That is shifting responsibility.
The Horde embraced the practices of Warlocks and the Fel. The Horde gleefully used the Sceptre of Sargeras. Their spells made it unstable.
The Alliance is fighting to stop the Horde from doing to Azeroth. The Horde can not blame things on the Demonblood when they chose to drink it twice.
Incorrect. Warlords of Draenor demonstrated that even without the demon blood. The (Iron) Horde will just genocide the Draenai anyway.
I kinda agree about Teldrassil, that was probably the only really big genocidal crime horde did to the other side and without proper justification, that was literally horrible writing and yeah Sylvanah was probably the trashiest warchief because of that. Even Garrosh was not that big of the deal compared to what Sylvanah did to the Darnassus. If Teldrassil was not burnt, probably the whole war at gates of Undercity and bfa events would not start
ex shamans groomed into usage of fel by gul’dan and mannorth were using fel, not the horde, your average grunt didn’t had a choice regarding drinking mannorth’s blood, it’s explicitly stated in chronicles that those who refused were executed, frostwolf clan is obvious example that easily conveys the intent of writer so that even illiterate individual like you could understand the message.
Moreso, converting horde into liking demons was a slow process, shadow council did many things to enforce “draenei bad fel good” agenda before orcs started to drink blood
is an alt reaility, basis for my statements is chronicles, but it’s a book, and you obviously don’t read anything and have only surface level knowledge on basically every subject, which is tiring because conversing with you is like conversation between a math scientist and 2 grade school kid about discrete math
Reports of this are too messy.
The Alliance was not involved in these events. As Jaina Proudmoore and the Kul Tiran people were not a part of the Alliance. Dalaran being a neutral city until the Blood Elves and the Horde broke the neutrality for a military operation against the Alliance.
Yes there was a High Elf population living in Theramore.
High Elves have lived in Alliance territories for a long time now.
Blood Elves turned their back on High Elves. Blood Elves turned their backs on the Alliance that they once stood with. When humans helped High Elves to free Quel’Thelas from Amani Troll domination. When High Elves stood with the Alliance against the Horde.
Camp Taurajo was a military target. Horde leadership even acknowledged this.
The Alliance is not responsible for the civilians of Taurajo but did set them free. The overzealous Alliance soldiers were put down.
Jaina Proudmoore neutralised Blood Elves that took up arms against her. Those that did not were not harmed. They were placed in the Violet Hold then released to Lorthemar Theron later on. When the Thunder King threat was being neutralised.
The Alliance always hold our punches. When the Alliance put down Rhastakhan. Only the Zandalari soldiers that stood in our way was put down. When the job was done. We left. Unlike the Horde, Civilians do not need to fear the Alliance military.
Then when the Horde was losing the 4th war. Alliance leadership cautioned against doing maximum damage. As that would have made us no better than the Banshee, Sylvannas.
The Alliance is a necessary force. A weak Alliance only allows more Horde atrocities. Just like Teldrassil. City guards vs a Horde army?
Look what happened when the Alliance army faced the Horde army at Undercity / Lordaeron. The Horde army lost militarily. So the Horde chose to blight the entire city and area than to concede defeat.
Incorrect. We know EXACTLY what happened without Garrosh’s influence. As Garrosh Hellscream prevented them from drinking the blood of Mannaroth.
Allowed the Iron Horde to make counter measures against the Pit Lord.
Statements like this is reveals more that you’re huffing your own farts instead of engaging with the lore and history.
Ad hominems only conceded defeat and demonstrates you have nothing of value to add.
Warlords of Draenor addresses the “what if” question of the Horde. Covering much but not all.
Typical. Remove agency and responsibility from the Horde.
In the absence of their power source. As in the Elements of Draenor rejecting the Orcs. The Orcs WILLFULLY chose to embrace the Fel. Following their leaders and clan members. FrostWolf strength was needed as the Orcs realised that the planet was dying so they have to find a new world for their people.
Frost Wolfs did not drink but had to prove themselves to the Horde. Which they did. The Shadow Council was simply the power behind the throne. As the Warchief was a puppet. Nothing more. Orcs will follow their Warchief not Guldan.
