Why so toxic against boosted chars?

Feel free to unsube then

You can’t save retail. You need to learn from your mistakes. And clearly unlike you – I actually do. Hence why I’m advocating for the removal of boosts, mounts etc. It ruins the game. I know, from experience.

On Classic it’s dead, at least for my realms. 3 people total in sw lol.

I attack you, not really but if you feel like that because from my view you want what’s worst for the game health. I want it to survive 10+ years from now. And right now it needs tough love.

Anyway as I said, I’m no saint either. I’m EXACTLY the customer for retail. I’m that one guy that spends for 6 normal people. It’s crazy how people (like me) can get sucked into that. They know that, Blizzard know what they’re doing. Fomo works. It’s a miracle I haven’t bought the Blizzcon bear mount yet. It’s only because I fear the game is reaching it’s end for reals. sadly.

Don’t take everything I say literarily. It’s how do I say. Fortnite is a great game but a prime example of getting rich of fomo design. The people that play that and support that are digging their own graves, for next games will monetize even harder. So not literarily.

You could label ME as a Fortnite player. Because in retail I am exactly like that. As I said. However I needs to change, I need to change but so does everyone else. And I was hoping classic was safe from this destruction.

No you misunderstand. It’s not the mounts. It’s about scarcity. Even without store mounts. Retail has 500 mounts or so. So another 1 more mount can only be so unique and exciting. During Classic and TBC, And WolTK mounts were… how do I say this nicely… Primitive.! So Ashes of Alar is extremely visible there. Just like the new store mount. Granted it doesn’t fly. Blizz know exactly how far they can push the buttons.

You deserve it  /spit

So it’s worse than excluding others from activities and publicly spitting and/or insulting them… Sure keep telling yourself that maybe one day it’ll be true

People take the /spit emote way to personal.

While I disagree with having boosts, xrealms and all that stuff, if I spit at you, its surely not because of that, but because of something you did, like taking a herb I was fighting for, or attacking a quest mob without an invite or some other toxic behaivour.

Someone could have 100 store mounts, I wouldnt care one bit, but if you grab my flowers, I will get angry.

Sorry m8 but most retail players are much better WoW players than Classic only players. Even if they don’t have Classic experience they can easily play their boosted class in several hours since Classic classes are extremely simple in comparison to Retail.

Sorry m8 many classes dont work the same at all, for example someone who never played a paladin back in the day will just be confused and have no clue what a seal is or why they just cant spam abilitys (if they are ret or prot). Warrior tanks have to actually get hit to generate rage to generate threat and seeing as the threat mechanic is basicly gone from the game in retail all retail players who come in wanting to tank will have a harder time than they think.

lol k. Mechanically the game is different. The challenge for retail players will most likely be other classic players not wanting them around or the fact that things actually have to be earned through gameplay and I mean actual time consuming gameplay.

I play a warrior tank and I could tank strat/scholo in an hour. Its simple. Adjusting to simplicity isn’t hard at all

Ye and thats a whole challenge, I agree. Mechanics wise and class-wise the game is just simple for an average retail player.

My whole point is Retail players probably won’t ruin your dungeon runs because they don’t know how to play their class.

It’ll probably more the case of overpulling or expecting things to just instantly die like they do on retail.

You call it simplicity I call it a more relaxed and also more tactical play style, but yeah all the vanila dungeons are super simple to tank as a warrior. I should know xD, but for example a paladin tank who dont know that mana management is important to tank as a paladin will have a bad time at first before adjusting. And like spreadcheeks said its not that people wont be able to do the dungeons and such is that they will most likley overpull and kill the group becouse things dont just fall over instantly.

Thats because retail tells the player how to play the game, with arrows showing them what direction to take and how to get there, with no other option

whereas us classic players actually have to play the game because unlike retail, it still follows the MMO philosophy

so sorry m8

If you do m+ on Retail you can’t overpull either  Unless you are overgeared ofc. And if you are overgeared you can overpull in Classic too.

Thats why everyone has questie addon which shows you where to go?

Think you completly missunderstod him he is talking about boss fights actually so it would be dbm not questie for that but dbm is not as powerfull as the danger zones in retail is
