PvE servers are boring for most people. I thought I’d like one too when I rolled on Pyrewood for a bit, but it just… lacks so much. No danger, nothing, makes Classic much more dull.
Retail is PvE game already, so people like to have PvP in Classic.
Especially since PvP in retail is long boring fights with too many defensive cooldowns, while Classic you can actually kill someone in a second. And on top of that, retail doesn’t allow big scale wpvp due to too much lag, while In Classic you can have 100v100 fights with no lag.
I came very close to rolling on a PvP server.
PvP players in WoW have always seemed like an odd bunch to me. They seem to broadcast from the loudest hill that “PvP is the way the game is meant to be played”, yet two breaths later seem to complain without relief about the PvP ruleset:-
People are dispelling my worldbuffs, there is cross-faction collusion in Silithus, my faction is outnumbered 5-to-1 and the game is “unplayable”, there’s a devilsaur mafia in Ungoro creator, this faction has an advantage in this battleground, people are killing and camping the flight masters, there’s more horde than alliance in Ironforge, this faction’s Racials are overpowered in this expansion, people are camping this area/resource, can we have faction-specific queues, the faction balance is terrible, the open world is dead because everyone is boosting in dungeons (to avoid ganking), it’s not pvp when you’re outnumbered 20-to-1 and so on and so on. But then a moment later asserts anyone who rolls PvE is only playing half the game, is clicking on NPC’s and is missing out on all the “fun”.
Back when i started playing WoW and first chose my realm and saw the PvP ruleset I assumed that if i chose that WoW would be a non-stop gank and griefing fest. According the all the crying butt-hurt PvP server players on X faction that was true.
Why is it only PvP servers seem to suffer from mass exoduses?
All the constant complaints has warded me off from trying a PvP server for over a decade and did so again when i chose my realm in classic. I think other people who roll PvE for the same reason.
I’m dreading TBC if it’s released with no changes, all those players in a smaller world with more PvP incentives. There’s going to be so much “it’s not fair” crying. I would like PvP players to collectively show us how great PvP servers are by not complaining on a weekly basis about PvP.

I know what you’re saying about the pvp servers, but I want to know why you went off on people for the lack of exp in pvp after you talk about your opinions on why there are more pvp servers.
Why do you never answer as to why you have a go at people for low pvp exp after you explain as to why you believe there are more pvp servers.
These are completely different topics yet you keep answering me with an answer that has nothing to do with my question (not the question about pvp servers, I couldn’t make it more clear each time).
