What would make the alliance more popular?

:cd: :cd: sliders

You are the one trolling so the only thing you can get annoyed at then is your own insults then as you are being toxic by spreading lies you know full well that lore proves you wrong

Talking about going forward, not about what the situation is in the past.

Haha, don’t be clever, you know exactly what I mean.

You missed the part where most of the blood elves returning to their high elven idenitty and support the alliance. And that’s not even close to average on the ridiculous scale of what’s happened in wow including blood elves joining the horde.

Not being nasty nor selfish, we are talking about the alliance becoming popular and attractive again, and having it’s biggest assets, elves and humans being prominent on the faction they are from.

Returning that to the alliance is part and parcel…

With that sort of attitude, don’t you think alliance felt blizzard was being nasty to them when they took high elves and put them on the horde as blood elves, and took night elves in the night elven city of Suramar, and caused the Nightborne to go horde rather than get healed up and return to the kaldorei faction ? you are saying that Nightborne and Blood elves who aren’t traditional horde races going homeless is nasty - then what do you think night elves, void elves/high elves have had to deal with all this time? 20 years of nasty, but woe betide the same is experienced on the horde to which these races aren’t native too?

Walked right into that one didn’t ya.

Well, they can have it, except the Well of Eternity, that’s in the charge of night elves, druids, wild gods and dragons, and unless the horde rules those races and organisations, it won’t be horde… besides, if I were writing the story, i’ll just have the night elves take the well to broken isles, so no argument or contention can happen there.

Face it, Nordrassil doesn’t need to mask it’s energy anymore, Legion threat is over, it can be normal world tree like Teldrassil was.

Well you can do that without taking from the Horde.

What “Kaldorei faction?” That’s long gone and it’s either Alliance, where your Human servants or your in the Horde, where you get to uphold values and be an interesting race. Plus, working with the Sin’dorei who respect your values and work towards bettering you.

Except, it hasn’t been a wish from Horde players, that they were made homeless. Yes, you get your odd RP comment - but Horde players haven’t gone around asking “Can Horde claim Darnassus and Exodar now and push the nelfs and Draenei out?” No, these claims only come from the Alliance/Night Elf Fans.

Which they wouldn’t do.

Jaina, Arthas, Garithos, Vereesa, the Night Elves - these have all been big factors as to why the Blood Elves aren’t Alliance and will never be Alliance.

Leaving the Alliance was set in W3.
It was only natural, through their clear link with Sylvanas Windrunner, that the Blood Elves of Silvermoon, would find her as a close ally and both she and them would work on getting them into the Horde.

At the same time she sent aid, the night elves sent hostile spies and hostile huntresses.

They would never touch necromancy. Silvermoon suffered at the hands of that magic in the Third War and it lost them their Sunwell. They will never use that magic within Quel’Thalas’ borders.

Why not?

Horde doesn’t need blood elves and nightborne in the night elf and high elf kingdoms all cushy, like they’re horde themed races when they’re not, they were there to make the horde popular so players had pretty options to pick. and they did the job.

The horde is most popular atm, they don’t need to have all the cool elven stuff. They can remain there with just the races playable, they can be refugees, just like the night elves and high/void elves have been.

It’s time to bring the elves home to the alliance properly . The original core of the alliance - humans and Elves and make it interesting. Blood elves and Nightborne should be what the void elves and night elves are now - i.e. small group of powerful individuals alienated from the larger majority of their race, fighting for the horde most of their races do not mesh with or agree with. And for that to happen, the majority of the current blood elves and Nightborne must become high elves and Night elves once more, through persuasion and the Arcan’dor, and just the general attitude and culture of the horde that is most un-elven like, coupled with far more relatable values and friendship overtures from the alliance elves. - at least that’s the approach I’d take.

They can be refugees in Orgrimmar, having a blood elven and nightborne section in the city, and have some small towns/villages they build in newly conquered horde territory.

I mean, to the extent the original elven races, the night elves and the high/void elves are homeless, adrift getting the butt end of everything

The night elves and high elves are the key major attractions of the alliance anyway, and blood elves /nightborne don’t need all the assets of both kaldorei and the Thalassians to be playable or on the horde.

Don’t you also find they are detracting from the races the horde is really about? I say they should nerf the forsaken, blood elves and Nightborne on the horde seriously. Especially the elves.

Why should a major alliance race like night elves and high elves be refugees in Stormwind while non-native blood elves and nightborne hug and get everything that’s good about those two races? For a faction they’re not even really a part of.

Blizzard owe the horde nothing for the elves, they were bought in to make them popular, they are much more popular now, the elves aren’t leaving the horde, but they don’t have to be amazing on the horde,

Let the alliance shine again with Night elves and Thalassians having the best of their race, heritage and legacy available at it’s brightest and fullest in the faction they are primarily based on and core too … i.e. the alliance, meanwhile the horde elevate the trolls , orcs, goblins, pandas etc.

