Honestly, yes, at least then the store wouldn’t need to exist, but what I really want is for lunar festival inspired mounts to be part of the lunar festival in game event.
Optionally it should be available to anyone who has had any subscription rolling for 6 consecutive months.
The very idea that wanting things to be available in game is a point of contention among some is what bothers me the most.

I do have store mounts, actually. Funnily enough I was so pissed about them years ago that guildmates gifted them to me:^)

Will and can do. In 12-13 years of WoW this is my first real venture into the forums, excuse my hotheaded attitude.
It’s just that this is a topic that is very dear to me, because I simply hate seeing World of Warcraft go the direction that Gaming is taking nowadays, whereas I always thought I could trust Blizzard to exactly not do that.
Legion was full of moaning and whining how it was unfair how class X has better mount than class they are playing and how blizzard developers are idiots for not giving them what they personally want.
I think you are talking to a person who has a rep for being one of the most hot headed females on the forum and it is good to show your views and beliefs .

I think store would still exist just the reward mounts would not be buyable there.

The entitlement of people these days. You have so many mounts available ingame, im pretty sure if you got this one ingame you would never use it. It’s a simple bonus for people who sub for 6 months.
If it is “simply a bonus” - why does the page have 2 purchase now buttons?
If I remember rightly the only complaints I saw back in legion were that palas and locks just got another horse.
Otherwise people really liked class mounts.
The DK mount questline is still my favourite questline.
I bought the 6 month sub last time with the mount, but refunded it shortly after. Now I have bought many store mounts in the past but I can’t lie… I really regret it now.
I never use them because they have no meaning to them, and everyone knows you’re supporting the game (even when it’s not in too good a state and none of the funds are likely going into making the game better).
Leave rewards in for recruit a friend, otherwise let all earn mounts wihin the game itself.
They get enough from subs, expac sales and token sales, and this is pure greed sprinkled on the top to add insult to injury with the game being in the worst state it’s ever been in (imho).
Yes and from druids who didn’t even get a mount that counted towards there collection but a flight form that looks like they flew into a window and squatted there nose .
And they’ll keep doing it if you keep giving them your money.
I mean I liked the druid form. It did have a flat face but that just made it very owl-like. As for it not counting towards mount collection does that really matter??
Not that much - because if you cared about your mount numbers you had to / have to do all the class quests anyways because they do all count towards the Achievement.
The rewards they done for the new system are great but they are not open to anyone ingame either sadly .If I was still multi boxing it would be so easy to do and I would do it .
As for the store mounts I have been gifted one and its from a very close and good friend so I do use it and will always use it as to me it has a meaning .
Does for me when i’m a mount collector and no idea why you are being so obtuse towards me

I remember when people suggested to put these mounts in the store because initially they were for the China region only.
