I absolutely DO want RDF in from the start, but I would understand and somehow stomach it if they added it later. That’s not the situation we find ourselves in though, is it?
Auto DE was garbage from the start. It basicly r***d any Enchanter as soon as they where in a dungeon. I am glad it will not be in the game.
Dual spec should have limitations. And LFD/RDF should not be in the game. Play your Private server if you want that garbage.
i dont care about classic andy honest just add dungen finder make lvl alt so much ez on dead realms
As an enchanter in retail Wotlk and being one now I LOVED that button. It saves you so much headache with asking everyone whether you should need items for DE, distributing the materials fairly, wondering if you even should DE greens if the result may be worth less than vendor price if it’s dust etc.
I often don’t even mention I’m Enchanter in dungeons just to avoid all that. Just greed on items and DE them once the group dissolves. Removing that button is idiotic, they may insted just add a switch in enchanting window for “offer services in group content automatically” or something like that.
No, YOU go play private servers or Vanilla Era or SoM if you don’t want Wrath features in a Wrath recreation.
When people start calling about dual spec being bad… You really know these people gone all the way off the rails in their head.
It de-values the profession of Enchanting. If you want to DE for others then do it but do not force others to do it against their will.
Wrath did not have LFD untill the end of it’s life cycle, you guys want it in from the start.
it seems like it only in your eyes.
blizzard did the right choice to remove dungeon finder .
its funny that a retail players crys about LFD
People like you should’ve stayed on Vanilla or TBC if you didn’t like WotLK features, as many other ppl told you already. That’s really all that is to be said about it.
It’s not the retail players who want LFD. It’s the classic players who actually want to play classic and understand how it works. Retail doesn’t even have relevant LFD. You can’t queue for m+ for obvious reasons and it’s the only relevant dungeon content. Yeah leveling dungeons have LFD and anyone claiming that it’s not good for the game is just dumb. How it works out isn’t perfect, but the feature itself is needed.
The against LFD crow is mostly people who don’t have any idea how things work and have some kind of utopia about what classic player is. Just have a look at ironforge.pro population distributions, if you don’t get it, ah well that’s tough luck.
Go back to classic eras scrub. You want geared people for DUNGEONS, then say you form group to RESERVE items. Who is the noob now?
If you don’t like original WOTLK, stop demanding features to be removed and DON’T PLAY. The game shouldn’t be customized for the likes of the minority.
I think this is the main reason, not anything else you say in this post.
Yeah clearly I like to raid because I don’t like to interact with a bunch of people. Makes sense to you?
Tevura, try reading whole sentences It would help immensely. Zalanji is - from this whole sentence alone - not opposed to playing & talking to ppl while playing, but clearly opposed to those elitists who want to run the dungeon in 4,5 minutes instead of the 5 it would take if you just accept all and sundry
The worst part is that those elitists think they are some sort of “pro gamers” in a game that’s been out for 15 years. They are just following spreadsheets and that’s all. This behaviour solely breeds toxicity in this game.
Actually don’t think you are the majority at all.
Therefore, Blizzard don’t cater to it.
No need for LFD till ToC comes out when people quit the game till ICC
Just because you think something is true based on gut feelings, doesnt mean it is true by default.
Everyone would be ok with that, while some would prefer it being released earlier. But thats not the main point of these discussions. The main point is, that Blizzard announced to not introduce RDF at all and the vast majority of players (proof: polls) doesnt think its a a good decision to remove expansion features without good reasons.
I do agree. Wrath Classic should be as faithful a re-creation of Wrath as possible, this includes RDF, Dual spec (at level 40 and for a price), DE in dungeon groups with an Enchanter, Achievements, terrible AH, faction/race changes, and so on. Warts and all!
What I do not understand is why players think it is a good idea to ADD features not from this expansion?
Thats a good question, and the main reason is probably that these players dont like wotlk as it was. They want to play an altered version. Some want it closer to retail, some closer to vanilla.
I think its a legit question when to release features of an expansion, like dual spec was introduced in 3.1, because it was needed. The introduction of glyphs made switching talents unaffordable for many players (like pve-pvp swapping multiple times a week). Having this feature right from the beginning would make sense, since Blizzard themselves would have introduced it earlier back then too, because it was a fix for something broken.
Adding features from other expansions however, would alter the game and wouldnt stay true to the faithful recreation. If other features could get added, there would always be an argument that a “newer” feature would be an improvement. Blizzard today proves, that arguments can be generated even without much reason, like roleplayers having a problem with racechange or RDF not being wanted by the community.
Since nearly everyone has different opinions about how the game should be and the reason for later expansion features dont need solid reasons by Blizzard, it would be the best to keep all original features to an expansion and not adding others to it. Otherwise, we will end up with an abomination that wont even be close the quality of the original game.
And ppl like you should stay on Private servers when you dont like how wrath was.
