Why the BG change must be stopped

Except, you don’t? Alleviating queue times is a positive change, and doesn’t impact on Alliance; additionally, it doesn’t negate from why you chose to play Alliance in the first place, which, by your own admission, is for aesthetics, lore, and so on.

Would much rather see horde>ally transfers, though.

Undead only has WOTF which does nothing against Shamans, Druids, Paladins, Rogues, Hunters and Mages.

There is no HORDE argument that can justify the changes you were testing.

You have chosen HORDE for its advantages, now face the only BAD side of the coin…

I can’t believe you guys are so freaking stupid not to understand that making one of the factions able to play the entire game alone is a terrible thing.

You deserve what this game became with retail, hands down.

How much of a clown are you?

You made that point already, i made my counter point, then you make the same point again?

:man_facepalming:

Dirty lie, ud player

But does a lot against warlocks warriors and priests

Better not start that talk again. You are the one lock who think that Wotf can remove death coil, right?

this is only a selfish suggestion, yes there is a faction imbalance issue, ofc it needs to be addressed but why have hordes wait 1hr queues to be crushed by alliance premade in 2 minutes for 0 honor? for how long? after months some positive change and you want to go back to non-working “minor changes and monitor outcome?”

not to say it will not work. there are ppl who will never play alliance because they just don’t like it, not matter the incentives, so why in the meanwhile punish hordes for playing the game with the faction they love? especially when it was allies re-rolling to horde?

also while we are speaking the problem is turning deeper and deeper each moment (for months now!!!) because allies have all their gear, turning away from bgs to have hordes wait more and more.

you suggestion is absolutely unrealistic and spiteful.

Wha? What’s wrong with you

Sry but nobody will transfer, not unless they’d give money for it really.
We are past the point where people transfer because of gear and friends.
But atleast you tried to give a solution cant say that for many of the other alliance players that complain about * ‘Faction Imbalance’ *
Mounts and other retail features arent even CLOSE to the level of inconvience or troubles caused.
Are you a no change andy?
Do you have a horde character?
/From a sincere TBC classic player who waited 14 years for this game to return AND ACTUALLY FUNCTION.
But yea i hated the mount and boost too.
Amazing right?

But its so much easier to just blame blizzard xd.
Played on warmane alliance, so many angry people there too.
Now that im horde having a blast.
People are projecting hardcore and most if not all the people who complain about racials just dont know the game well enough even after 14 years.
Some classes and specs are bis for alliance and vice versa.
Nothing more to be said.

Well the natural solution was to reroll

Blizzard flipped the tables

Just open faction transfers and remove any content where its a “req” to have 2 factions

Forcing people to reroll would not have worked. I would have taken it but the majority do not want to. The people who would could not have made a meaningful impact. Take a look at the queues - before FvF there would be 10-15 instances of AB. During FvF it shot up to 150+. Based on this we can assume there would roughly be 225 alliance wanting to play AB vs 2025 horde. Horde do not outnumber Alliance 9-to-1. For the queues to balance we’d have to see a massive shift from alliance to horde, to the point where the faction balance would be heavily skewed in favour of alliance just to get enough PVPers on both sides. Alliance don’t PVP.

Faction balance is inevitable. Pservers have proved nothing can fix it other than harshly penalising one side AND massively incentivising the other, but this has to be implemented on day zero else people will just walk out in droves. All players can do now is transfer to a high-pop server (applies to both Horde and Alliance) and play happily until WotLK comes out.

Don’t agree. Implement same faction BG’s sooner rather than later, cus Horde won’t transfer. People didnt decide on their race cus of racials or whatever, but to play with their friends and because they don’t want to play the good guys.

This change will help alliance too for open-world farming, meeting stone grief, etc.

Even if Blizz remove all racials, people will still tend to rather play horde, I mean, who would want to interact with players like you lol?

you are right in many ways. but the solution is an alli HP bonus and RBG

The HvH bg is good solution, if you dont want to play alliance with equal ques then maybe you should consider your motives of doing so better.

Bump on this one.

No, it won’t. There was no difference at all when this was tested dispite claims otherwise. There was no difference before TBC, during prepatch, after TBC launch or during testing of the horde-fighting-against-horde cancer. The game has been on the same lvl of ganking since P2 and some servers are pretty much unplayable. Ruining the game by turning it into 1 faction retail world of peacecraft won’t change that, sorry.

Edit: It all comes down to having servers with 85% horde, it doesn’t matter if we can fight against our selfs in BGs when we outnumber alliance like that. In fact, I’d bet seeing such a rarity as an alliance player makes most horde wanna kill em even more. And that’s just going to get more and more worse by the minute. Numbers are going the wrong way and Blizzard doesn’t give a damn about having a healthy faction balance.
