What about clones?

Yes, my ideal would be for them to allow faction transfer, but if not that, at least allow all horde that are there to move to the same single server. If horde players prefer a pvp horde-only server to a pve mixed server then that’s ok with me.

That’s right we pay a sub fee

And then Blizzard wanted a further 15 euros (originally 30) to be able to unlock the character people just spent 1.5 years playing if they also wanted to play TBC with their friends

See where the milking comes in? I bet you think they were being generous creating server clusters and everyone should be made to pay for a realm transfer to the most popular server as well

Nice try Bobby but you don’t need another yacht

Faction transfer? Meaning all realm one faction or what?

And again you are on all about money.
Sure, they want money, they run a server, it has its cost, who would do that for free? And for lousy 15€

But sure, it is always big bad wolfs fault, if it is easier for you.
Admitting playerbase is just not interested anymore in classic era is just too much, I guess.

What does it matter if they are billion dollar company or small studio? They suddenly need to give away their IP for free?

If Gates and I sit for a drink and he needs to pay for all rounds just because he is rich? No way, I would insist for us both to pay equally

Who would do that for free? A company that values its players happiness over short term profits, sometimes a little good faith can go a long way

You should know everything isn’t about profit in the world of business

Are the players not interested in classic era, maybe. Or do they feel spit on and refuse to pay a “lousy €15” for something that I feel should be included in the sub fee?

That’s a terrible analogy. You offer to pay for Bill’s because it’s polite. You aren’t offering to pay £15 to clone a character because it is polite, it’s a (overpriced, should be free) service.

If I have a choice between having to pay £15 x 4 or buying a new game, I’m going to buy the new game and stick to TBC :man_shrugging:

And who’s going to pay the £15 in order to actually play on the classic era… knowing the population is very low?
Especially if you wish to play with multiple characters…
I would’ve gone back to classic now and then :man_shrugging:
But… I’m not paying several £15 clones just to play it every so often lol.

Not this at all.
I had fully BiS in p3/p6 for example, does this mean that I can get all my gear instantly and not even need to raid?
It’s pointless and ruins the progression.

I mean, this would be good.

That was an answer to seussa due to his previous comment about billion dollar company should give everything for free.

This is nice, romantic view on world of business. It just doesnt work that way.

This just shows you dont care about classic, you would want just a game on the side to wait for you to play once a month.
Unlike some people here who would want it as main game, but for free just because Blizzard is big company.

But why should I have to pay £60 in order to play the game?
Let’s see all the clones that you’ve purchased then?
Blizzard literally was going to charge £30 for these clones, now they’re £15.
They’re just extra profit for Blizzard.

£15 for the whole account to be cloned? - Maybe.
Not per character.

It is 15€ per character just ONCE. And thats it.
And 15€ sub for three different versions.
Sounds generous to me.

Spoiled kids

not so generous it’s expensive

^ Prime example of why Blizzard adds stuff like this.
Let’s see your cloned characters, shall we?

This is pretty much always the case with a realm that you are not part of on day 1. When classic came out, I had 2 weeks early then a month break. The realm moved so far ahead of me I was pretty much on my own then, which was also why I just didnt bother playing anymore.

This will happen again for many once they realize that the streamer guild is at Naxx while they just hit 60.

This is where classic era is good, it simply put doesnt matter where you are in the game, there is an endpoint and sooner or later you will reach that and there will always be players like you.

Right now, I am playing and have no issues to find someone to quest or dungeon with. I enjoy this and that is why fresh is not interesting for me, at all.

Which comes down to the old issue of names. Unless Blizzard comes up with a solution to multiple names, fresh will run havoc among the community. I know many who were happy to have gotten their name on classic era on one of the many realms, they do play almost daily now and dont want to go through this again, especially if fresh is a single realm only.

It is playable, I am not sure why you think its not. Maybe you are playing to very odd hours, but if you play on normal hours (not at 3 AM) then there are enough players to play with.

But this is really not true. On my realms people do raid, just the pvp aspect is a bit limited at low level and there is no BG hopping going on, but hey this is not bad is it?
If you are in an AV; it usually is the only AV and people truly try to win it and not afk in cave. I like that!
