When will the alliance finally lose?

the lore status changed obviously and the gameplay doesn’t match the actual reality of events since most expansion content is time locked.

Zone Ownership Overview

Ownership is determined by which faction’s settlements, quest hubs, or overall influence dominates a given zone.

Horde-Controlled Zones:

These are zones where the Horde has significant settlements or control:

  1. Kalimdor:
  • Durotar
  • Northern Barrens
  • Southern Barrens (contested but heavily Horde-leaning)
  • Mulgore
  • Azshara
  • Desolace (shared but with a strong Horde presence)
  • Dustwallow Marsh (Horde-leaning after the destruction of Theramore)
  • Thousand Needles (shared, but Camp Mojache is prominent)
  1. Eastern Kingdoms:
  • Tirisfal Glades (Forsaken stronghold despite the Battle for Lordaeron)
  • Silverpine Forest
  • Hillsbrad Foothills
  • The Hinterlands (shared but Horde has Revantusk Village)
  • Ghostlands
  • Eversong Woods
  1. Expansion Zones:
  • Zuldazar (Horde capital in Battle for Azeroth zones)
  • Nazmir
  • Vol’dun

Alliance-Controlled Zones:

These are zones dominated by Alliance presence:

  1. Kalimdor:
  • Teldrassil (formerly; destroyed by Sylvanas in Battle for Azeroth)
  • Darkshore (currently Alliance-controlled after Battle for Azeroth)
  • Ashenvale (contested but leaning Alliance after BfA)
  • Azuremyst Isle
  • Bloodmyst Isle
  1. Eastern Kingdoms:
  • Elwynn Forest
  • Westfall
  • Redridge Mountains
  • Duskwood
  • Loch Modan
  • Dun Morogh
  • Wetlands
  • Arathi Highlands (Alliance-controlled after BfA)
  • Twilight Highlands (shared, but strong Alliance foothold in Highbank)
  1. Expansion Zones:
  • Kul Tiras (all zones—Tiragarde Sound, Drustvar, Stormsong Valley)

Neutral/Contested Zones:

These zones typically have mixed settlements or neutral factions taking precedence:

  • Stranglethorn Vale
  • Tanaris
  • Feralas
  • Stonetalon Mountains
  • Uldum
  • Silithus

Approximate Totals (Current Game State):

  • Horde Zones: ~18-20 (including Zandalar zones)
  • Alliance Zones: ~16-18 (including Kul Tiras zones)
  • Neutral/Contested Zones: ~12-15

Yet here we are, look who’s wrong again :joy: Cannot wait for you just saying ‘Not important’

I don’t agree with calling some zones Alliance, I know they technically are but:

Alliance has no settlements in the zone, they just “patrol” it. The Horde-loyal Shatterspear tribe has their hometown in Darkshore.

As per the newest short story, the Horde’s mag’har clans and the elite Kor’kron Guard control a sizeable chunk of the lands around Hammerfall. Enough so that Stromgarde can be seen in the distance.

Dragonmaw Harbor is a full on Horde fortress. Highbank is two walls, a barracks and a inn under permanent construction.

I would switch Hinterlands (Aerie Peak is the capital of the Wildhammer Clan) and the Twilight Highlands around.

Also you forgot Western Plaguelands, Andorhal is fully Forsaken/Horde.

As of Cataclysm, the Darkspear and Zandalari jointly watch over/inhabet Zul’Gurub.

The Horde has Grom’gol Base Camp, a fort, and a Bilgewater town, the Alliance has like a few tents at most.

Same with Badlands, the Horde has New Kargath, the Alliance has a few wooden poles and a tent. :frowning:

You are clearly missing some lore here, no not WoW lore, Erevien lore. So no matter what numbers or facts you throw at him it doesn’t matter, because all these “Alliance bias” posts he is making are because on a German RP server there are more Alliance players than Horde players, that is all and that is the whole backbone of “Alliance bias”.

Aslo High Moutain ans Suramar.
And island of quel danas is also an extra zone under blood elf/ Horde controll

also the alliance had no settlemnt there, just an watchtorer right at the Border of ferals.

isle of quel’danas , also a seperate zone (and BC late game hub for sunwell.

i woud say neutal/shared since wildhammer has also the main hub theri with
Aerie Peak.

retconed, and shared with heartland, its split in halfwith mag`har in controll of one half.

Horde controled since alliance withdraw foces after the bombing of the druid school.

Also western Plauegland (which you didnt list) and mostly horde controlled since Horde won the batlle of andorhal and slaugther the famers on the nearby farems spread the plauge again oj the farmlands

You here to stir the pot again?

hahahahaha when you can’t make the difference anymore in between RP and real life anymore. No hate to RP, but shees that is next lvl, but it explains it.

well when we start splitting hairs most of horde areas are complete wildlands that are lot less developed than most of alliance zones.
I personally don’t see actually that much of an point in this talk who owns the most zones at this point even the developers don’t care for this other than gameplay perspective.
Only problem is if you start taking out capital cities and making em neutral. though im fine with the “neutral” way that horde or alliance owns the city but otherside can visit the city and being closely watched

Race capitals never turn neutral. Teldrassil was destroyed and Bel’ameth is full of alliance NPCs only. These folks on the forum are insane if they really think the blood elves will give up THEIR city.

What if it happens? Will you quit?

I didn’t quit when they made Sylvanas a raid boss. Nothing can make me quit at this point.

King’s honor. Friend.

He is even turning up as his alterego Alliance lol, man even the cap about quitting the game if Gallywix is killed I see is untrue.

Which is what most Horde races prefer!

I wouldn’t call goblin, Forsaken or blood elven areas wildlands, or less developed, because those races aren’t like orcs, tauren, or trolls!

They have dark rangers, which are a Forsaken-only class.

Every Dark Ranger NPC ingame is either Forsaken or neutral, none are Alliance.

That might just be due to the vast majority of the Horde’s territory being settled by the Horde within the last twenty years while the majority of all Alliance territory was settled centuries and even thousands of years ago.

It also speaks to the fundamental differences between the state based societies of the Alliance and the tribal cultures of the Horde.

Can I just say with his decision to reroll alliance.
The alliance just took a massive loss.
Horde had a massive win.
