Solution is not to forbid boosts, but to ban the bots. THERE IS THE MAIN SOLUTION. And if Blizzard does that in TBC, they can earn more money before the ban hammer strikes. Again, win win.
Solution is to make leveling interesting not pay to skip it
WoW made best succes without pay service - why do you think is that?

If original TBC/WOTLK had 1 boost per account it would still be the success it is today Iâm sure of it. You have not proven why a boost would be bad, you failed big time to convince me.
I love leveling and will do that even with this boost, stop talk for everyone else and start talk for yourself.

In Gehennas, only brd got 300+ bots. Imagine rest of the game world.

Your selfish reasons to pay real money to have advantge over those who cant is your thing and will just show Blizzard that they can implement more pay service as people will buy it
It will hurt the game as history tell us that with pay servise quality of the game drops (as was the case in and after WOTLK)

Iâm not paying real money to have advantage over anyone⌠Heck, a player that is leveling from scratch will get all the crafting done in the process. I pay because I will play with a friend that will be alliance on a different server.
Also your âmathâ means jack S** since bots will be around until they get banned from the game. That botters will spend more money before ban is just a good thing, whether you realise that or not.

But thats just the thing. ANY thing can drive someone away, Most of the games that iâve stopped playing had nothing to do with developer decisions, it was either not having the time for it, or online interactions that made the game not fun for me. Guess what, Online interactions is one of the things developers have the least impact on.
Buying a character boost that isnât to max level, and doesnât give you max level gear is definatly not going to give me a reason to stop playing. If it does for you, you should really consider why you are playing the game in the first place

Hmm, then tell me, why despite the heirlooms were present in the WOTLK, it didnât ruin the game? Like, I donât remember world flooded by bots and destroyed economy and heirlooms have all presumptions to do that, more likely than 1-time boost per acc.
I personally hate heirloom, because I donât like anything what should ease your leveling progress, but thatâs for me. What I did? I didnât use heirloom at all, and play how I wanted. World around? Was it destroyed by heirloom? Nah. The WOTLK was one of the most favourite expansion. TBC is also one of the best (the best maybe?), thus history and experiences is indicating no âboostarmageddonâ will happen. Look into another MMORPG games today, with their âboostingâ strategy, pay X you get +XP bonus. Are those games broken? The answer is: no.

They give more money to Blizzard before ban⌠I see that as a good thing. Botters will exist either way lol. Blizzard is banning them, and hopefully faster in TBC.
Play the game how YOU want, and dont be so selfish turning away potential returning players dude.

Why would they ban bots faster? So the bot spends more money to blizz AND farms gold 80 times faster. Both blizzard and bots win, players lose.

Blizzard need time to catch a bot (lets say 10 days and that is very optimistic)
in 10 days bot need to level 1-58 which he will make 1g/hr
in 10 with 58lvl he can allrdy do 100g/hr
wihtout boost bot farm 240g (lets say 300g)
with boost bot farm 24 000g in 10 days (probably more)
15$=1 000 gold
Do I need to calculate more?

Things that were invented in WOTLK (as heirlooms), hurt the game in long run
After they were implemented the did not went away, they just became more integrated into the game
TBC/WOTLK is concidered to be best expansions in WoW but pay service will not make game better.
If TBC was the best without pay service, why do we need it now?

Because this needs to happen, this is where the real issue lies. And as you say it might even be a bigger issue now with the boosts, which is why we should demand bigger effort to ban these bots. Not take away the boost.
Something tells me this isnât the main reason you donât want the boost, but just makes this sound so important for you lol. It is important ofc, but its up to Blizzard to take action against botters.

The bulk of the people using this will just be regular players. I think itâs great that theyâve made this boost so that people can pick up TBC and jump straight in and play with their friends. Itâs not like Retail where you can buy limitless boosts itâs one per account.

Any pre existing characters players bring in from Classic will mostly be 60, you are even two levels behind others.
This is definitely the issue and across all the WoW games botting is dealt with by reporting them. Botting will exist either way.

Assuming blizzard will do something when they havenât said anything is not gonna pay off. I hope Iâm wrong ofc, but it does not look like it. There are countless of videos on YouTube showing bots flyhacking around in the world and just doing a /who BRD will show 20+ guildless rogues on my server 24/7 pickpocket raw gold.
And yeah itâs not the main reason I think boost are bad, but itâs the most harmfull to everyone. The biggest reason Imo is that you should not be able to pay for time in a game.
Also the fact that blizzard said a year ago âboost will never be apart of classicâ what, the burning crusade CLASSIC is not classic???
