Why do you all want to kill Tyrande so much?

Lets focus on this.
Since you like her, she cannot be killed.
Yet what you dont like must be killed.

Pure adult logic here mate

Powerful female characters always mean ‘Mary Sue’, to a certain demographic and apparently that is a capital offence… strangely, if it happens with a male character it’s not a problem: Example: Luke ‘Gary Stu’ Skywalker, Star Wars Episode Four.
Borrowed power?..say hello to Arthas ‘Gary Stu’ Menethil.

Blokes need to give their head a wobble…there’s a reason women do not like having a man walk down the street behind them, at night… venomous threads demanding the death of female characters, does nothing to change that image.

Because if she goes there is a slight chance that Maiev takes over which of course would make everyone happy since she is objectively a more compelling and interesting character than Tyrande ever was. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I say what I mean and I mean what I say, therefore I don’t find another way to say that the Alliance didn’t properly responded to Horde agressions through out of WoW history.

I feel like Sylvanas is wearing a pretty rock solid plot armour :x

What about, when they ask male characters to be killed ?
Is it ok, because it’s male characters not female characters ?

Cheers.

Hmmmm…don’t get me wrong, I like Maiev… just not sure how replacing Tyrande and her single-minded pursuit of vengeance on Sylvanas, with Maiev Shadowsong, who has a similar reputation for singe-minded vengeance, is making a huge change at the top?

Especially considering the fact, that in Shadows Rising, Maiev states that the death of Sylvanas, is not sufficient vengeance/compensation, since she was not alone at the Burning of Teldrassil, ie. Maiev holds the entire Horde faction responsible.

The fact Maiev showed empathy towards Sira Moonwarden, should probably not be extrapolated too far…Sira was a fallen Warden and Nightelf, who had despaired, after the burning of Teldrassil and being raised as Forsaken…and blamed Maiev, as well as Tyrande, for her plight.

Nope…male or female, the character has to be a proper villain…loud demands for Characters to be killed, because they are ‘too nice’…should give people genuine pause for thought, about those demanding it.

To be honest Tyrande had always been kind of a stuck up jerk in her own way.

Narrow minded, dogmatic, usually not taking action and just sitting doing nothing.
The only thing that changed now is that she got attacked close enough at home to finally start caring enough to drop the Dior dress and the high heels

Welp, she is now kerbstomping and head collecting.
By the way, how’s Anduin Wrynn? I heard we gotta go save him… because you humans let Sylvanas yeet your King out from under your noses…in your Capital city… in broad daylight?

You must mean Princess Anduin

Bit harsh…his Dad turned out ok… maybe he’s just a late developer, not to mention he’s a fairly capable Paladin when the blight hits the fan.
Although admittedly, the less said about the tactical plan, that put the Alliance army in front of the fan, in the first place, the better… I blame Genn, since he has far more combat experience.

Or perhaps dealing with the Mawsworn valkyr requires someone to have a built in orbital defense system that requires no somatic or verbal compoments

Ill play on my alliance and still want to crucify her, for the memes :3

You mean like all those Gryphon squadron patrols, in Stormwind’s air space…or the fact he was standing right next to a massive Worgen at the time?
Face it, you were caught with your trousers round your ankles, 'Brew’master.

I guess I have to post of my edgy scary face elf character as well…
Simply nobody expected the Mawish Inquisition

Personally, because every time they try to use her and “fix” her character they fail at it. Tyrande was always a character with a pubescent attitude. She’s terrible in books and even more so in game. So yeah, put her out of her misery.

Gul’Dan was stronger than both of them combined. None of them would have even put a scratch to him.

She has murdered and given the order to murder innocent during WCIII. Namely the Horde. For simply felling trees. Not even once comming to the conclusion that non hippie races MIGHT only know this way of getting wood rather than having it magically created by wisps.

Also instantly throwing a tantrum when her Husband suggested being allies with the Horde and Alliance seeing as how they fought the Legion claiming they killed Nelfs and Cenarius while completely forgetting the fact that Cenarius ATTACKED the Horde unprovoked in the first place and as such forced the Horde (or at least the ones being there) to drink the Demon Blood and to kill Cenarius. The only nelf being even more stupid than her is Malfurion given how he instantly sucked it up when Tyrande told her that and not even wondering “hmm…thats odd. Were there ANY reasons my love? Hmmmm??? You know, you got a temper and all that”

Oh and while im at it. It was also HER that didnt want to give up Mount Hyjal/ Nordrassil (and with that their immortality) in the first place when it was suggested to use it as bait to deal with Archimonde. It took Malfurion to tell her that if they think like that then they have lived for too long.

She is also so borderline arrogant its flat out annoying. She always believes shes is right and everyone is wrong etc. It literally took medivh to tell her to keep her filthy mouth shut or face the consequences (which she then did infact shut given she didnt dare to cross a being a bazilion times stronger than her or her entire race)

And lets also not forget that she literally broke her own peoples rules (the same for why Illidan was condemned) by freeing Illidan and slaughtering countless Wardens in the process. This is an act of treason btw and only because of Malfurion she wasnt executed for it.

And she, just as much as Malfurion, didnt even bother to say a simple “ye sorry i was wrong Illidan” when he literally gave his final farewell to be the Warden of Sargeras for the rest of time. Tyrande even questioning whether he truly meant what he told her in this last message depsite there being no indication whatsoever of him ever lying to her or anyone after we found out about his true motives. Questionable methods yes. However he didnt lie.

She is also a freaking amateur in warfare despite her being an old hag. Even Varian had more knowledge on how to properly execute tactics than she did. She was flat out poop during pandaria.

Tyrande can go… herself.

Erm, they weren’t just some border guards. They were a druid delegation led by the archdruid Elerethe Renferal who were at the meeting with Hamuul Runetotem.

That’s why Elerethe was assaulting Thunder Bluff in the Emerald Nightmare raid, because she was blinded by the nightmare and thought that Hamuul had betrayed her and that he was the one responsible for her death.
