Why Early Access Ruins the Fun for Everyone

There is if herbs are in zones you either have no opened up yet or are not strong enough to do yet.

All throughout wow, herbs have been in zones and this has not really changed much

I herb a lot. I know the game. Of herbing that is. How the herbs are usually laid out or placed and the fact that frequently ,herbs are near patrolling mobs so you get agro, unless you are really slow and careful not to get spotted.

Yeah, sure. You can gather herbs/ore while you level - in your one zone. So you are at a disadvantage since you are only able to gather one type of herb while those with EA can gather then all and then start to make consumables and sell them. Thereby setting the markets.

Estimated Queue Time: 3 Days 18 Hours 47 Minutes

“Where are all the tanks?” they ask.
“Still level 71”.
“Oh, I guess I can do some pet battles til they get here.”

People setting the market happens, regardless.
There’s always going to be fanatics who rush and rush and grind and grind.

That is just a funny, silly comment.

Making assumptions that all people with EA will either be healers or DPS and not tanks?

Do you honestly believe your own comment? One that relies on the notion that no tanks will have leveled at all during EA and that only DPS and healers made?

Have you played BETA and tested this theory of the herbs. Are you sure there are certain herbs growing in certain zones only or is it the same as DF where they spawn all over ?

Does not matter if you only gather one herb while levelling or all of them. There still is no advantage with EA. Especially if the professions are turned off and herbing does not count towards your skill points.

It’s no assumption that MOST players play DPS. That’s a fact.
People at max level will be short on tanks and healers (in general) for sure.

Just like the start of every expansion. I know I play healer and I get to gather a ton of those satchels.

True.

But in this case it will be people who are paying more for the game in terms of cash who are getting the advantage. They are buying an advantage with real life cash.

Those who do not pay for this EA will be left behind and i bet blizzard loves me for pointing this out as it just promotes this FOMO. This will have a cost to blizzard. It will. There will be fallout after this.

This is so totally not fair it is not even funny. And people are ok with this?

My point is that the number of players who’ll no-life it to max level is small and they’ll struggle to form groups.

But also even with regular launches you’ll have players who no-life it to max and are there before some folk even log in when they get home from work the next day.

Also who the eff cares if someone is doing a heroic dungeon a couple of days earlier than someone else?
This expansion will be around for 2 years (give or take a few months). 3 days early in a dungeon won’t matter a jot after a week.

Using caps now?

Not entertaining your thoughts. Have a ncie day.

Why is ‘willing to spent money’ worse than ‘willing to spent time’?
In the real world often ‘time = money’.

Both of it is a choice. You either want to spend X or not.
Your choice. Choices have consequences.

Such a first world problem though. :kissing_heart:

Woooow. Really? Emphasizing 1 word with caps is ‘bad’ now?
Holy… You are something, my man.

Yeah byeeee.

News flash for you, you arent really pointing anything out. This has been discussed to death in numerous threads for the last 8 months.

And yes, there are people who are fine with it. Im one of them

Whether the number of no-lifers, who go at the game with hammer and tongs, is small or large, is by and large, irrelevant. Its the fact that they get to to it at all. The fact that that people who paid more money for this expansion get to have a headstart.

What happened to everybody starts at the same time barring time zones?

It changed. You’ll have to deal with it like an adult.

This actually lasts for around 6 mins after the launch, then within an hour or launch some people are far ahead of others because they just zoom the content. There will be people who dont have EA that reach 80 before some of the players with EA.

Exactly.

A lot of people with Early Access will realistically only get a few hours of gameplay in across those days; really a drop in the bucket when looking at a full season.

And there will be players who will be max level before the rest of us will even be starting. So what is your point?

So it was never “fair” as you put it, business as usual then.

What is yours?

It feels like you’re just making up weak arguments for the sake of complaining.

It’s fine to not like EA, but the reasons you’re bringing to the table are weak.

Whether EA or not. There will always be players who are max level before the rest. That is the point.
