There is currently a huge problem with matchmaking values. Blitz is basically free 2100 if you simply queue and know pve rotation. 2400 is free for whoever understands tactics.
The other brackets are extremely stiff atm. 3s and shuffle impossible to push past 1900/2k if you are not multiglad r1 player.
This is a huge problem. All players are resorting to one bracket for rewards and the rest are just kinda dead.
There should be a balance between how easy it is to get certains ratings in each bracket
Why is it braindead? Having different DR with different CC makes it much harder to balance team comps, and adds in not needed complexity. No, it is not hard, it just makes You remember an extra table for overlapping DR’s , and locks You into set team compositions. With Solo arena, this is an even bigger issue, because You can’t just take the superior comp.
So instead of expanding your thoughts, You just make assumptions and flame others. That is not reasonable discussion.
Kicks now only put that spell you kick on cooldown, not the entire spell school. To compensate, all kick durations are increased.
Instant casts, both healing and damage, significantly nerfed in terms of their direct impact to the game, like raw healing or damage. Casted spells and heals now deal in general more damage. Specs that rely on instants to deal a lot of their damage reworked to cast more.
Mobility nerfed across the board, melee and ranged alike.
Deadzone back for hunters. To compensate, all hunter abilities can now be cast while moving.
automated gameplay (e.g. automatically proccing heals, shields, snares, roots etc) pruned across the board.
Because cc is already nerfed, since df there is no such thing as setup comps. Making cc on every dr or more insane “remove healers from pvp” is common low rated take from tunnel vision players (no offense pls).
In solo there i have 10x times more chance to win playing double hunter, hunter/ele, hunter/lock or hunter/dh than playing jungle/thug. Btw I have around ~5% winrate with rets in shuffle (even in df playing multiple dps specs), because setup doesnt work in no voice in non coordinate environment
Plus honor system gains (although that did get just a tiny bit better with honor flasks now) and exponential growth with CR, and better bot detection. And also now that we have BG Blitz, proper MMR placement games.
(Also maybe, just for shizz and giggles, un-nerf all racials in PvP, give me that nasty LF DR laser.)
i dont want to rating bash, but look at the xp from these guys, then u know it, they just want minecraft pvp in wow
most of them are gone yeah, main factor is the age i think, if u reach the age of 30-40+ its more difficult to find time to sweat into the game, or being as dedicated into the game as u was 18 -19 years old
time is also a big factor how invested you are into this game, and solo shuffle invested a big ego in some peoples what reached their first 2.4 ever
and they think they know how the game works, just the dunning kruger effect
They just should give up the idea being a competitive esports viable gamemode, it will never happen.
Balancing around Mdi/ Pve Esport Scene was just the biggest negative hit for the wow Playerbase
i mean it´s nice to see, if your own “game” are making own esports even, but balancing around it, was pretty much the the nail on the coffin
I really think You guys need to think outside of the box. There is no such thing as DR in other PVP games. Guess what, all new players are low rated. Obviously having different DR’s and 30 buttons with 5 cc / gapclosers are good for high rated games maybe, but they are bad for any new players. If the plan is to make it fun for Gladiators then sure, but in general PVP is pretty much dead, compared to what it could be.
