Why is blizzard ignoring the community on dungeon finder?

Unless blizz them selves make an in-game poll you get when you log in that you can not skip, no poll is reliable.

included LFD, DE in groups wiht Enchanter, Dual Spec (after level 40 and for a price), Race/faction changes, achievements, … Not all of it at launch, and that’s how it should be again. And please don’t tell me to go to a private server, I never played on any, and I have no intention of starting now.
#NoChanges!

If they gona include that do it in the timly manner it came. But the ppl here dont want that, they want it from the get go. Or best case, maybe after P1 when in reality it came with the laast phase (well, i guess ruby sanctum is it’s own fail phase so the secopnd to last phase then).

With this reasoning there should be RDF in wotlk, because Blizzard just claims what players want, too. Blizzard didnt even attempt to ask players, so the polls are the only numerical community feedback we have until now.
Even if we argue there is no reliable data about players preferences at the moment, the game should be recreated faithfully instead of removing a feature because a part of the community, which noone knows how big it is, doesnt like it for reasons like “I cant reserve items and cherry pick my group members anymore”.

Most pro RDF players here would welcome Blizzard announcing they will release the feature when it was back in the day. A good number of players would just prefer to have it earlier, since the RDF fixes many problems. The thing is: we havent heard anything from Blizzard besides them not introducing the feature in wotlk. Therefore the players pro RDF asap and pro RDF faithfully in 3.3 are one united voice for RDF.

Listen here cringe nerds. Blizzard is run by a group of pink haired LGBT fanatics now. If youre a white cis male nerd your words means nothing to these people.

You’re the one supporting the changes to Wrath, not I

You’re the one who doesn’t seem to like how Wrath was and are okay with changing it according to some idiotic Vanilla fanboy mentality.

You are the one that want LFD before the ICC patch, you are the one thinking LFD is a core feature of wrath. Not me.

Wrath did not have LFD untill the end. So yea, i am totaly fine with how wrath was, without LFD.

Never said that, I said I’m not okay with devs bringing up stupid reasons to exclude it and other features completely from WotLK. Learn to read.

Wrath also did not have ICC raid until the end, or several changes to classes and talents that didn’t occur until 3.3 or later. That doesn’t mean they should be removed from the game completely. What a moronic argument.

Yeah, even heroic dungeons are being “gate kept” lol.

The toxicity comes when these ‘elitist’ don’t want you into their group because you’re not maxed gear, time/comp optimized, verfied part of the 1% top-performing raid logs. But they don’t want you to make your own group with other casual low-entry LFD users, either.

A lot of traumatized souls are so uncertain because they’re told in whisper they don’t match their ideal criteria or told to show up for ‘inspect’ and link their logs, they don’t even bother going through the ordeal. For a heroic dungeon mind you… especially during the first phases.

I think a lot of people would benefit from using the dungeon tool to complete quests, see the content and simply enjoy the game. Make the ilevel dropped 5 level lowers, if you must feel like an elite who did it ‘the hard’ way.

Other than that it still doesn’t make sense spending hours spamming “LF X” while being forced to stand near the entrance keeping you from doing anything else and praying that one of your pugs doesn’t leave, locking you into the instance and unable to find someone who wants to start at 2/5…

I loved WOTLK for the ability to engage into content wherever and whenever, now we’re seeing some ‘vanilla community’ users trying to high-jack the expansion for themselves.

And guess what, we wont have ICC raid at the start either. And tbh i was never a fan of ICC as it was boring AF.

And i have always been a fan of progressive servers. 1.12 totaly killed classic for me as it was an abomination of a game that we got, not what we actually had back then.

Timewise it was app. halfway. This is where it should be now as well. Not at launch, not towards the end.

To get into a dungeon, you need gear and Achievements, that you need to have already run the dungeon to have. Talk of viscious circles …

Content wise it was the end. We played more or less all content without it. Except for ICC.

Hmm. I dare to disagree. Levelling is content as well.Everytnhing isnot dungeons andraids.

Have the devs said we’ll never get ICC in WotLK because it’s not compatible with “the spirit of Classic”, like they have said for LFD?

It seems like you have trouble distinguishing between the meaning of “later” and “never”. Or maybe you’re just playing dumb. You seem to be pretending otherwise, but the devs haven’t said that we will not get LFD at the start of WotLK but we’ll get it near the end, just as it was back then. They said we’re not getting it period (along with other stuff like the aforementioned auto-DE feature etc), because it doesn’t suit their vision of the game.

No, because they know that LFD/RDF was part of the beginning of the end. (Catchup gear was the start, sadly we will still get that)

You have LFD/RFD on both retail and private servers, go play that. Because you will end up being bored of Wrath after a week when you got everything that you should not have anyway with LFD in the game.

Then you’re the one who wants to change WotLK, not us

You don’t have LFD/RFD (or even catchup gear, for the most part) on both Classic Era and Classic SoM, go play that.

Content wise, it was the peak of the expansion, the fight with the lich king, where everything has build towards and everyone clearly remembers.

Why should i go play that when i can play Wrath that does not have LFD as that is what we where using back then?

Most of the content was before LFD.
