The High Elves who created it are in control of the city, you know them as Belfs. And it’s robbery because you are using them as Alliance to take over a Horde city. Look, I’m not gonna play word games with you over this.
Again, Garrosh was not an orc supremacist. If you weren’t an orc you had to prove your ability to him.
And no, it wasn’t Horde propaganda. Are you rp-ing or something cause it’s cringy. I’m talking about the literal event as seen in game. What you are saying here is simply not true, it’s actual propaganda. But if we are applying that logic then nobody is a victim, especially the nelfs who burned. But we aren’t applying it, are we? The double standard. The Alliance is always good.
The Blood Elves are a member of the Horde. The High Elves are not.
The High Elves still exist and are the ones that created the country of Quel’Thelas. The High Elves and Blood Elves still has their own rivalries and have clashed with each other.
Should they make any stake on Quel’Thelas then there could be Blood Elf aggression and they might involve the rest of the Horde as a member. There is a friendship there. Look at how the Blood ELves treated their own? The Purple Blood Elves that dabbled in the Void stuff.
Even if they build another city and shared the country there is no gurantee of no Blood Elf aggression.
Oh come on. He kept dreaming of an Orcish Horde during a time where the Horde was not just Orcs. If you were not an Orc then you were expendable.
Look at for example Mists of Pandaria campaign. The callousness in which Blood Elf lives was spent in his campaign is part of the reasons why Lothermar Theron was in active negotiations with High King Varian Wrynn at the time.
I am not a role player. I am talking about in-game events. The Blood Elves that did not resist was placed in the violet hold. Reports of the Alliance / Horde champions can not be verified.
Kul Tirans are not a part of the Alliance at the time these events took place. The Silver Covenant is but one force of High Elves. High Elves are also not a part of the Grand Alliance.
So to blame the Alliance for events that happened with the more popular term “purge of Dalaran” is no different to blaming the Alliance for the global domination of High Exarch Yrell and her Draenai forces on alternate Draenor. Blame the Alliance for everything does not stand up to scrutiny.
Teldrassil was captured as the Horde army faced a poultry force of city guards. Police officers vs Soldiers if you will. When left to the “mercy” of the Horde the Night Elves were burned alive. Many reports of Alliance Champions tried to save who they could but the Night Elves were genocided. An act that the Alliance historically never inflicts on the Horde.
You have to be specific about the “double standard” you refer to. Kul Tirans and Jaina Proudmoore rejoined/joined the Alliance at the Battle for Azeroth during the 4th War.
The thread is about the “crimes” of the Alliance. Looters at the military campaign to secure Camp Taurajo were exterminated by Alliance forces. What else is there?
Why would the Belfs involve the rest of the Horde to remove a handful of dissidents who would not last a second against the belfs. Consider that these guys could have been gutted when they started mouthing off at the Belf leadership back before TBC. They were exiled instead.
But again, I wanna shine a light on the stupidity of your argument. If the Alliance were to get involved in their internal politics, via the helfs, something that even the Horde does not do, why the hell would they allow that in the first place? Why would they open their doors to helfs? You really think everyone is just that stupid huh?
Anyway, I’m not gonna bother debating the Sunreaver massacre when I actually did that questline myself and saw the event.
That is not your place to say. Blood Elves can not deny the High Elves claim on the country they founded.
The High Elves are not the push over that the Blood Elves believe them to be. Even after their prince died Blood Elves have been dying like flies. But High Elves not just of the Silver Covenant have a very real presence.
Not an exile there was a schism. High Elves did not follow Prince Kael’thas Sunstrider, did not feed on the fel and so on.
Time will tell. Should the High Elves as a people play a larger role in the World of Warcraft. They could return to their home.
The Helfs are a joke. An anti belf plot device. The kind of weak stuff that impressed people like you. They were added as a counter to the belfs in WOTLK and MOP, being all angry with the belfs to the point were they try to murder them to the last. Again, for no real reason. They are not only pushovers, they are a joke that’s been dead since MoP.
They are closer to the Wildhammers and Bronzebear Dwarves though.
