Now there’s quite a few people that want to chime without having read most of the comments, so I will probably repeat myself a bit in this post.
Right off the bat let me make it clear that none should be harassed for having an opinion regarding how to obtain mounts. Some people like a grind, some want it fast, respect that and stay civil.
@Tifa, True, there are plenty of mounts that costs more than Hogrus. Discussing price is not the point at all with this post. Rather, it’s how rewards that could incentify playing the game’s content - like - the Lunar Festival are being sold on the store instead. True enough we have achievements and toys for collecting coins, but mounts are especially lucrative to many and getting something new to chase each year would be great.
@Punyelf, No need to apologize for repeating what other’s have said already, all input is good input. Of course, if I had to choose between there being no pig and a store pig I would’ve picked the store pig. But as I’ve stated earlier, in my opinion the game needs more incentive to do content where you can bump into players, and felt like this was a good opportunity. Glad you’ve enjoyed the farm this year though!
@Canabal, I think you understood what I meant completely wrong, maybe that’s on me, maybe that’s on you. But to make it clear, I disagree with you on that a customer’s opinion shouldn’t be valued.
How much you should care about it is one thing, but value? Sure there.
@Bartak, then this mount fits you perfectly! I’m glad it’s not a negative for everyone involved.
@Tifa, on your comment regarding span between mounts; if they release one often enough to mimic a free to play game I think they should consider that instead, especially if the backlash from the community is going to be like this every time, looking at the youtube video’s dislike ratio.
@Søssky, I for one am completely okay with charity pets and mounts stay up for sale after the charity event has ended. I agree that they should focus more on pleasing the playerbase rather than fast and effecient revenue from mounts. Especially looking at it long term as you mention yourself.
