Im playing on Twisting Nether, a Horde realm, and Alliance a everywhere
Am i the only one actually getting good shards? like sure every now and then you get a one sided shard pop wise, but most off the time it’s nice and balanced.
I would just never lvl in wpvp because you could not go for 5 minutes without some 120 horde coming along that does nothing else but kill low lvls all day
whaaaat, so strange. I play on aggramar ally, and when i ventured into warmode all i saw was kazzak hordies
No, he is right. The statistics are that on average, the number of Alliance players is significantly lower than the number of Horde players. While you may certainly get into shards that are Alliance dominated, that doesn’t mean that all the shards are.
Furthermore, did you think of how a system that is supposed to try to balance the shards would possibly work? It would be far more likely for a new joining player to be placed in a shard where their faction is outnumbered in an attempt to balance out that shard by bringing more of the undermanned faction there, rather than adding you to a shard where your faction is already in higher numbers than the opponents. If you would spend a larger amount of time in Warmode, there is a good probability for that shard to tip over at some point in favor of your faction, whichever that faction may be. Either way, you cannot infer the situation on the shards you are not in based on what is happening on the shard you are in, that much is certain.
Now, the system Blizzard has in place for the Warmode buff takes into account all the shards that exist during a week, not just yours, and given how the Alliance player base is lower than the Horde player base, probably the number of Alliance dominated shards are also lower than the number of Horde dominated shards, hence the buff for the Alliance.
Good one
War Mode is not free xp/ap/gold/rep mode!
You ain’t doin it right.
You are not on your realm in WM.
That’s my experience.
Logical.

Yea, beware. There are many sensible kiddos here that for any wrong word they imediatelly report you. I was temporary banned many times.
What is funny is that theese cats know only to report instead to think giving a good reply.
Drama queens everywhere…
Pot, kettle, black.
From time to time it gets dominated by the alliance yes, due to forming raids in shards, but the majority of times it is dominated by the horde.
Long story short. Roll ally if you want bigger buff, if more people did then they wouldnt be such an imbalance and things might actually turn even. Its only getting worse from what i see the bonus has doubled since before 8.2 as people roll horde.
If you want a challenge in wpvp and bonus then more should go ally youre always fighting atleast 2v1 they is no way ally outnumber horde apart from on RP
The rewards are provided through a % of players on both factions that have warmode enabled. The fact its been 30% and will stay there for next week too for 3 concurrent weeks simply tells you why. The horde have a much larger percentage of players with warmode enabled than alliance.
Just remove warmode all together pls.
Nah, I like it.
Ofc, if someone doesn’t like it, they could just not do it, rather than remove from game
Just get good and you can finish your quests
Tonight was weird, there were so many Russian and Spanish alliance everywhere in almost every shard that I joined.
Well, I’m on AD and it has been great so far. Almost no Horde-players, you can easily level a character with the 30% EXP-buff and most of the times everyone is happy here.
But I do of course know how it is on normal servers when I switch them for the 415-overwheelming odds/kill x Horde-players party quests. The complains are legit and there are simply too many Horde-players outside the RP-bubble with no real balancing to it.

[/quote]The Horde isn’t on RP shards, I can guarantee you that!
The complaints are legit? At least Alliance gets an incentive to WM on when they’re outnumbered. Blizz thinks it’s fine when it’s the other way around though.
Their setup is based on the US-community. I’m riding the “legal abuse” while it lasts. I recommend everyone doing the same. Work smarter, not harder.
Oh don’t get me wrong, you should. I don’t blame Alliance players for Blizzard’s obvious lack of competition (and thus incompetence) in this genre.
