What wll WOTLK bring without RDF?
Pain and suffering.

Yea, You can check it too. Luck of the draw was a 5% non stackable buff in WotLK. It was made stackable up to 3 times (for a total of 15%) in Cataclysm.
Yeah it seems %15 comes with Cata. Thank you for pointing out the only thing I was wrong about on that huge wall of text
I think it’s more about technical coding issues.
Blizzard has no competent developers left, and there are some trooubles porting retail random lfg system to wrath client. So they just called it non wrath experience. Sounds kinda stupid but that’s what modern blizzard is.
Its good that RDF will not be in WOTLK-classic, the game is much better without it.
That is a subjective statement.
But it is !
Then explain us why tho? Make people understand your point of view or just say vague and subjective comment like that.
Because when not having RDF ppl have to write things in a world chat (and responses in whispers). And when doing that you can detect/suspect things from what they write and respond. And thus the interactions have begun, and through interactions you can form opinions about players etc, which naturally is interesting.
LOL
“LFM1M this and that, HR item, 5.5k GS required, Curve achievment required”
Very social and inclusive.
I sense that you are pretty much geared please take me to HCs with you got 2.9k gs just dinged and have no idea what I am doing.
I think he wants this xd imagine not wanting RFD to see spams on trade chat.
I mean 99% of “socializing” happens in the guild, rarely u socialize with ppl outside the guild unless u have poop talk on “barrens” chat that /4 actually is atm…so I completly dont understand this “socializing” argument.
The problem with guild is that, You cant force them to do dungeons with You at any given time, so RDF solves that. Queue on RDF, do some dungs, GG, bye. Logout, do some more productive stuff. Instead u waste ur sub time on spamming and LFMing for group for 30-1h for a dung that lasts 15 minutes xD. Ridiculous waste of time, unless You are unemployed and on welfare.
Well if that’s the case you LFM for random dungeons in chat even with RDF is there and socially interact with people and have amazing conversations with it.
So much I could say about this, HR(hard reserve) isnt valid, since Blizz hasnt said it could be valid(or implemented game-mechanichs to support this), so entering runs you may roll on reserved items without breaking any code or whatever. (In most 5man runs this is poss, in raids most often ML is put on so you cant roll need, thats just reality). Point is reserving is ninja’ing, no matter what.
And that is just one thing, there are so many other things to detect, smell, etc. The game is rich enough on facets, details, you name it, that the most rutine writings in chat (can) become interesting.
I guess You were living under the rock for the past X years.
HR is and will be a thing. If You played caster I assume You remember HR on trinket from SP HC I assume it will be even worst in WOTLK when it comes to dual spec tanks.
I know (or suspect) some/many players assume this(HR) is valid, but it is not.
F.ex; If you stand at the bar-counter and see a woman sitting alone in a booth, you cant say “that seat(or woman?) is reserved” in the same second as another male person walks into the bar. The person walking in doesnt have to abide with this. That the woman may deny them both a seat is another thing.
By entering a group which has clearly, transparently set and announced loot rules, you agree to the given terms. Be it HR or GDKP or whatever, Blizzard allows this and by your terminology it is valid.
Breaking the announced loot rules is not valid, punishable and often actually punished by Blizzard.
Please, be more concrete with your statements to prevent confusion.
So what? You Typhoone her off from the seat? XD
What is this example even has to do with the fact ITEMS WILL BE HRed AND IT IS NOT NINJA LOOTING. You can ofc not join such run, but as a caster You dont give a damn and as a for instance retribution paladin, if you dont have stable guild group (which is rare in reality) You pretty much ARE forced to play tank os and grab those items yoursef.
You cant assume such player made HR-“agreements” is valid just by typing it, you would have to require a typed answer for such to be a binding in-game code.
Bro, if You see a message “LFM X, Item G is reserved” and You explicitly send a request for invite, YOU AGREE ON THE TERMS.
