Which sin did the alliance commit?
The incident with Garithos? Per your own accord not the current alliance/ the same
Dalaran? Jaina abd the silver Covenant were neutral and ther was no alliance involvement into it, heck even Varian was Furious as he heard about it, aince it torpedoed the negotiations with lor’themars who was about switching sides
Blizzard gave Manari red skin customisation. They also made all races Warlocks Rogues and Mages. They might give High Elves. High elf fans have to make do with void elves as they roleplay the high elves but the purple blood elves are not the same.
Should Blizzard finally give the Alliance High Elves. Then this would make more happy than unhappy.
Not sure if it’s jealousy of Blood Elf players or something.
You already have high elves in everything but the name. A name tag doesn’t change anything. the RP community agrees here. You are alone with Moontear in your demands. If we get any new races it will be Eatherals and Forest Trolls.
The next logical step is fel orcs. Also with Eredar and void elves your are now official evil faction quite ironic isn’t it?
Purple Blood Elves are not High Elves. They are two different people.
High Elves kept their connection to nature. Perhaps even the possibility of High Elf Paladin Shaman Druids among them.
The traitors that constantly turn their backs on everyone and everything. The tainted whose very blood is tainted by Fel. These are not High Elves.
The Alliance can improve from High Elve participation.
Eredar were what the race was before Sargeras. Now it is just Draenai and Manari.
Draenai followed Velen and the Naaru. Other Draenai that remained followed the Naaru becoming Lightforged Draenai. Draenai that devolved became the Broken.
Draenai that embrace the Fel eventually become Manari.
Dark Iron Dwarves are already considered an “evil” race.
The Horde are the bad guys. Probably always will be.
But we have addressed this on other forums.
Of course they are. It is the exact same model with the exact same looks. Ever wondered why nobody here but Moontear supports you?
Same race different politics.
Actual evil demons. the Fel Orcs don’t even come close to have a similar body count. The Eredar wiped out entire worlds.
They are not. You just try to implement alliance supremacy as valid lore take because people like yourself and Moontear are always gushing about your entitlement that Blizzard fed to you the past 10 years.
Didn’t stop Blizzard pretending they were always good. Same with void elves and the Eredar.
High Elves once again standing as a people with humans and part of the Grand Alliance. There is still much that they have to offer.
Wrong again. Horde elves are different to the High Elves.
Not the politics. Only thing that seperates Purple Blood Elves from the rest of their Kin is the Void.
That was the Manari. Once again. Ererdar is what they were before Sargeras came. Sargeras needed their race for his Burning Legion. Two thirds joined him following Archimonde and Khijaedden. Those that did not are actually the Eredar today but they called themselves Draenai.
I have already explained this.
Horde are a faction of children murderers. Horde butcher defenceless civilians again and again. The Alliance is nothing like the Horde.
Not sure how often retcons if there was a retcon take place.
Blizzard gave you a compromise and the majority of RPers I saw on my server are happy with it. Only a handful of close minded extremists who still cry because the name tag is wrong keep complaining. You are all alone with your crusade. And this is about the humans and not elves because a true fan wouldn’t care who their allies are if needed. That is a very weird obsession feeding from LOTR that says all humans and elves must be friends or something. Be glad Blizzard broke awful stereotypes over time.
Look identical bar the eye color.
Who joined the alliance now.
No you fight to keep the status quo where the alliance remains untouchable.
Dark Iron Dwarfs still did lots of evil stuff but Blizzard ignores it because they will never harm the alliance identity of being always right and winning.
You are wrong. The High Elves kept their names and despite the losses suffered by the Scourge. Remained true to what they are.
Pretend as much as you like as though those changes do not matter.
It is like those who are pretending that the Manari and Draenai are the same people. They ar enot.
Incorrect.
Manari has not joined the Alliance. There was a choice made to satisfy some that wanted to play Manari. Remnants of the Burning Legion are still seperate from the Draenai of the Alliance.
Don’t like the story take it up with Blizzard.
Defenceless civilians does not have to fear the Alliance. Defenceless civilians have every reason to fear the Horde. Burning of Teldrassil - Butchery of Brennedam Village - Rounding up human villagers to be “fuel for the fel” - The sacking of Stormwind and more.
Derek Proudmoore their nations hero was supposed to be the Blight bomb of the Horde to kill civilians of Kul Tiras. Something that Baine Bloodhoof put a stop to.
So yes. The Horde are clearly the bad guys.
What about camp Taurajo? Well the looters there were executed part of military discipline. The civilians of Taurajo took their fate into their own hands. Released unharmed.
You refuse to acknowledge Horde victories and Alliance losses.
The first few Wars the Horde was victorious. It was not really until the formation of the Grand Alliance that the Horde was bested.
The Horde was victorious destroying Alliance cities such as Theramore and Teldrassil. Yet the Horde has not lost any territories. Only gained large Territories such as the Night Elf city of Surumar and the wide lands of Highmountain.
It does not change the fact. High Elves built Quel’Thelas. Quel’Thelas is their homeland.
Player changes is not the same as Lore changes.
In terms of Lore Night Elf magecraft is an offensive punishable by death. Due to the whole Highborne and Sundering events. But in the game Night Elf Mages exist for the players.
The Horde tried that when they began the 4th war.
The Horde was defeated by the might of the Alliance.
Deal with it.
It was an civil war that took horde down in 4th war, not “the might of the alliance”.
well maybe more truthfully blizzard defeated the horde and smashed it into the pieces which was prolly even plan with the writing team. Also with the Manari if you played the questline it was obviously pointed that way that they joined the alliance while asking forgiveness from Draenei
Technically the Horde had to resort to murder Horde soldiers and forcing Horde and Alliance into Undeath. The start of the war was a big blow. Humbling the Zandalari Trolls was another blow to Horde efforts. They did try to bring Azshara into their plans but this did not go well as Azshara only cares for Azshara.
The Alliance leadership actually gave orders to not press the attacks.
Even with the Vulpera aggression in Voldun. Alliance was ordered to simply scare the Vulpera away not slaughter every Vulpera that can be found.
So yes. Time and time again even during the 4th War with the Horde doing everything possible to slaughter every single Alliance man woman and child. The Alliance demonstrated restraint and mercy.
I will have to look into this questline. Possibly another bat retcon to try and square the circles. Manari has hunted Draenai since Sargeras gave their leaders Velen - Archimonde - Kiljhadden the choice. Committing all sorts of atrocities.
The defeat of the Burning Legion does not erase this.
Not much to look into, frankly. A Man’ari tells us he is totally on our side now, and that his guys were basically forced into being evil by Sargeras. After the Legion was defeated, and with a few thousand years of being pumped with fel, he suddenly had a change of heart about the Legion’s atrocities he was commiting (under duress, by his account) before, and started fighting them instead. He convinces Velen to give him a chance by… fighting some more demons (still using fel, of course), and thwarting some post-Legion demon plan. For that Velen is willing to give him a chance to redeem himself, and the next time we see him is in the Draenei heritage quests, where Velen fully relies on him and his help. That’s basically it.
So the “added depth” that Heisae speeks of is basically just ignoring the preexisting lore about fel corruption, thus opening the way for frickin’ demons to have a change of heart and tell us their sobstories now.
Thanks for the explaination. It raises more questions than answers.
Since for your soul to turn up within the Twisting Nether means that whatever you once was you are now a demon now. Which means the Demon Hunters of Night Elf and Blood Elf are fully demons. Choosing to become the very things that they hunt.