Want elven bragging rights and fancy stuff, well the alliance is where they’re native to, you get all the elf love from the devs there. or you should… It diminishes both the alliance and the horde for blizzard to keep making the horde elves so unbelievably good and giving them all the best things of both the Kaldorei and the Thalassians.

You are just making excuses… the horde isn’t the natural home of the elves, their culture, their attitude, their history, it’s all in the night elves and high elves which are on the alliance, blood elves and nightborne are a branch of those that blizzard gave the high elf kingdom assets and the kaldorei empire assets too, to make the horde look better and nice… but the horde doesn’t need those things on their

It’s diminishing the alliance, and also distorting the identity of the horde… the horde can be attractive for horde things like the Zandalari empire, the Orcs, the Pandas can majorly favour the horde while a small remnant side with the alliance. The horde doesn’t need elves, certainly not the elven assets … they are a major alliance attraction. So keep them predominantly on the alliance, with a small sample flavour on the horde. Just like we have worgen o the alliance giving a small sample flavour of horde savagery , but it’s small, not a big thing.

Let some of those alliance players on the horde because of Nightborne and blood elves having Silvermoon, Suramar and the core assets come back home. Let the alliance be what the alliance was… the home of the elves and humans, with magic galore, civilization, loyalty, goodness e, nobility.

this doesn’t preclude the horde from having these things or even these races, but they should be small, not hugging the assets and limelight of both the night elves and high elves.

Blizz don’t owe the horde elves at all, they owe the horde a decent horde themed progression and story that’s true to the faction’s origin but also can be powerfully attractive. it doesn’t have to be all mud huts and savages, you can have savage civilization like the trolls show, technology and engineering like the goblins and can have magic through warlocks and shaman too, you don’t have to co=opt mages and druids to become more major on the horde.

So you take elves, druids, mages, and port hem all over, making them huge things on the horde - you’re taking the alliance strong suits to the horde, and no, the answer isn’t taking the horde strong suits to the alliance, it’s giving the alliance their strong suits back and giving the horde theirs.

BE’s belong to the Horde, they were chased out of the Alliance by Garithos. Thank him.

It’s the lore. Not headcanon.

Night Elves essentially pushed the Blood Elves and Nightborne to the Horde.
Sylvanas and Lor’themar were on hand to help both races.

And neither is the Alliance.
Nobody has “claim” to the Elves on the Horde.
The Elves chose to join the Horde and that is where they are.

Not the Horde’s problem and the Blood Elves and Nightborne shouldn’t be diminished because of poor Alliance story.
You’ve got problems, you raise them with the devs. You can’t do that…then that’s on you.

The Horde has always had strong Magi.
Nightborne and Blood Elves just make it better.

Well Garithos pushed them towards the Illidari.
Night Elves pushed them towards joining the Horde.

Alliance isn’t important for what is strongest on the Horde.
Get your own problems and raise them with the devs.

No, because ever since they joined the Horde, BFA was the first time they essentially led it (The Forsaken anyway.)

All times prior, the Elves and Forsaken have just been on the Horde. Lor’themar had a patch in 5.2 in MoP and that’s it. Blood Elves have just been there.

Blood Elves and Nightborne shouldn’t be nerfed because your nelf mage ego is fragile.
Make a case for nelf mages and put it forward to Blizzard. It’s not for you to decide how blood elves and nightborne are written.

You have a bias for night elves. Keep it on the alliance, don’t make it our problem.

Because Darnassus was destroyed and High Elves chose exile and choose to live in Stormwind.

Not blood elf or nightborne problems.

That guild going Alliance is going Alliance because of the Dwarf racials. Nothing to do with Elves. Stop wishing for blood elves and nightborne to be nerfed because that won’t achieve anything.

No they shouldn’t.

Blood Elves are the core and main race. Void Elves should always be beneath them.
Nightborne are their own thing now, separated from the Night Elves.

No they shouldn’t. Stop ripping our races apart.

Kalibas - just do 1 with this. Your seeking to destroy the Blood Elves and Nightborne and it’s not on. We shouldn’t have to defend our races because you don’t like them overtaking your precious nelfs.

No they dont

Maybe you should take your own advice instead of trying to force your opinion on others especially since you been proven wrong by the lore several times

Junk elfs sucks they are outdated, it is all about the Ren’dorei now, You are but an obsolete pawn of devolution awaiting to be sorted/taken care of.

Ren’dorei for obvious reason as the true and superior elve are Alliance only !

In your shambolic forum-RP opinion, to which you won’t reply to this comment because you know it’s the truth.

I do sympthaise, I’ve had that pleasure in another topic once before.

There is no reasoning with people like that she wont listen even though shes been given the facts many times. Its better if you just ignore her

That’s exactly what I’ve done.
I’m willing to discuss things with Kalibas, even if I completely disagree with him, because he does put arguments forward, where we can have a proper conversation.
With this other guy - no.
