I just tried Classic as hunter and… what is the point of “Shadowmeld” NE racial? You cant use it in combat and leave combat 
Why would you use it then? Im just curious. In what situation you need this stealth ability if it cant remove combat?
It’s kind of a RP ability to fit the spirit of an elf.
You can use it to avoid detection if you are stuck in a small place; or you can use to defend flag room in warsong gulch.

It’s good for getting the jump in world PvP or AV. Also just as useful for avoiding ganks if you manage to do it before being spotted.
Great for defending the flag or location in WSG/AB
Great for regening health and mana as you can eat/drink then meld.
It also gives rogues and druids an improved level of stealth.
My main during vanilla was a Night Elf Warrior and I used to love using it during AB. Let them start capping LM then charge them and stall it out as long as I could or until back up arrived.

Yep, be happy you’re a hunter you still get some use out of yet. You can use your pet while you stay in shadowmeld! (atleast in private?) So make sure to get a pet that has stealth and you can be a top defender/ambusher

I always shadowmeld when I have to do a quick biobreak. Handy for peeing. And pooing too I suppose.

So you use prowl when you go grocery shopping or something?
you can shadowmeld as a none-stealth class

Work only on dumb player, good player take Songflower 1 day before raid and logout into BWL or MC with full world buff.
*raid log player, Imagine people wanting to play their character outside their weekly raid lol.

People who want to raid log are not going to take a Songflower the raid day, unless they aren’t really serious. You should come prepared if you want to logs.
Playing characters on raid day is impossible unless you want to die with world buff or get griefed by a dispeller. Of course, I talk about PvP realm.
Just sit in blackrock mountain mind controlling people into the lava while in stealth

Shadowmeld is literally one of the best racials out there.
And as it happens, as a hunter you can actually exit combat with FD.
