Everyone from top 0.001 to the most chill person agrees that Soul Ash needs to be come from various sources - WQ, BG, arenas, Dungeons, raids, vendor. Imagine having to do the thing for a full expansion, every week, multiple times and even worse if you want to multilass/spec. You will blow a nerve.

The only thing I can do to progress is mindlessly spam m+ in hope for a loot drop or raid. aside from the mere weekly ash that I havnt done in 2 weeks bnecause I just dont enjoy it.
Then you have people lijke Elahri and her sanctum hubby (Its a 2 man guild with alot alts or something like that) bragging and causing arguements. Happenent in this topic too.

The bottom line is that you have ZERO credible evidence to support a claim that the majority of people doesn’t like TH. Period.
Of course you do, if you want to. I want to have 5+ chars on atleast “normal” gear progression so I can go and swap if it is more fun to play a spec over another one. Or just for mog runs, or for gold farm or for some banter with friends. The game is not only m+/arena/raid for me.
Elahri tries to be a guide, but sucks a it. I am sure he/she is an amazing player, but I would not play with the person in question. However, the same person also wants soul ash to come from more sources.

I am not? Elahri is a typical person that you will find in a class discord (if he is not banned from them). Has a lot of information, can show you a lot of tips and tricks, but social skills are null.
Yes I’ve made a claim and backed that up with the evidence I have. Blizzard obviously seeing Torghast was flopping with their own data being the muder weapon… now rebut it with evidence.

The guy went all “Cheese tactics are stupid” about ways to kill bosses. He has no desire to learn how to beat them.
To be honest the bubble tactic is stupid. Especially if you consider that it is one hour investment to execute it and you can still fail, making the last boss a lot worse.
There’s more, like the way I beat it on my priest by spamming fade, with the boss being unable to hit me. Which I also mentioned. I also told him how to beat it as a mage but he refuses to switch to arcane and insists on being frost for the last boss.
Elahri, as I mentioned you have a lot of useful info, but your communication skills are god horrid. Just because I can read trough your stuff and comment on it, doesn’t mean most people will not be insulted.

Funny because I did it easily. (Haven’t done the next 2, should be fine though). Having “Proper gear n skill” doesn’t mean Torghast is actually fun, so. It’s boring and long af. So you might want to get your facts right and to stop making assumptions. 
If Elahri is my guild member, discord friend or anything alike I would not give a damn. I almost don’t give one in the forum too, but him being so… Elahri towards other players makes them close the shop, instead of discussing how to make their life easier in Thorgast.
I did my 8 run yesterday 2 hours after reset, but did not knew 3/4 of the things he mentioned.
