Thank you.
Thank you.
The game isn’t changing to fit anyone.
Nobody requested the 58 boost, that was all Blizztivision’s doing.
Blizzard changed it themselves to fit the instant-gratification crowd.
Yes, it was changed to fit anyone. Just not through loud demanding of such services, but because Blizzard speculated this will get them money.
A one time 58 boost does not change the game though.
It does. It makes botting far more effective and generate more gold. Thus it will create massive amounts of gold, increase inflation, increase the demand for more gold and the readiness to pay Gold Sellers. Thus the demand for the WoW-Token will increase… and finally blizzard can start selling that excrement to us again in classic and not just in retail.
Yes, the one time boost WILL change the game.
It will also attract a different crowd. A different kind of gamer. A gamer that will then reshape the culture of WoW classic and with changed culture the game changes.
Yes, it will change the game.
And I’ll like each and every single ‘i told you so’ thread on these forums if that really does happen.
exactly but now some forum white knights are defending it religiously…
makes you wonder whether there was really a need for it or if some people just like to be on the defending end for argument’s sake
Most of these forum white knights don’t actually care whether or not the boost happens.
It’s just funnier to be for the boost than against it, i’d rather not be on the side of the ‘worst case scenario doomsayers’.
The people defending the boost have been speaking more sense.
It’s a massive change in the game.
I for example, if I would like to make another alt, that alt will be bought from Blizzard 100%.
So blizzard boosted you to 58 instead of a mage. Anything else that changed? Gameplay changes? Zone changes? Items? Dungeons/raids ?
Like I said this boost doesn’t change the game.
And that takes out the cash-shop boost and everything else… how? I don’t care about your likes.
So nothing really changes if anything is added.
You are missing the point. Adding barber shops, race change and all the good stuff won’t change anything you said but it will change the game.
As for the people defending boots, they come with mind blowing arguments like skipping the game is playing the game better. There are far better legitimate arguments out there few are making because they don’t understand what they are playing.
Not only I’m not against boosting but I’m not against those who are buying gold every now and then for strict necessities either. Because I get it, life is in the way and that’s kinda the only way or something like that w/e.
You can’t stop the boost. It has already been decided.
Just like you can’t stop cash shop if Blizzard does suddenly decide to introduce it.
They don’t poll stuff like Jagex does with their customers.
Least I can do is acknowledge I was wrong and you were right but fine I’ll skip your thread. (not like we’ll ever get to that point in time anyway)
Like these nuggets of knowledge?
‘‘LOL it’s coming whether you like it or not so no point arguing’’
‘‘Just don’t use it if you don’t like it’’
‘‘It doesn’t affect you’’
‘‘blizz will make money that they will then put back into the game’’
yeah, they are the side making sense alright. Sounds like you DO have a horse in this race but playing the part of the ‘unbiased observer’ to make your pro-boost views seem legitimate.
58 boost leads to wow tokens
Leads to faction change
Leads to 70 boost
Leads to epic gear shop
Bots will run rampant (already do)
Zones will die (already ded)
Game will be destroyed.
You tell me which makes more sense.
This
…
I rest my case you coocoo heads.
the irony…
you made a 6 word reply with an insult (which is against ToU btw)
7 words. Unless you don’t count coocoo as a word, then it cannot be an insult either.
You guys sound worse than the covid and 5g conspiracy theorists on facebook.
And that is why It’s more fun to choose sides with the more sane pro-boosters.
nonsense with an implication can still be an insult
