Dead server is dead, another brilliant ‘pay to win’ addition to ‘vanilla’ … I won’t pay for a transfer - and it’s impossible to form dungeon grps let alone pvp premades.
I see where you coming from , but there have been many a change already ( you do not see elite archers in AB for example now do you ? ) and I believe that is hardly a “excuse” for not improving on a 15 year old game and learn from mistakes made.
Plus running into a premade was the exception not the rule like it is now
We already have an improved version of the game, retail.
Classic is a recreation of the game how it was. The goal is to be as authentic and historical accurate as possible based on patch 1.12.1. That’s the excuse not to implement custom changes.
Well I doubt that those who play classic think retail as the improved version , personally I do not .
Classic is a re-creation of the game how it was, but with many changes implement it , do not see why not improve upon it making quality to life changes that would allow premades vs premades and pugs vs pugs.
So some changes are OK but changes to make the game more fair are not ?
Disagree friend
That’s not what the word exploit means. It just means “make the most of”. Blizzad misuses the word but doesn’t mean he is calling people hackers/cheaters.
I’d say your whining is definitely funny.
Exactly, that is the point.
If they killed AV premades, they need to kill WSG premades all the same. Because the whole thing is completely same. Premades stomp and camp randoms and make the game totally unfun and terrifying for the vast majority of players.
Your logic is like “hey, don’t develop vaccination for coronavirus because that would kill the virus”.
The point is to kill this premade virus and get rid of this garbage and make the game playable for 95% + players again.
In game terminology then that’s what it refers to. What you’re referring to is the common usage of it.
More sophistry, queue pikachu face.
The AV premades was an exploit, as according to game terminology, because it wasn’t by design to be a thing and it wasn’t possible for both sides in the design.
Ergo, it provided an unfair advantage in the sense that the opponents literally couldn’t do the very same. When you choose not to queue as a premade, for whatever reason, then that’s by design a choice you’re deliberately making when you can do what the opponents did, which is to queue as a premade.
It’s like comparing apples to oranges.
Speaks volume about the map design, the horde racials. AV specifically. The only way alliance had a chance was via a premade and even then it was near the win ratio the horde still have now. 98% of AV games the horde win. the 2% are against Russians.
Not this again…
My point is the horde need to st-fu. They have a bg designed for them to win.
You don’t seem very bright to merit an answer but I will try it once.
- It wasn’t an exploit, there was absolutely nothing shady about it except that a lot of players clicked the button at the exact same time using a discord channel. And it was technically possible to do the same in vanilla/original game code.
- So you tell me if it was also possible for horde to premade, it should have been in the game? The issue was not that only one side could do it, it was a secondary problem. The issue was that it made the game undesirable for one of the teams, just like WSG premades. So the outcome is the same.
- Just the same way it provides an unfair advantage for WSG premades. Your opponents could do the same, but they don’t, either because they don’t want to spend 15 hours a day using 100g worth of consumables and doing it as a full time job, or they just want to do BGs as a leisure activity and chill while doing so.
Therefore, everyone is either being forced to play the game in the same way because of premades or being GY camped the entire time, which is harming the game. - It is not, it is comparing red apples to green apples. Every single example in this universe will have some differences to a certain extent. Even if you compare two grains of salts to each other and look closely, you will realize that they are not identical.
So WSG and AV premades are not identical, but the outcome they produce for the non-premade group is the same.
The reason AV premades got fixed was partly because it caused a lot of empty games to open, so things like 8v40 in pugs was pretty regular, and partly because only alliance could do it.
With AB and WSG, there are no empty games, and both factions can do it, so there’s nothing to fix.
Instead of empty games, now 80% of the games is one team waiting as ghosts in the GY until the game ends.
Great game design, innit?

80%
Literally not possible, but ok
blizzdoncare
If it infact is that many premades, it’s only 1/10 games where the premade is fighting pugs. And if that is the case it would be really fun to ROFL stomp the enemy’s every 10th game as a small little relax time between the premade vs premade war Wich require 100% focus and burning consumes.

So some changes are OK but changes to make the game more fair are not ?
What change have been done to classic that are comparable to changing the queue system like that?
The change you ask for have never been part of wow so why would Blizzard implement it now, in Classic? To be fair? Classic pvp have never been fair, by design. Its an mmorpg and not a symmetrical esport.
These threads appear like mushrooms out of the floor. Seriously get good, build your own premade and stop complaining.
A group of five people can heavily impact the outcome of a BG as well. Do you want that to be prohibited next?