That was not justifiable to send spies and break the diplomatic talks which were underway at the start of TBC, alliance literally did a mess there. Only blood elves which followed Kael’thas in Outlands betrayed the rest of the world by submitting to fel power, the ones who remained in silvermoon they were neutral and did not actually betrayed or something. Alliance actually betrayed them by sending spies, you can’t deny that
I did not see that blood elves she killed were armed and tried to resist, she just wanted to kill them. At least from what I saw in cinematic
Why alliance needed to kill Rastakhan? This is really interesting question
Alliance, since horde attempted or tryd multipole genocides
Orc genocied dranei on dranor
Bloodelf tryed it withb the sabotage of the exodar to crash it
Forsaken with plagueign gilneas
Horde with the burning of teldrasil
wrong- those elves were the sunruaver who are part of dalarn…and iconyly this one betrayed dalarans neutralyty twice, the pure of dalaran was in respons of the high treason against dalaran since they helped garrosh stealing the divne bell
which crimes?
allaince rarly do something bad an if so only with good reason
legtimet military target even acknowlegd by horde and same argument for theramore
also it was even a miss understanding if you do the allaince part of the quest, teh was even a refguee coridor
high treason by sunreaver who sided with horde
she resing after legion because khadgar push to open the city for horde, bewten mop and legion she was head of the council.
Ironicly she wanred the council the horde woud to something stupid again- and she was right becasue one addon later- burning of teldrasil
edt.
responed to the bruning of teldasil.
Just retaioation acion
oh wow, capurring a prisoner (of war) is something bad
(yes the zandalry are at war with the allaince back since cata. with the rise of zandalari patch and more with Mop)
Blizz should’ve been just take us to alternate timeline of Draenor without fel presence, and without Garrosh either, and to see what would happen, but it would be not that interesting to play through, because the orcs would just continue live their peaceful life and care about their farms and stuff
Some events and some characters are essential to history.
There will be no Horde without Guldan.
The Horde believe themselves to be conquerors.
The Green skins Orcs. Blamed it on the Demon blood and that they have destroyed their own world Draenor.
The Iron Horde. Draenor was fine but they thought themselves conquerors anyway. After their defeat. High Exarch Yrel seems to make sure that the Orcs can not rise to power again. As like with the regular Horde. A powerful Horde is dangerous. They mercilessly genocide the Draenai and desecrated their dead.
they do not coesxist. yrel genocided any that wouldnt join her
yes 100% but we moved past his influence after the third war and death of manaroth
because of garrosh
please play or watch on youtube the maghar recruitment. that is not what happened. it was join the light or die. the orcs were peaceful at this point. shes become something akin to the scarlet crusade.
sure…and he was righ atteh exit of teh portal to the righ times with his own guards (because he needed tehm soooooo much in dalaran as second powerfull mage of the B11)
You can play Mists of Pandaria. See for yourself. or watch other playthroughs. The High Elves are possibly bloodthirsty. As their species have a schism.
But Jaina did not harm those that surrendered. Is she not allowed to defend herself against hostile Blood Elves? Is she at fault if the Blood Elves started a fight and were defeated?
The Horde started the 4th War. The Zandalari Trolls at the time were powerful enough to tip the balance of power in favour of the Horde. Through Princess Talanji the Zandalari Trolls were working with the Horde establishing diplomatic relations and more.
It was necessary to stomp the Zandalari Trolls so as to not tip the scales of power in favour of the Horde. Remember a victorious Horde will kill every man woman and child they can. We saw this when Stormwind was sacked. We also saw this with the burning of Teldrassil and more.
It was necessary to pre-emptively weaken the Zandalari threat. Now their participation within the Horde is not that big of an issue. They have to rebuild their navy and replenish their population.
However the Zandalari Trolls civil war done more damage than the Alliance raid done.
This is pretty much the main reason why blizzard wanted to push initially high elves into the horde, I really hate that garithos storyline, he was such a jerk and very bad guy of the alliance. But there was still kinda neutrality about what faction to join before the alliance decided to send spies in silvermoon, I dunno if alliance actually sent help right away to silvermoon instead of spies maybe the events would unfold differently
Garithos was part of the Alliance of Lordaeron. A seperate organisation to the Grand Alliance. So the Alliance are not responsible for his actions.
Garithos was a human supremacist. Garrosh Hellscream was an Orc supremacist.
