Because its a populated faction. And when there is to much of a supply(Horde faction) on one side the demand will be high on the other(Allie faction) Basic laws.
But hey lets neglect all logic and longterm side effects and let all juice up. I dont care about future problems of side effects I want my muscles/gains NOW!!!
Except I did a big brain thing and rolled on a PvE server.
And b4 you jump over to the “then it’s not your problem gtfo!!” I’ll just say that this issue will only cause more troubles to the entire game if it gets to live on.
Removing all incentive to play Alliance basically since the established meta is to play Horde. I picked Allie as I havent tried it in any game previously due to beeing Horde player from 2005. We live in a meta age today compared to original TBC which makes it even more important not to cater to the whishes of those who love to go metamode.
With not implementing same faction BG’s and Free Faction Transfers instead you keep both factions at control. Pretty much forcing those who want to play BG so dearily to roll over faction. They can keep all their stuff with it too.
He kinda not. People rather not play game than play Alliance.
Also, alliance have better racials, so there atleast one good reasons for min/maxers to play alliance.
The whole discussion about which racials are the better ones is just dumb and pointless.
What is the purpose of these racials? Different races having different and unique abilities is a role playing element. What would be the purpose of selecting a race if they would all work the same? It would only be a visual difference. Adding more depths to each race makes it more immersive and that’s a big plus for an RP game.
From a sportive point of view they are problematic because to have a fair playing field, these racials have to be balanced (how well they are balanced right now does not matter too much).
The fundamental problem is that we have an RPG with PvP elements and players make such a big deal out of it that they treat it as a sport. RPG elements are bad for competitive PvP and competitive game design is bad for RPG.
In my opinion it’s fine to have unbalanced stuff in an RPG. If i would play a competitive game, i would not play an RPG. WoW arena is a joke in the competitive gaming scene. Imaging being a competitive player in an MMORPG xD
So you should be able to play the faction you want with no drawbacks, refusing to change to Alliance because you don’t like them, but Alliance should just reroll Horde and gg?
What are the huge alliance drawbacks? And im not saying you have to but if you think horde is such an op faction and you cant find any reason to play alliance with the bg change i think you should be able to join the horde then.
I (as many from both sides, even as you yourself if I got it right) like the faction we play for aesthetics, lore, etc. it’s not just based on minmaxing PvP.
Horde has a huge advantage with PvP racials, fly paths (in vanilla) and now even a lot of PvE racials are better horde side. And this is pretty much a given by how absurdly unbalanced is the population ratio and the issues you are describing as having 1+ hrs of queue.
We are have been asking for a solution that saves both parties an issue and instead got a laugh from the devs that chose to cater to the whiny bunch that wanted an easy one sided solution so now we have all the rights to be pissed off.
All the racials are so situational!!! I get that WoTF is god tier against lock and priest but its useless against other classes. Human racial is amazing vs rogues and druids. In a pvp eviroment i think both side have great racials. And i agree with you with that the most people dont play to minmax and play the race/class/faction they like or find cool
