What i also Dont understand is why to take down This PTR hardcore Test server for 7 days. There are a lot of people playing this and enjoying it atm!
7 days is kinda stupid.
like 90% of the people that play here dont care about PVP.
So if u take this server down 7days only to make them test something els wont work.
after 7 days like 50% of the players wont return to this PTR Hardcore server bcos 7 days offline is way to long.
As you’ve read here:
A realm will be specifically opened for PVP testing. The PTR can be turned off and changed at any moment without prior notice as its a test environment and is meant to collect specific data, in your other thread you could unofficially join a PVE-RP community realm with HC addons if you want a HC-like experience in the meantime or wait until the official HC realm release.

No, you don’t get it, it’s not a live realm. It’s there to test stuff not to play the game fully.
It can be turned off at any time, you characters can be deleted at any time. They won’t be moved to live when it arrives.
Is there always only one PTR?
There was until it was turned off.
Other testing times can have more than one realm but I don’t think HC will ever have more than one.
Even then it’s usually only one of each type.
I think in the past there were multiple PTR’s depending on what the devs want to test.
Not what I asked Now HC PTR not live, but PvP one is. Later PvP one go away and HC one return. Only one test realm at any one time.
Not if test realm is same for all, I could see that with people having Chinese characters for names and time not my time and so on …

Yes I too see old Wrath Test Realm, I bet I cannot play. But even after update PTR is still HC server

Why NOT take down PTR? They need time for to fix bugs and find new things for testing till it come back live again. You know what means PTR? Public Test Realm. Is NOT permanent.
Is not same persons testing I won’t test PvP server either.
Why not. We will make new test characters and play again to find new bugs and test out new limits.
I not understand you. Is TEST realm. Made for us to test for bugs, find glitches, do idiotic things so that Blizz can fix all things not working. Is not primarily made for us to have fun. Fun is only side effect here.
HC PTR will be taken down today. But our characters will stay to when thy return.
