I don’t want to be a bunch of powerless losers with no leg in the world saving business. I want to be strong and have grand screentime in flashy cinematic while doing OP magic stuff.
They started as a world power and turned into a bunch of powerless misfits. That is a downgrade.
Wooow there are two Erevien’s now You apparently downgraded yourself. That you ignore lore for over 20 years the devs can’t help.
I am on my phone and too lazy to change the account.
The Horde wasn’t ever a world power. It took the Old Horde 5 years to defeat one human kingdom, it took the Alliance of Lordaeron 2 years to defeat the Old Horde. Thrall’s Horde were outcasts and decimated peoples.
the original Horde was powerful and vast. The modern Horde can barley field an army. This is the worst the Horde has ever been now.
Powerful and vast, but it was a regional power, not a world power. Again.
It took the original Horde five years to defeat one kingdom but it only took the Alliance of Lordaeron two years to defeat the Old Horde.
They steamrolled every other race on Draenor even the Draenei and Ogres.
They would have won the second war if Gul’Dan didn’t betray them.
And it took them close to a decade.
Why would they have? By the time the Horde was defeated Gul’dan’s betrayal had just been made known and two entire Alliance armies were just moments away from Lordaeron City.
Still victory. At the same time the trolls lost every war they took part in.
Gul’dan and the clans under his joke kept attacking Silvermoon before. With two fronts Turalyon and his forces stood no chances. We know this cuz Kil’jaeden told AU Gul’dan his treason cost the Orcs the final stage of the war.
But they won against the A’qir as you are so fond of pointing out on the US forum.
It wouldn’t have been two fronts. You said it yourself. The Stormreaver, Twilight’s Hammer and Dragonmaw clans had been ordered to besiege Silvermoon while Orgrim took the Blackrock and Black Tooth Grin clans to attack Lordaeron city. Without Silvermoon falling Gul’dan and co. would have sat in Quel’Thalas while Turalyon fell no Orgrim’s army from the east and, as you forgot, Thoras moves in across Alterac alongside the Alteraci army led by General Hath.
Treason or not, Orgrim loses the Battle of Lordaeron.
You are essentialy proving what I accuse Blizzard off all the time. They never let the Horde have a serious victory since the first game in 1994. And that is bad. You can’t let people have real faction pride of their group is constantly portrayed as a bunch of losers that don’t really fit together.
Garithos is as much Alliance as Gul’dan is New Horde… so not at all.
Saying your sorry and actually bieng sorry are two different things.
The Horde says they’re sorry but let every criminal except the Warchief go free and reintegrate into the Horde.
Not even a Loa, but the Loa of Kings.
Maybe the Horde fans should stop cheering for genocidal maniacs as leaders at BlizzCon instead of the reasonable, and better, leaders.
Maybe that’ll help.
Horde is the strongest faction in-Lore, so much so they are able to ignore the Armistice in the Ashenvale, Darkshore and Arathi Highlands.
Lets not forget that half of the Stromic army was able to keep the Horde south of the Thandol Span, forcing the Horde to build boats, lol.
Thus proving that, as I stated, the Horde is not a world power simply because they were never written as such in modern WoW lore. They are the underdogs. But they had a serious victory in BfA, they are the only faction to have directly destroyed a capital city.
In fairness that wasn’t because Stromgarde kept the Horde south of the Thandol Span, but because Orgrim planned a quick decapitating strike through Hillsbrad to Lordaeron City before the Alliance would have been able to muster an adequate response.
That plan failed, I can’t imagine how. It only relied on the Alliance being blind, deaf and largely comatose.
You really can’t understand why having two factions who aren’t equal in power are a problem right?
and a bunch of demon lapdogs, on demon blood steroids.
First War
mostly cata with so many victories liek in silevrpine, gilenas and Hillsbrand as Andorhal and barrens ans stonetalon mountion
War of Thonres,
Battle of Undercity (BFA)
sure, no victories after all
Cata stuff was reversed in BFA.
This is how good world building looks like
both factions get a half of the world
Maybe you should make your own game and make your own Horde. Use the energy that you use on these forums everyday for something good.
This is my favorite game so I fight hard to change it.
No, because I don’t think it is a problem. I don’t understand why it would be a problem either. It gave the Horde such a good story in Classic and their numerical disadvantages are made up for through other means.
