Why do you hate Alliance side so much, blizzard?

that would cause a reverse of the faction drain towards the aliance- in 2 years they can re-add them for a balanced population

But you seem to forget the years method was alliance for ages while your racials were considered more OP. So not entirely true…

Limit transferred to the horde in BoD, so pretty recently also.

And mechagnomes are being released in a overpowered state in 8.3.

So not really true, Neither of these guilds went horde for bloodelves. Although I’m sure this had its effect with with the casual player base. This isn’t why top end raiding guilds transfered

The pendulum just swung. Alliance had a lot of its super strong racials nerfed while horde didn’t. It pushed horde racials to be considered stronger which is when they swapped.

But alliance had years of dominating with its racials. So realistically horde was in the same position for years also.

Mechagnomes will prolly turn it back around. With alliance leading :stuck_out_tongue: as their racials are stupidly strong.

This does need fixing, the major problem is. I don’t think it’s entirely fixable. I was gonna go alliance (I actually prefer it) but my friends and family are horde  So I can’t switch reguardless of what goes on

PvP isn’t even separate thanks to mercenary mode…

Yes, and the racial is still dominating.

Meanwhile Zandalari just wouldn’t be left alone until their racials were pushed to bottom tier.

Not that racials are really the reason people go Horde anyway.

OP conveniently forgets that Horde used to get World Firsts even when Alliance had the superior racials.

Alliance is dying yes, not because of horde bias though, but players like you.

Just figured something out! Celes and Retributor had a baby boy…and they named him Türiel.

Whenever this discussion comes up, it reminds me of Uldir and how Alliance argued around it.
Blood Elves racial made the Zul fight easier, it mostly mattered in the later part of the fight and it was somewhat RNG over who gets it, because it’s not like you’d get Blood Elves to run over and dispel while the fight is a dps check.

Trolls were also pretty high in the DPS charts. Fairly early in the expansion, very low amounts of secondary stats and thus no diminishing returns on haste, normal stuff.

Back then Alliance players would argue as if every raid group is made by 20 Troll characters when it came to DPS checks and 20 Blood Elves when doing Zul.

Schrodinger’s Horde raid groups.

Meanwhile, even Method were raiding with Sco being on an undead monk, just for a minor example that Horde raids are more diverse than people think.

And for every Nightborne warrior or rogue, which we do have plenty, we lose 1% that no Alliance race loses, fyi. Since the Horde has the only allied race with an outdated racial that only benefits specific classes.

hehe, how often i heard this

alliance warmode exp increase was because Horde is to overpowered. the things you say just make the story even more true.
i always played Horde then switched to alliance when Tanaan jungle unlocked.
now i am back Horde and i see that Horde is much powerfull then Alliance. so Yes Blizzard Favors the Horde. they always did and they probably ever will. mechagnomes are dumb so even if they have powerfull racials not many players will play them. look at the zandalari racials even Horde players complained about them beeing to freaking OP on the PTR. on PTR you couldn’t even kill a zandalari troll because of the OP racials. so get over it. Blizzard favors the Horde. it would have been great and the right time to remove the factions. and i know people will cry about it. but it’s world of warcraft not world of lovecraft. Horde and Alliance haven’t been at war for years we always team up to fight a big bad evil. in legion we all joined the same classhalls. it didn’t make any sence to be at war again in BFA. turns out we are not at war we are teaming up again. to fight big evil.

as I said in an other post, it would be, but due to EU having like 50+ servers or so, it aint, becuse people are to scattered arround, yes it can work whit communities, but not for high end raiding, merging servers in a way where both horde and alliance gets high end servers would be a thing, and at same time, give out free faction transfer for those who play horde on alliance heavey servers and vice versa, and also for new players and rerollers, put out on server selection, a tag telling of server is alliance or horde dominated.
doing this would make it way more playable for both factions, specialy for alliance whom now are all over the place, whit like 2 servers working against hordes 10 or so servers that do work.

doing that would make the gameplay better for many.

Also other problem is the races them selfs, horde got the more intresting ones, where Alliance have how should i put it, bland races to some extent.
I do think Vulpera is the final nail the coffin also, those who want to play a cute race, will transfer sooner or later.

Literally the only time when Alliance attracted players. And it was short lived too.

Meanwhile in Vanilla/TBC/Wotlk will of the forsaken, orc racials, and onward with the other racials etc etc

Although you’re right about the self insert, it didn’t start in wc3 lol. Alliance were the majority in vanilla

I don’t see the problem to allow cross-faction dungeons, raids, etc. It would be purely for gameplay reasons.
In canon the factions would still be separate from each other just like they’ve always been. You wouldn’t see humans in Orgrimmar or orcs in Stormwind.

On a similar note, in rated PvP you can face off against your own faction on battlegrounds. Even though it doesn’t make any sense given the story of those battlegrounds. It’s purely for gameplay reasons.

The answer to your question is simple:
The Horde is simply cooler, therefore more people flock towards the Horde :smirk:

Well I just wish it doesant turn into world of Hordecraft because you will have nobody to PvP with and horde would only exist then.

I do think there has been some serious mistakes in specialy what race goes to what faction, starting whit Vanilla.

Fosaken should not have been playable ever, horde should have had ogres or goblins from start.
Blood elfs and high elfs should both have been introduced in TBC whit Dranei and Goblin or ogre, depending on what horde got in vanilla.

the allied races whent wrong also.
Nigthborne should have been Alliance not horde, the hole story was quite bs on why they joined horde.
so highmountain to horde, nightborne to alliance, and introdcuing Mag´thar skin to orcs, and lighforged dranei skins to dranei.
void elfs would have stayed as an neutral faction, giving both alliance and horde a skin to use instead.

in BFA Kul tiran should have been a skin for humans instead including the skinny ones, zandalari could have been a playable race, where alliance would have gotten sethraks instead or frubolgs due to they beeing alliade whit the night elfs anyways.

Now, go on WoWprogress to check what we’re meaning when we’re saying : “Horde >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> kitten”. And what’s left of Alliance raiding is moving Horde or is quitting.

Forsaken should never have been playable, Night Elves first later on.
Leave the two factions with three races only in vanilla

Blood Elf to Horde and Draenei to Alliance in TBC as it was done.

Skip WOTLK.

Goblins join Horde in Catalysm, Night Elves finally join the Alliance in Catalysm when the Horde starts pushing harder.

Mists of Pandaria, pandaren do not become a playable race.

Warlords of Draenor; Ogres join the Horde, Alliance gets Jinyu.

Legion: Blood Elf and Night Elf demon hunters as it was done.

BFA: Void Elves are a neutral race (Not playable) after Alleria is done training them. Nightborne join Horde through Blood Elves, Lightforged Draenei join the Alliance through the Draenei and Turalyon.

Kul’tiran humans for Alliance; change their lore to a mixed breed of Drust and Humans far in the past, Zandalari trolls for Horde.

Vulpera for Horde, Ethereals for Alliance through Alleria and Locus walker.

Mag’har orcs for Horde, Mechagnomes for Alliance.

Fixed.
