Yesterday I won my final Shadowcraft Item missing for me to complete 6 pieces of the set and get the 6 piece Set Bonus. It was the Shadowcraft Tunic. THREE BAD NELF HUNTARDS IN THE RAID rolled against me and lost.
I don’t expect Huntards to understand. This isn’t aimed to Huntards but to those Hunters who are intelligent.

Perhaps you have seen the Rogue PVE PRE-BIS list spammed at mediocre (or bad) Raid guilds:

There are 2 problems with this PVE-BIS list:
a. It does not account for Alliance Greater Blessing Of Kings (+10% All Stats)
b. It is not accurate b/c a Rogue with 6 pieces Shadowcraft will do more damage in Raids. (see below)
The above set, proclaimed like the Gospel in bad guilds, has got WAY TOO MUCH +HIT which contributes less MAEP than raw stats which equals less DPS potential.
According to Shadowpanther Net calculations, the first Shadowcraft Set Bonus contributes +20 MAEP (40AP).
The second Shadowcraft Set Bonus (Chance to restore +30 Energy) contributes +30 MAEP. It is, in other words, equal to THIRTY (30) AGILITY OR 60 ATTACK POWER for Rogues who do raiding. This is a HUGE DPS INCREASE.
Having 6 set pieces returned to me enough energy for 42 Sinister Strikes in yesterday’s MC raid which mutiplied by 550, the average of my Sinister Strike hits and crits equals, 23650 extra damage!

ERRATA: Initially in this post I had argued that the Shadowcraft 6 Piece Set is good only for Human Swords Rogues.
However, this isn’t the case as with the Combat Tree Talents (assuming 5/5 Precision) Rogues of all races need just 1% chance to hit to cap, provided that they have got 305 weapon skill as they should have if they have taken the corresponding talents that award weapon skill points in the Combat Tree.
