Not a troll post or meant to anger people, just a genuine question.
I’m ranking right now and played 12ish AVs this week when I home from work. I’ve not lost an AV yet (Not bumped into a premade yet) and I just wandered, why is this?
Each AV I’ve played we’ve held Galv, pushed and got SHB/IB and gone on to cap all the bunkers and get Drekk.
I can’t fathom why, though. Is it because the Horde racials are that above the curve they push the fight in there favour? Is it because the average horde players tends to be more PvP minded or is it because Alliance have just given up in AV?
As someone that plays a 60 mage on both factions, what I’ve noticed is, alliance seem to give up easier, by this a mean they write things like just let them win, afk now, where as horde fight for the win a lot more, maybe it’s because horde wait so long in the queue, a dunno.
Alliance’s biggest problem is that all the High rank good pvpers are premading leaving the pugs with the crap, while horde can’t premade meaning horde pugs have good players in it every AV.
Only my 2 cents - but if alliance had same queue time as horde they might put more into it. What most allies fail to see is that with the length of an average AV today they dont get more honor pr hr. due to instant queues, unless they belong to a premade.
Horde is full of pvp tryhards meanwhile alliance is full of nelf priest/human paladin gamer dads.
You think that alliance back pedalling acrub at SH is afk ? He is just changing diapers.
All the high rank alliance players are in premades. So when happens a pug vs pug match alliance team does not have the best geared (and sometimes skilled) players while horde has all kind of players inside.
Seeing it from horde prerspective I either meet all very high ranks or very low ranks. Is easy to predict how the match would end before it starts
They have the worse players and their pugs are filled with bots and semi afks. All that combined with the short queue. They get to lose every game. Sucks to be them.
Alliance for some reason has not developed a strategy beyond “rush galv”. Horde instantly engages the rush at the middle and instead of everyone fighting some alliance players will dismount and some will ride past. Usually like 10 people will get to galv which is not really enough to engage him and lts. After that alliance will most likely be chocked and farmed at sh graveyard for a while while some guys will go south and farm lts for honor.
To put it in short alliance doesn’t even try to win. The instant queue we have just encourages people to go over and over in av and try and maximise their gains if they’re not in a premade.
The maps very imbalanced lol. And horde racials are better for large scale PvP. Theres literally nothing more to it, I’m horde and can very clearly see that. If you think 99% of horde are out skilling alliance, you’re an absolute moron.
Look at post 19, sums it right up with pictures and facts lol.
Alliance basically get off on a bad start with a linger path to galv. They get way more bottleknecks, with 1 path through. They have to get through 2 towers shooting you before the base. Horde can run side wall and skip a tower, get an easy back door entrance. And can pull last boss easier with an NPC. Yes alliance can pally pull, bit all it takes is one frost mage to naff that up.
Post below is your typical We iZ hOrDE 99% bETtER sKilLeD nonsense lol.
They lose because they get bottled into a graveyard every single game.
The question is, why do they allow themselves to be in that position? In the Field of Strife, Horde charge at the Alliance, while they go into full evasive maneuvers and will not make eye contact with anyone with a PvP flag.
Here’s a novel idea - fight back. You could actually win some games.
AV imbalance (even though most horde don’t admit they have a huge advantage in the current meta), insane pvp racials, more bots/afk on alliance and most pvp minded people choosing Horde. Combine everything and you now know why alliance just stops playing BGs. I can’t imagine it being fun to lose 95% of BG pugs (yes, also WSG and soon AB) while you can’t do anything about it as a solo player. Also, the “world pvp” is terrible for alliance. The few alliance players roaming the world are often in PvE specs. It’s just a sad time to be an alliance. The Horde pandering by blizzard will really lose them a lot of alliance subs, which will screw over the alliance even more (and Horde queues).
I’ve seen some incredible alliance players just destroying everyone, but not impacting the game outside of where they are at that moment. I think everyone has had the feeling they were carrying a game, but just couldn’t win. That’s the feeling of every decent alliance pugger EVERY game. That can’t be fun. No wonder they try to premade or quit altogether.
thats because after 15 minutes 3/4 of team starts to scream “let them win and reque” because its more time effective then spending another 20 minutes just to loose.
This is your answer to everything, even in the other thread where I explained we farmed alliance high rankers in midfield, even when the numbers was around even, the hardest fights we had was against some of the low rankers.
My point being, they didn’t have there premade that game to carry them, so there high rank didn’t mean a thing.
