Why do you hate Alliance side so much, blizzard?

Nightborne neutral race too because their reason not to join alliance is retarded.

Nah.

A proud people who wants influence in the world will naturally seek one of the two largest faction with the greatest influence.

One side has vile people who obviously hates them deeply, that is the side of the Alliance they are presented to, they also have nothing in common with that branch of their ancient people.

The other side has welcoming, warm people who manage to sweet-talk them and who is actively helping the Nightborne survive, not just fight Elisandre and prevent disaster. They also have a lot more in common with the Blood Elves.

It makes sense.

WHat does not make sense is the lack of objections from anyone in BFA when Sylvanas wanted to start the war, but that is a whole other matter.

The issue is that on the “higher level pve/pvp” you will not remove the top guilds from horde, which will give them recruiting as everyone wanting to be “top raider/pvp” will join horde as well.

Alliance has players, but not much organised top level stuff going on, which is fine for people like me that don’t bother much, but not so great for raiders.

The allied races were all a bit meh, short of dark irons and vulpera.

As for the trashgnomes…wow they are ugly.

Actually you are both wrong. He was into his female dwarf trainer who died some time ago. Yes, this is canon.

That sounds really dumb.

Wreck the other faction to make yours popular…

In fairness, looking at who posted it, I wasn’t exactly expecting great things…

Lol @ horde racial complaints in nightborne.

Still rocking that dmg passive that has no benefit for some classes, and their saving grace (the magic Dr) was nerfed to arcane only because?

Their active is also very situationally useful (and only on classes with next to no mobility).

No joke, their best racial in terms of consistent benefit (across all classes) is the mailbox one, which can be emulated via various means.

I speculate whoever designed the nightborne racials did the mag har ones as well. Everyone ignores these two races when talking of horde op racials. Their racials are pretty garbage and far weaker than any alliance racials.

It was a reaction towards the criticism coming from the Alliance-players, I guess.

So he’s into dwarfs good to know.

When we talk allied races it is all about personal preferences and very subjective. I personally don’t like Vulpera as a playable race. Yes, the story in Vol’dun is awesome and Nisha is the warchief of my choice, but vulpera as a playable race are boring.

While mechagnomes are awesome. Steampunky, fancy and all. For a short time i hoped horde is going to get mechagoblins with the things goblins learned in mechagon. But no, we get smaller red pandaran.

But this is all personal opinion and feelings. Therefore it’s impossible to argue some kind of horde/alliance bias with allied races. I’m not impling you this was your intention, but all to often in Discussions it’s going this route and it sucks.

It’s beyond me why Blizzard and some people are so afraid of cross-faction play. Maybe you simply don’t understand how it works? Then let me enlighten you on that, i’ll also give you a real exmaple of MMO where it worked really well. I am not sure how many people played The Elder Scrolls Online, but this game originally launched with monthly sub fee, 3 factions and no cross-faction play. And it really didn’t do that well. They changed sub fee to Buy to Play system and later added cross-faction play. And it worked great for this MMO.
What it changed is that you can play with people regardless of faction, factions are still there, they didn’t remove them, PVP is still a thing and faction only not mixed factions here.
So why are people and blizzard so afraid of it? There’s nothing to fear, rest assured. It’s not asking for removal of factions, far from it. And everything would stay the same as it is now with the exception of ability to play with people/friends regardless of faction, that’s it…
Get out of your comfort zone Horde players for once and see how thing really are. It’s not like you got only wolves for 8.0 factions or you’re outnumbered all the time in war mode. You need to understand, that blizzard treat you better than Alliance. Faction balance got out of hand that it’s no longer funny you know.
You get everything you ask for, as for Alliance we get everything after compromise see Void Elves as example or bee mount as compensation for horse only mounts… Now that you understand how cross-faction play system would work blizzard should reconsider and add it or else they can remove the Alliance and rename game to World of HordeCraft. Is this what Horde players and blizzard want, hmm?

It’s always amusing to see some Alliance players thinking that Horde players, just get up in the morning, inhale that sweet smell of Horde Bias in the morning air and just think about something they want to further increase their personal comfort and Blizzard instantly makes it happen.

I would be really interested to see the actual data. Real data not a poll website where you can access it from various locations to stack votes for the side you agree with

I’d like to know what would you and other Horde players say if your side was in the Alliance’s position. Imagine for a minute that roles are reversed and it is the Alliance that is dominating high end PVP, PVE and warmode, you also got wolves for your 8.0 factions. How would you feel? You probably have no idea how it is to be treated so badly by blizzard and i bet you will never understand that.

Oh yes, the usual lines that come before the payoff demand. So, what is it you want this time? Blefs? OP racials? Obvious preferential treatment?

They should totally make an experimental 1 server … just call it Emerald Nightmare, and make one happy faction and see what happens.

This is comes across as another Horde Bias rant. We don’t get everything we ask for. Not by a long shot. We are as ignored or listened to as any other player of this game.

Not all the players want cross play and whether you agree with it or not you have to respect that is their opinion. It doesn’t mean people don’t understand how it works. It means they understand how it works, have seen it in other games and do not want that to happen to World of Warcraft.

RIFT for example had a dwindling player base and you essentially level through storylines suited to the faction you chose but the whole time you can be in the same guild, talk in all the same channels etc. The factions are basically meaningless at this point.

I can understand why Alliance players in particular, but there are also Horde in favour, want this but it’s not solving the actual problem. If there is low engagement in the Alliance faction then that is what needs to be solved. How will playing cross faction improve the Alliance filling the Hall of Fame. Essentially they’d have scrap the Hall of Fame, hiding the slower Alliance participation and release cross realm mythic at a set point in time late on in a patch. So nothing will improve for that faction.

To you it’s a magical solution to your issues with the game. To me it’s the erosion of the most basic premis of the game. We are not friends, we are enemies. We are on opposite factions.

the issue is also that we’ve had 2-3 expansions, depending how you count, where alliance story basically was"be something for the horde to beat on, until the horde decides they’ve had enough, then you can help them a bit to remove the boss and no consequences at all for horde agression"

How you solve this ? The faction is fine, racials are fine, but since it is trendy to be Horde now (as afterall method is Horde!) - then people go by the trend and Blizzard cannot fix that. Even this thread has impact. new player sees this thread thinks that Alliance is dead, goes Horde.

There.

But the story has concluded now. Or do you want to team up again the coming expansion just because something bad happens? People are tired of this plot structure, it’s time for a change.
