Why vulpera?

Obviously you stick your head in the sand when Vulpera players literally behave this way lol

Ogre culture, you wouldn’t get it.

There’s quite a big difference in monster looking “fur” people than this disneyfied mess.

Because you’re out of touch with certain points in the lore?

It was thanks to the Ogre magi that Gul’dan could bypass the barrier in Eversong Woods :stuck_out_tongue:

Nope, I don’t need to see some out of game reference to see who Vulperas cater towards lol

Literally every race could roleplay as a pirate, as it referenced ingame. Even Taurens could be pirates. I don’t see what’s so piraty about little furballs.
And besides, you assume that every Vulpera player sees them this way. You’re in the minority for that one.

There’s Alliance for you.

Me doing well? Are you the referee and both the person argueing? lol? Quit being delusional. If most of the Vulpera players I encountered ingame act out exactly like the people who /lick (no seriously, I joined a timewalk and there was a vulpera who /licked me)
So is it my fault most Vulpera players act out stereotypically? If I sexualized them wouldn’t I be playing one?

It literally was one dev who thought it would be funny to add a katana and a blademaster samurai, you act like they’re massive weebs. So it’s not okay to ever add katanas or a guy with an “accent”? It’s just a cool reference to samurai.

They have tails of their own kind hanging on their wagon

They’re not murderous. They’re scavengers at best, and no, there’s not a “scavenging” Horde race.
Also, who says the Alliance can’t be Murderours or Thieves? That’s not a Horde “trait”.

They’re an adaptation of a folklore in a fantasy game. No way are they furries at all. They do not cater to the furry market. They do not fit any definitions of the furry market.

And yes I’ve read the book for a school work.

No they are not. You’re just using that as a cope. No one back in the day played Taurens because they were cute and furry. They were menacing and big monsters.

Cope.

Clearly better than you if you think it’s all but murderers and thieves.

Yes and they exactly look like one!

They obviously adapted and evolved biologically toward to withstand their environment. Obviously Zandalari Trolls aren’t biologically equipped to deal with the Desert. Maybe the Sandfury Trolls are, but Zandalari aren’t Sandfury trolls.

Not one time was a vulpera shaman showcase in Vol’dun haha. Not one time were the elements referenced.
They were just used to living in a desert. They evolved that way. They didn’t need the elements to survive.

i log in on my vulpera all female blood elves in silvermoon comes petting me .
dont be so yelly that Vulpera gets all the girls …

Orc Warrior challenges Orc Rogue to an honourable locker room duel:

“monster”

not “disneyfied”

I get what you’re saying but taurens have changed quite the bit over the years from how they were portayed

Yes and I hate the way that Blizzard “remastered” them. But you can’t say that Blizzard went with this depiction from the start. They were clearly more monster like from the start. Even those in WC3 sound menacing.

But then again, new devs took over and this is where they want to head down towards. It’s sad to see.

Mad cuz playing worst looking race in the game I see. :^)

If you say it so yourself, but why post that on a vulpera?

As far as I’m aware it was confirmed that the tails hanging on the wagons aren’t vulpera tails. They’re just a handmade decoration. The vulpera most certainly aren’t cannibals, nor do I believe that Blizzard would ever depict a playable race as such. They even made the Darkspear trolls forsake cannibalism with the launch of Vanilla/Classic.

It’s normal that people can’t know everything about lore. That’s why I said “certain points”. Brigante obviously has no love for Ogres so I’m guessing he doesn’t know much about noteable Ogre characters.

Also “sweet summer child”.
Reddit is down the hallway to the left.

So…

Footsoldiers.

Like all the players are.

Nah been there, last I saw it was full of people complaining that their favourite race wasn’t an allied race…

Oh and just out of interest, how much are you willing to bet on how much Ogre law brigante knows?

who says we Vulpera are cannibals ? all i eat is desert flower seeds farmed in Vul’dun …

Rektem called them cannibals because of the tails hanging from the vulpera wagons.

Oh you’re one of those people who like Marvel superpowers in characters like Thrall and Jaina?

Ogres aren’t an allied race, but a core race :stuck_out_tongue:

By an amazing coincide they also had a good run in the 80’s and 90’s WWF…

  1. can you PLAY as Thrall or Jaina?
No. They are important lore characters. It would stand to reason their powers are vastly superior to ours. You. Are not. Same as I’m not an important lore character Ergo if we were to stand toe to toe with either Thrall or Jaina the contest would be over before they even deigned to notice our challenge…

So a playable Ogre would be a foot soldier. Regardless of whether he or she was hurling huge balls of searing plasma or swinging a huge chopper round their head. Not sure why you are dragging marvel Super hero powers into this though.
Last i saw vast majority of WoW’s spells and techniques look straight from a comic book. But you do you.

  1. If they were core they appear to be missing from the original roster from Vanilla WoW.

Ergo they would be Allied.

And?

But how is this an argument that Ogres can’t be a playable race because of that?

Because these “allied” races literally joined us last expansion, both the Stonemaul clan and the Ogres within Duskwallow Marsh, aswell as the Raventusk tribe have been allied with the Horde since day 1. So its safe to say they’re more of a core race than these “allied” subraces.
