
What part of Blood elf customization did they get OTHER than skin color? By all means explain…
Do they have the natural hair colors? NO
do they have the hair styles? NO
Do they have demon hunters and Paladins? NO
do they have Green eyes or yellow eyes? NO
Do they have the blood elf racial? NO
The ONLY thing that was borrowed was the skin color, to make them look like HIGH elves. Which blood elves got too by the way.
It’s something horde players will never understand. They always cry Alliance bias lol
Whenever someone suggests blonde hair I would always be against it, because I want blood elves to be unique. Yet even with the normal skin they still complain… it’s like they want us to have nothing High elf at all!!!
there isn’t plenty, you keep stating these minor things but as I’ve already said before the racial aesthetic is 99% of why people play a belf.
if you’re frustrated put yourself in their shoes for one moment and understand your complete lack of ability in seeing their point of view is more frustrating
That’s not why, but nice try.
Of course. It’s like if tauren players would start asking for antlers.
It doesn’t make sense.
But void elves ARE basically just blood and high elves who’ve ‘converted’ so to speak. So remnants of both those races are bound to be there.
Logic.
Any bias claims toward a faction are just stupid.
So? Blizzard don’t keep their word all the time.
You sound salty. Care to share your troubles?
You realize they got the customization early Because they planed on Giving Blood elves blue eyes, and to balance it out they showed that both void elves and blood elves would get it.
I’m not frustrated. I don’t care.
Void elf is an alt for me. At best.
I don’t care. But I’d LIKE those options I mentioned.
And I think it’s beyond petty to whine about it not being fair.
Blood elves are NOT fair. Blame Blizzard and their asian metrics.
So yeah…
Special little princess you are, hmm?
And what void elf customization did the Blood Elves get?
Sadly blizzard is taking away every bit that actually made the Void Elves unique, the normal skin tones are taking away that one physical trait that makes them look generally unique.
Which is why I preferred that blizzard actually went with some of the fan creations that I have seen, that gives the Void Elves largely normal skin tones, but with void-touched hands and feet.
Void Elves are Void Elves, and they should look the part one way or the other. They even have alternatives to the glowy hairstyles, once again, taking away what makes a Void Elf look like a Void Elf.
It is a great shame, and I am sad that blizzard have chosen that route because of a couple of Alliance players whining about not being able to play a Horde race on Alliance.
I wasn’t replying to you and you sound like you have a lot of anger
bitterness is unbecoming
I guess I did accidently reply to your post, my fault
Correction, alliance race. (HIGH ELVES).
And even with the normal skin, you forgot they still have void colored hair, and turn voidy when in combat. The “void” is not taken away from the void elves.
Honestly, I hate it when someone suggest that a customization needs to be taken away when it actually makes some people happy. If you don’t like it, don’t play it lol.
high elves are not an alliance race… 99% of them are Horde,
the alliance simply has a handful of dissidents
that doesn’t make them an alliance race
It’s still there. The option to pick it is there. You’re being so, so silly.
Void elf = blood elf with void extras.
Blood elf = void elf MINUS void extras. So. Please. Stop. Being. Stupid.
Which is ugly as all hell. No thank you.
They CAN. Why force that ugly look on them for those who don’t want it?!
High elves are not a horde race.
Not talking about blood elves here. High elves. Actual high elves. Still around. And some of them became void elves.
Those are blood elves. Calling them a high elf would be an insult. Same as vice versa.
no no it wouldn’t that’s their race - they’re all high elves, what they name themselves is simply a political decision, it does not change their race
Actually it does.
There’s a handful of Mag’har who joined horde. It’s a race.
There’s a handful of void elves who joined alliance. It’s a race.
What Blizzard calls a race is very ehm… open to interpretation.
that handful of mag’har is the bulk
the void elves are physically CHANGED
Horde fanboy doesn’t know Blood Elf lore, what a surprise!
It’s about 60-80% of former High Elves that are Horde after changing their name to Blood Elves, and the remainder are High Elves and Void Elves in the Alliance, or Neutral.
High Elves are in the Alliance, you can cry about it but they’ve been there since WC2 and haven’t gone away.
Horde race.
The High Elves were a part of the Alliance for a two wars. Have been a part of the Horde for multiple wars and several years by now.
As mentioned, they have alternatives. Not so sure about the females tbh, seeing as they generally have long hair.
Stop hating it then, and realise that it takes away from the race being what the race is. Like making Blood Elves tauren-sized, even making them bulkier as they are now takes away from what they were supposed to be… I still hate that. Hell, some even felt that giving them blue eyes would take away what they were, because for some reason they never really cared about High Elven lore to begin with.
They take the things away that makes a Void Elf a Void Elf from a visual perspective, I could care less about gameplay mechanics.
I really only give a pass to Highmountain tauren, Lightforged Draenei and Mag’har orcs, because they at the end of the day are part of the same faction as their mother-races.
I am well versed in blood elf lore, i’ll not be spoken down to by some scrote that crawled out the woodwork
be gone pest