Incorrect again. Silver Covenant is just one of the High Elf forces but despite their numbers. They have match Blood Elf forces in Northrend - Assisted the Nightborne to retake Surumar city - Helped Jaina pacify Horde dissidents in Dalaran. Few High Elves even made it into the 7th Legion of the Alliance.
The Tauren are few in number as well. But Voljin’s rebellion could not have been done without them.
High Elves never turned their back on what they once was. That was the Blood Elves. Who now turn their back on their fellow Purple Blood Elves.
But lets go back to the focus of the thread. The “crimes” of the Alliance.
Tauren did nothing all the time. Their leader Baine got them in many bad situations and always failed to protect them from evil. The death of Bovan shows that very well.
And the Sunreavers alone outnumber the Siver Covenant with ease. If it wasn’t for Jaina on their side the blood elves of Dalaran could have kicked the SC in their shimmies.
LOL be serious now. Even with Mages teleportation. Jaina could not be EVERYWHERE at once. Silver Covenant defeated the Blood Elves at Dalaran. They also fought the Blood Elves to a stalemate when Lei Shen had to be put down again.
Blood Elves underestimating the High Elves due to numbers would lead to another Blood Elf defeat.
The death of Bovan Windtotem. This came back to the rivalries between the Centaur and the Tauren. Aponi Brightmane still remembers Tauren defeat by Centaur was it not for the Horde intereference. The Alliance does not underestimate the Tauren. Even if some Horde would.
Those that surrendered and were not attacking Jaina was not harmed. Besides there were many powerful Horde war mages present. The goal was to secure the city not wipe out the Blood Elves.
Despite the numbers it seems clear that High Elves have little problem dealing with Blood Elves.
The strong mages send by Rommath to hold the city center until we evacuated the best of them and killed all present Officers who inprisoned Aethas. It was a small victory but the brightest Sunreavers are alive and apart from Aethas himself are among the mos patriotic elves you will ever see.
Really, show me more High Elf forces alligned with the Alliance. In fact show me more High Elf forces in general. And by force, I do mean force.
And by the way, those few helfs that made it into the 7th legion, that’s the WHOLE Silver Covenant.
But that’s not why they are a joke. They are a joke because they show up when the Belfs have a story to play that does not even concern the Alliance or anyone else in any way and the helfs go “grr I hate belfs so much I want to kill them all for no real reason”. They did this in Northern and in MoP, then they stopped cause it was so stupid.
I think you might be unfamiliar with Dark Iron culture. Traditionally, our territory is wherever we happen to be standing. This might clear up some misunderstanding about Dazar’alor.
If the Horde was smart. They would interrogate a few Bronze Beards and Wildhammers. But the Bronzebeard daughter would have us pull their butts out of the fire.
Incorrect. Individual High Elves qualified into the 7th Legion not the entire Silver Covenant. The Silver Covenant are still an independent force.
Or it is a rivalry between High Elves and Blood Elves since their schism.
But I see you in the High Elves thread. They are invested in their return to the Alliance.
Says who? After MoP there hasn’t been any news or even mention about your helfs. None. And ok, tell me where it says that individuals joined cause all I found said the Silver Covenant joined the 7th legion.
And whose return to the Alliance are you talking about?
I will explain it this way.
Blood Elves are a very strange bunch. Turning their back not just on all that they once was but their history as well.
High Elves have a strong history with what would become the Alliance and even after the founding of the Grand Alliance and even the Alliance of Lordaeron.
When High Elves had problems with Zuljin and the Amani humas of Arathor answered and in exchange they taught 100 mages the ways of magecraft.
When the Horde invaded Azeroth the High Elves stood with the Alliance against the Horde in several wars.
Now the Blood Elves stand with the same Horde they once fought against. Followed Illidan becoming puppets and vassals.
High Elves returning to their country and a return to the times where they stood together with the Alliance defending Quel’Thelas from threats.
Arathi Highlands could be a good point to gather High Elf strength and numbers.
Sharing Quel’Thelas or relocating the Blood Elves could be explored.
