Why do people complain when you skip bosses in leveling dungeons?

That is perfectly reasonable behavior as Blizzard have crushed all sense of community in this game, why would you care about a random dps you will never meet again when you as tank can have instaqueues and are the defacto puller/leader anyway?

lol this sums up everything wrong with wow nowadays

What is wrong with go-go-go exactly ?

I just hope i never see you in any dungeon groups.

Such a garbage mentality.

Almost like you are completely devoid of common sense.

Yes because killings packs after packs of mobs to go do a braindead tank and spank boss with no actual reward is the sensible things to do, especially when no one wants to do it anyways. I think people with your selfish mentality should play single player games rather than mmos.

Feels like most people in this thread are disagreeing with you.

So maybe you are the selfish one?

They weren’t in my dungeon group though.

Curious, someone did. More probably did in groups that don’t want to speak up in LFG because vote kick exists. You also talk about dungeons like you hate them, just there for the XP yeah? Why don’t you just buy a boost and save everyone else. You can do that in retail.

“most people”

meanwhile everyone in game skips and doesnt care lmao, there’s the rare person that gets annoyed that people are skipping, and it usually ends with that person leaving or getting kicked, majority wins

Not going to buy a boost because an extremely small minority wants to do all bosses while leveling

You are indeed the “odd” one out, as usual.

The only odd thing is to want to do slow leveling while the end game is at max level

Why would i want to reach max level on my 1000th alt?

Maby i just enjoy doing low level stuff.

As you know… a break from the “GoGoGo” mentality of max level?

I mean that’s your choice, do that with people that think the same way you do, if you want to level slow that’s on you, a majority of players want to be max level to do the actual end game

What end game? The only thing ‘new’ at the end of the leveling is some questlines and a raid, which if you really wanna… You can see it all in a day. Why not skip those raids/gearing paths and wait for another patch, another expansion? The real end game is when they stop updating the game rite?

Don’t use that bad logic again, thanks. If you really think end-game is all that matters, go ahead. Buy level boosts, so you can buy some raid boosts, m+ boosts, etc. Or, do you enjoy doing raids, m+? Oh geeze, people during leveling can enjoy leveling and dungeons? Well then I guess all the points people have been slamming at you went full /r/woosh on you huh?

This should appear as a tip during the loading screen.

Honestly, this is retail mentality - everyone for themselves. From what I see in classic people are so helpful I’m really shocked. I didn’t know kidness still exists in MMO.

Depends on dungeon . In some ,especially older ones you can take shortcut and save a lot of time by skipping ,also in some dungeons skip doesn’t make sense but people still do it for god know what reason.

For example ,i did shrine of the storms yesterday with my bm hunter and tank decided to skip first two bosses despite the fact we had to clear all trash up and between those bosses. aka we cleared 95 % of dungeon, but skipping bosses which require minuscule overall time of dungeon somehow if efficient :man_facepalming:

Then again in motherlode ,first we spent 10 minutes "conjuring evil plan " how to execute skip ( i remained silent ,just to be clear )
Then tank chosen the most hideous trash route as part of skipping ??? ,despite the fact no matter which trash route you choose you end up in boos rooms.

Play the game ?

For some peoples, they actually want to play and enjoy the game and not just go to max level in 10 mn…

If you want a speedrun in a dungeon, form your own group, time yourself and win yourself a cookie and think “Oh boy I did it, now what?”

The majority wants to speedrun, stop being so selfish.
