Alliance have a lot of afk leechers and with instant queue half their team want to lose asap after a set back while Horde have very few afk leechers and are all very motivated after a long queue and do not fear a long battle. They fear a short battle and Alliance fear long battle. So as long as Hord defend hard they will break half the Alliance team and win easy. I have never heard a single horde player ever say âlet them winâ in AV and I have exalted on 3 characters.

You never had the archers at TP and IB tower shooting at you through mountains obviously. When going for IB gy you have both horde and the archers going for you - aka both ways.

Allow 40 man premades =
no more bot problems
no more mass afker problems
no more alliance loses 90% of games problems
no more ââomg I have 5 lvl 52âs in my teamââ problems
no more super long ques for horde problems (yes, more alliance will start aving if alliance didnât lose 90% of games because of bots and mass intentional afkers)
We already divered from classic, at least make the changes be for a better lifestyle for players. Instead, the changes so far made the life of players worse.
Countless allies simply stoped av-ing since premades were stopped.

Honestly agree with this well written OP, very well articulated and constructed (the first half, Iâm not interested in map balance honestly I doubt they will change it). There are great players both horde and alliance, this argument shouldnât be âwell horde are just betterâ but âhow can we improve the experience for everyone?â. Also inb4 we have the usual whine of âracials are overpoweredâ, no they are not the issue.
Want to preface my whine by saying, if people read my posts regularly on the forums I donât often complain. Iâm very happy with classic wow and I love the game, but I am getting sick of playing AV now, not because I donât like the battleground, but how it doesnât feel like pvp, it feels like queuing into a meat grinder. If it continues to be as awful as it is, I will just quit playing AV entirely and wait for AB to come out before I pvp properly again.
With myself winning now under 20% of games, even when I and several others try to communicate clearly, even when we have great leaders with direct orders, canât the horde see that itâs an issue?
Premading might have been annoying for horde and I agree, it was annoying to queue for an hour to get stomped by a top premade, but not all âpremadesâ were like that. Once the horde learnt how to fight back my win rate in an âaverageâ premade was around 50%, exactly the sweet spot I think it should be.
Canât the horde see just how miserable an experience it is as an alliance right now? We might have only a few minute queues but then weâre stuck in a battleground where the horde camp us at graveyard mercilessly for sometimes over an hour. I donât like to quit battlegrounds, but itâs so depressing. Even queueing with friends we canât carry a 40 man group, especially when half of the rest of the group are afk or not even participatingâŚ
I play AV to have fun and do some pvp. But I get about 5-15 mins of skirmishes and battles and then I normally either end up going to kill Ltâs to try and get some honor with my friends or get camped for the rest of the time.
My only solution is honestly to allow us to premade, both sides of the faction barrier. The only reason I was premading in the first place was I was sick of queueing into AV to have 15 (the highest I have seen in a bg is 22 peopleâŚ) botters/afkers. How am I meant to win with half of my team not participating. Premading was fun, most games the horde put up an amazing fight and the games were close or we even got stomped, like I said my winrate was close to 50%.
Anyway, thatâs the only rant Iâm going to have. I will go back to enjoying the bits I still enjoy of wow, and doing WSG with buddies.

I play both sides and I ve seriously not seen ppl so resistant on following orders as on alliance side. Say do not cap towers yet - you be damned the tower is capped 4 sec later. It s not only the cavedwellers as makes ally lose, you have the mounted afk ers, those stuck at at lumber mill and close to backdoor to DB - on top you have the questers and fishers. When majority in AV aint there to pvp, but quest, fish and afk then ally lose.

Can you stop asking for change ?
AV premade is done, because it was a side effect that was not expected. Itâs not Vanilla like. AV premade never existed in Vanilla. WSG and AB was the way to go if you want to play with a group. Blizzard had already made 5-man premade allowed in AV to add an opportunity for everyone to play with friends, what do you want now ? Revert the AV Premade and allow Horde and Alliance to 40-man AV ? Will never happen, AV is a friendly casual battleground, let this battleground stay alive for casual rankers.
Stop asking for AV premade or map change, adapt yourself and if you really want to premade, thereâs WSG, infested of premade both Horde and Alliance.
Everytime thereâs a premade plague somewhere, they ruin battleground. See AV Alliance premade, see WSG premade. At the moment, WSG is unplayable.
The hidden thing that premade will never say is they like to constantly face pugs because itâs easier. Alliance AV Premade players that spammed emote to laugh on random Horde players, and WSG scout proved that. Canât blame them, itâs human to want easy mode, but itâs not going to happen anymore, thereâs only 1 battleground that is casual friendly and itâs called AV, Blizzard will not ruin it. If you want to premade, goto WSG and soon AB.
Same for map changes, itâs unrealistic to keep asking for that. Do you think Blizzard will start to work on terrain changes to have the same map as Retail ? Man, stop drugs. Little changes are ok, but balance change and map change are not little changes.

It would be fun if Blizzard just changed sides for a week and turned of all horde racials and announced the win rate results.

Sure, I understand the concern, but what Blizzard can do ? Update the map to make it Retail-like, or allow 40-man premade is going to hurt the game way more than the current state of AV.
And even if you update the map, people will still loose and after that, theyâll complain this is Horde racial, and after that, theyâll complain for the next thing. Unconstructive as hell.
Doubt changes of map or anything like that would do the charm. The biggest problem imo is the afker s , leechers and questers below lvl 60. 1 AV we had 10 from lvl 51 to 54 and they were swarming the harpy cave. Have a lvl 60 AV, and do something about the leechers - it will benefit both sides
I agree, and I donât understand why they do nothing about that. Why not making AV bracket for level 60 only ? Why not make the AFK that are kicked from the game ban for 1 day for any battleground ?

Real talk of a perspectiv of a horde/ally player.
For horde AV became the normal WSG little pvp grps . They would join wsg with their 3-5 friends in wsg but now the state of wsg makes it even for them unplayable.
What does this mean. Horde joins most in time with grps avs now you have sometimes AV where atleast 5 grp are up to 3-4 players if not 5 fun fact alliance que mostly actually solo/ duo now to dodge already started games.
You can see that they are premades in beginning of the game if you see example grp 1/2/5 is already filled and grp 3/ 6 example nobody in. Now i want not to say uhh look he has 20 premades is not the point the thing is what i see often 3-5 high ranks in one grp with their pocket healers behind = better balance grp.
Yeah short said thx to the situation of WSG only premaedes and this 5 man premade AV ofc the little Horde grp just join AV for max honor what is actually even better now then WSG Oo.
With this AV is ruined for the casuals and became a professional bg one error and it is over. Well before someone say now yeah well then allianc should do it too and join only 3-5 man that not the point AV was the kinda casual bg and now it is the professional horde grind spot that is now even more worth then WSG Fullpremades because of Honor per Hour. You guys like to make jokes about alliance doing rank 14 with AV thanks to premade back but it was the same case for Horde always too if not even better right now then ever.

This is true, we actively look for fights.
We actively go for objectives to gain complete mapcontrol, simply because the alliance lets us do this.
We fight with one reason in mind, get as much honour as possible each game.

Try fight an ally as claim horde premade and thereby feels entitled to fish or make his mithril bars in ally base - ally fight a battle they can`t win since they fight their own and horde. Pretty tired of both the attitude amongst a great deal of allies and a great deal of high ranked leechers.
